We booked this cottage last minute for a short 3 night break and what a lucky find.

The location was absolutely perfect. It is such a stunning area and so much to do and this was the perfect base to explore it all from. The cottage itself is very cosy, spotless clean on arrival and we loved the way it was decorated. It had everything you would need and we enjoyed the lovely welcome gift left for us too. We would definitely return and recommend this to others.

This beautiful little cottage nestles in the gorgeous village of Llanbedr.

It's a great place to base yourselves for short trip days out or further afield if you don't mind a drive. Snowdonia as an area is stunning and wonderous. The cottage is equipped with a very modern kitchen and a cosy front room with a log burner. The underfloor heating meant that returning from our days out the cottage was already toasty warm. Our host, Pete was so helpful with before and during our stay, giving me information not only about the cottage but also about the local area and recommendations based on my questions. If you want a break in Snowdonia then if the size suits your needs then Y Bwthyn is well worth your consideration.

Y Bwythn is a well appointed little cottage in the heart of Llanbedr.

It's in a quiet location, with roadside parking. The cottage was as clean as a new pin, and felt very secure. The owners had provided dog biscuits, which was an unexpected treat and much appreciated by Max. The heat pump is maybe not as efficient as it could be, but there is a log burner and oil filled radiators to supplement if necessary. We didn't freeze by any means!

Perfect cottage in a perfect setting by the River Artro in Llanbedr surrounded by beautiful beaches, waterfalls and mountains.

A lovely cottage with superb facilities, very cosy and welcoming.

Highly recommended. We've stayed here before and will do so again. The area outstanding with plenty to see and do.

Very comfortable with well equipped modern kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Secure garden for the dog. Good communication with hosts. Llanbedr is a quaint village with a pub serving very good food.

Fabulous cottage - clean, well-equipped, quiet and an ideal location for exploring the local area, with the river across the road and a shop and pub just round the corner.

Beautiful cosy cottage in an excellent location for accessing a number of beaches and attractive villages.

The cottage was furnished to a high quality with attention to detail, providing lots of extras that dont normally come with self catering cottages to enable you to cook as if at home. A lovely secure garden for the dog and for sitting out and dining in the sunshine chilling. We visit North Wales 3 times a year and this is the best equipped cottage we have stayed in as also a brilliant location. The beds were super comfy and we all had a relaxing weeks break even the dog was sad to go home and will definitely return here.

ah the welcome pack of milk ,tea and Welsh cakes with butter and honey jam were a nice surprise. The owner’s attention to detail is exemplary and would highly recommend , with a local village shop less than 100 metres away , 7 till late everyday , village pub with great food over the bridge what more do you need with walks in every direction . Parking plentiful be it not immediately outside the front door which is the norm with terrace properties , Thank you to Pete and Lynn.

This is a very well presented and positioned property and including many delightful additions to ensure a comfortable stay.

Cottage is beautifully decorated and facilities are excellent.

It's situated in a beautiful village very close to 2 lovely pubs with excellent food. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and our dog and the owners were very responsive when needed. An absolute gem of a place, highly recommended 5*!

Very comfortable, clean with modern furnishings, and well equipped. To have 2 bathrooms in a two bedroom cottage is a bonus. Secure rear garden and front area. Very good communication with hosts.

The cottage is lovely and clean and well maintained and has all the facilities needed to self cater if desired.

It is in a cracking position in the village of Llanbedr near to all amenities and pubs etc. However, there is a price to pay for this accessibility in terms of parking. There is parking on the road opposite the cottage on a first come, first served basis and usually you can get in somewhere along that road but not always. This can be problematic when arriving with all your luggage and shopping so just be prepared. There is a train station and also a campsite further down this road, which creates a lot of traffic in peak periods when they arrive and depart or are going out for the day. Again, it is something that can be worked around and did not detract from our very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well equipped as described in the listing and we wanted for nothing during our stay. Getting out to all the various seaside locations and local villages is easy with nothing being too far away for a day trip - we enjoyed several great days out. The garden is a bonus in the good weather and allows you to eat outside ‘al fresco’ which we did a couple of times. At night the village is quiet and you get a peaceful nights sleep in both the bedrooms. I would recommend the cottage for a good all round self catering holiday in a lovely friendly village with a couple of great pubs and the super local shop, which really does stock everything!!

Loved the cottage, very clean and comfortable, great south facing outdoor space to have a glass of wine in the evening.

Three lovely pubs within walking distance serving great food, would definitely recommend staying at this lovely cottage, we will back. Eileen, Dave and the doggies

Beautiful park of the country .

Y Bwthyn is an amazing cottage set in a fabulous village surrounded by hills river And trains .The cottage is well equipped all modern under floor heating new carpets great kitchen appliances. The photos on the walls in all rooms are great . Loved this cottage the garden was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine We had a fabulous walk up the river to the near by waterfalls and the same day on a beautiful beach . Pete & Lynn had great communications with us during our stay . The cottage was in need of nothing . 2 beautiful bedrooms both with toilets and shower the double room with bath also . Thank-you so much for letting us stay in you're fabulous cottage . We would love to return . 5 stars all round ✨️ Our 2 dogs were very welcomed with a great welcome pack

Excellent under floor heating was an issue did not seem to work but really did not effect us it was not cold.

In general it was an excellent few days, the rest of the house was first class the position is fab. you can walk to 3 local pubs so no need to drive at night plenty of walks in the local area.Sykes did a very good job in making our stay one to remember thank you Andrew Quest

A truly beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting.

The cottage was 5 star. It was nicely decorated with modern underfloor heating and 2 great sized bedrooms both with ensuite facilities. The garden was perfect for the dog, lovely and sunny even during early spring. The setting was beautiful. 3 pubs close by. Great transport links if you want to get about without the car. The surrounding area and beaches offer so many different adventures. Perfect for walking and exploring. We had a perfect break.

Absolutely lovely cottage one of the best I've stayed in beautiful kitchen and lounge nice space outdoors comfy bed cosy and warm great little village with nice dog walks and good pub on the doorstep loved the little shop that sells almost everything!

This is such a well Prepared And Thought out property

A lot of finance has been invested to give good quality and comfortable accommodation, position could cause difficulty being on a busy side road.

We enjoyed our stay and surrounding countryside Snowdonia very accessible.

really enjoyed the cottage, quite awkward to park at certain times, as the road is quite narrow, so when vehicles are there only one can get by, but lovely cottage, lovely base to explore other areas, and we used local transport also.

Fantastic cottage located in the heart of the village.

The interior is finished very well and was perfectly clean. Lots of little touches to make you feel at home and help keep the kids entertained. The welcome packs for both ourselves and the dog was an added bonus. Thank you and will definitely return in the future!

Excellent Cottage, very clean, great locution and good communication owners

A clean, modern, well-designed little house- it was the perfect base for us as a family of four.

You open the front door to the sound of the river rushing along outside, and the shop and pubs in the village were very convenient. We loved being cosy round the wood fire in the evenings. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a really lovely stay here and would definitely recommend!

What a lovely cottage.

Its been furnished and finished to a great standard and we didnt want for anything. Ollie the Labrador, loved the treats that had been left for him. Great location with 3 pubs all within a 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend this property.

The house was very clean and very well designed. We had everything we needed. The location is great and very quiet. A little shop and pub just across the road. The village is lovely and not far from Harlech and Barmouth. We got a welcome message from Pete and Lynn in case we had any questions and a little welcome treat for the dog and us. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back!

Recently refurbished to a very high standard.

Cottage is in a beautiful spot by a river with three dog friendly pubs within five minutes. Information provided by Pete and Lynn was great both for the cottage and things to do in the area. Will definitely be back
