We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, clean, and well-equipped cottage.

It’s perfectly located near local shops and pubs, and there are plenty of beautiful walks right on the doorstep. A fantastic base for exploring the nearby coastal towns.

. it was perfect for what we needed.. Really clean and cosy. It had everything you could possibly need for the perfect stay.. The owners have really thought about your stay, making sure there's games, maps of the area, kitchen stocked with all the utensils you need for cooking, a lovely shower, log burning fire, lovely seating area in the garden.. will definitely be booking again!!

Lovely little cottage.

Well equipped and in great location.

The property was damp.

Smells of damp Windows in living room cannot be opened health and safety concerns. Window in bathroom the latch was broken (no notification) cannot close window. Damp on bathroom ceiling, window and net curtain …. Ventilation vent full of dust and is not working properly to prevent build up of ventilation. Radiator in bathroom was not working at all turned on water was leaking out. Light switch to kitchen stopped working Washing machine was full of mould black gluppy mould. Kitchen floor dirty not swept or mopped The front garden overgrown and porch not swept bad impression The whole house needs deep cleaning behind beds, lots of cobwebs underneath microwave food crumbs and kitchen sink stains not cleaned to a good standard. Toilet seat broken This work should of been completed before my holiday They have a cleaner and caretaker who should be maintaining the property. I shouldn’t have had to raise the maintenance issues and I certainly wouldn’t stay in the property again The owner expected me to these things sorted while on my holiday and when I refused the owner insisted it to be done Monday Wednesday and Friday workers interrupted mine and my little girls holiday The owner had to contact me to arrange work to be done 3 visits from tradesman to fix all the issues had to take time out of my holiday to let the workers in and fix

We had a very calm and cozy stay in January!

The house is beautyfully furnished, quality log burner, the heating works very well and propane was refilled automatically (?). Very good internet and of course the beautiful surroundings!!! Lots of written material on hiking and paper maps in the cottage! Loved that! Owner seems to have acted on issues mentioned in other reviews, we were ok with the double bed. The road close by was not a problem, no cars after 7pm :) Good public transport connection.

We absolutely loved our stay at Artro View.

It exceeded our expectations. The cottage had everything we needed for our holiday. We felt so at home there, that we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely week in Wales and managed to explore lots of local areas.

The cottage is in a beautiful location. Just a few things let it down. The cleanliness was below average in comparison to other rentals we have stayed in. The facilities were disappointing in that the WiFi did not work for the latter part of the week and the spa bath didn't work. Several lights didn't work and the remote controls for the various TV's also didn't work. The cooker hood fan also didn't work. Many of the maintenance issues had been reported by previous tennants but nothing had been done about them. There was a lot of different kitchen pots/pans etc but a lot were dirty and old which put us off using them. We felt like just a small amount of tlc could really make a difference in this house. The bathroom and kitchen both need to be re-sealed. And a general de-clutter in the whole house as some areas were quite dusty and musty. There was a jigsaw which had missing pieces which was also disappointing and the garden area was cluttered and overgrown. The lounge/dining area was a lovely space and the settee was really comfortable. Later on in the week we discovered some equipment for the beach (body board, skimming board etc) which i think should be advertised as being available, perhaps in a welcome pack and the ability to hang some clothes outside but under cover was also really useful. The shower was a good, powerful shower. There are many good things about this property and the location and we feel it has the potential for so much more. Thank you.

Had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful cottage in a great location with easy access to beaches and mountains of Snowdonia. We particularly enjoyed Harlech beach and a walk from the cottage to Nantcol waterfalls. We found the cottage to be clean and comfortable and hope to return soon.

Single mattresses are OK for young children but not really upto a teenager, and the single room had a couple of unidentifiable marks.

On the whole the place was clean and tidy and perfectly acceptable. We are fully conscious of the fact that its the end of the season and iam sure its been a busy one. The neighbours were lovely and helpful. We will be back again.

Oven not the cleanest - we only reheated part baked bread - perhaps it is due a deep clean after busy summer. No instructions on real fire in lounge - ie would we be responsible to clean it ? Technical items - worked well - tv . Alexi wyfi Thank you

When we arrived the cottage had quite a few cleanliness and maintenance issues.

Blood on mattress protector, dirty, greasy oven and trays, windows dirty inside and out, dirty toilet brush and holder, dirty bathmat, bucket full cigarette ends under patio table, messy backyard, rail in bedroom broken, cracked glass panels in window,piece broken glass in bedroom drawer, no plug in kitchen sink. It was a shame we spent the first few hours after a long journey trying to sort these things out. Phoned sykes who were helpful and arranged another clean. Cleaners turned up the next morning and threw toilet brush and bathmat away. Tried to clean oven and trays as best they could, this is where a plug was needed in sink as the trays don't fit in sink bowl. They cleaned over and it felt fresher afterwards. They told us they're not responsible for any windows and outside cleaning. We managed to fix the clothes rail but it needs new one as it sways when clothes are hung. I spoke to the owner who said she was unaware of the cleaning problems and will sort maintenance issues out at a later date. Fresh flowers were left in cottage and the owner kept bringing them up but it's no good leaving fresh flowers if you're not concentrating on the cleanliness, the money on flowers would be better spent on other things. The cottage has alot of potential to be alot better, it has no identity with mismatched furniture and with a few tweaks could be much better. The area is outstanding beauty with glorious beaches. We visited Harlech, caernarfon Castle, Portmeirion,Shell Island. Had lovely meals in Norbar few times and Nineteen 57.

The shower curtain was very dirty and all the food and recycling bins should have been emptied, we ended up bringing our rubbish home!

Stairs carpet could do with a clean and a bigger tv wouldn’t hurt, otherwise it was okay

Everything you need is there home from home. Ideally situated to visit the surrounding areas

Nice cosy cottage in rural setting.

Clean and comfortable. Most of the amenities provided. Easy to check in. The only irksome thing was that no toiletries provided and no mention in the confirmation of booking to bring own. Nice coffee shop and pub at walking distance

Lovely cosy cottage, perfectly located for exploring the area.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spa bath, Netflix, prime and the board games were a great way to spend the evening after a day exploring. The pub was very welcoming and the food was lovely. The village shop is stocked with everything you may need. We would love to return one day.

It was the perfect location just a short drive from Harlech or Barmouth for the beaches. The pubs in Llanbedr served excellent food and the little convenience store was also handy. Had all of the facilities needed for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend to others and we hope to go back again some day.

Beautiful cottage, alot bigger than we thought it would be, perfectly cleaned and ready to start our holiday.

Surroundings and walks are amazing. Would highly recommend. Didnt connect to internet as we were there to enjoy the surroundings.

Cottage was lovely had all facilities we needed however only drawback was no Wi-Fi and parking was not good or designated and on returning had to park down the road on many occasions so could not see our car all the time and road very busy.

Cottage was lovely, well appointed and cosy, yet with plenty of space for our group of two adults and two 17 old boys.

Lovely cottage, situated in a great location.

Road was a little busy it's on, but you could hardly hear the traffic unless you had the windows open obviously. We found a parking space every evening. Further down the road on the right was a car park you could turn around in too which was handy as the roads are narrow all around the area. Cottage had all the amenities you need. Even foil, cling film and cleaning products too which was great! There was a little shop just over the bridge which was handy. It would be good if the TV wasn't flat against the wall but able to swivel as difficult to watch from both sofas. We like to watch movies in the evening after a busy day exploring. We visited Barmouth, Harlech, Portmerion, Beddgelert and Porthmadog! There is a lovely waterfall about 5 mins around the corner too in the car! It's expensive to park near the beaches, costing around £5+ for the day, but a few machines you could download an app and pay on which was handy given you didn't have to find change! It's better to pre-book tickets for Harlech Castle and Portmerion too. Harlech Castle was mandatory to book before you went due to Covid too. It's worth doing for Portmerion to avoid queuing! We walked past a big queue of people waiting.

Great cottage in perfect location for exploring coast and mountains.

Two small items. The shower head doesn't fit the holder and needs replacing. There are lots of cheap knives in the kitchen and none of them are sharp.A couple of sharp knives would be good. Otherwise, fantastic
