“A lovely, comfortable place in a beautiful location.”

The cottage was extremely well-equipped but there was no WiFi.! Some people want to get away from such things on holiday but, although we are in our late 70s and early 80s, we missed it a lot as we subscribe to, and download, our newspaper online so had to buy one! We also like to look up local information such as restaurants etc. We would probably not go back because of it, and it must be a negative for younger people! ...

The other downsides were not being able to open the windows, due to secondary double glazing, and the fact that hand towels were not provided. However, apart from the above, a really nice cottage, and we felt very much at home. We forgot to leave a gratuity for the cleaner but arranged for a friend - who lives in the High Street - to drop one into Bron Castell’s’ post box with a note of thanks from us. June Taylor

Thank you for your feedback and glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Bron Castell. Wi fi is not currently available at the cottage - as was stated in the Sykes description- but there is a good phone signal in the area and usually 4G signal can be found. We are, however, looking to install WiFi in the next few weeks for the benefit of our guests. Plenty of towels are provided and we are sorry that you were unable to locate the hand towels. We are also sorry that you were unable to open all the windows. We are always happy to help guests with issues like this if only they would contact us during their stay. We are sure though that you found the stable door into the kitchen diner provided plenty of fresh air during the hot summer days . We hope that we can welcome you back to Bron Castell in the future. This much loved family house is in a great location in the heart of Harlech.

"This stunning stone cottage has real kerb appeal, boasting superb views and only a stones throw away from the shops, restaurants and cafes of this pretty seaside town!" Sit and people watch on the pretty cobbled square with brightly coloured painted picnic benches outside Cafe Llew Glas where you can buy delicious homemade snacks during the day and Spanish tapas by night!
