Ruth the owner was amazing had a problem with hottub she came out sorted it not a problem, upstairs bathroom on the small side ,shower room downstairs really good ,cooker on bigest ring kept going out and we seen it in comments left in guest book ,overall realy stunning views peaceful, and for food Hafan artro opposite site we booked but when we got in they couldn't find the booking place was really dated and so was the food,but the Victoria inn just a short stroll was amazing we've had food at lots of places over the years have to say the Victoria is definitely top 2 .

The lodge was beautiful, well maintained, well equipped- even with extra blankets, games, books and movies.

The owner had emailed- as she always does with last minute reminders, key information etc. The lady who owns the lodge is wonderful and on hand (by phone) the whole time we were away if needed. Beautiful lodge, and location.

Robin Lodge was perfect.

The location is great for amazing walks right from the doorstep, or for using as a base to explore further afield. Situated between Harlech and Barmouth, both towns offer something different and both also have really nice sandy beaches and dunes. The lodge has everything you need to have a brilliant holiday. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Three was milk in the fridge and tea, coffee, Welsh cakes and delicious Bara Brith waiting for us. The hot tub is great to unwind in after a long day exploring the local area, and is under cover so you can still use it in the rain. The games area is a nice touch and gives space for people to do their own thing if you need it. The owner, Ruth, was very helpful before and during our stay and answered my many questions very promptly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The local pub, the Victoria Inn is very nice and serves good, tasty food. Shell Island is very close, it costs £10 for a car for the day but it’s worth it. The lodge is amongst several other lodges on site but there was very little noise from the other lodges at any time of day so it felt very peaceful. We would definitely recommend Robin Lodge and would love to come back and stay again.

This lodge was spacial and clean with really nice views.

The owner had put everything that was needed for a home from home stay, from cleaning products, washing machine and dishwasher tablets, toilets rolls to last the week, some beautiful Welsh cakes for us try, which were lovely. The cupboards were filled with books and games and the games room was a hit with our children. Absolutely lovely owner and lodge which made for a perfect holiday! Thank you Ruth!

We had a lovely stay at Robin lodge unforunately with the heat we could have done with some fans in the bedrooms as some of us didn't sleep too well.

But I know we are not used to this sort of weather in this country

Lovely clean well equipped lodge in a great location.

We had a problem during the week with the hot tub due to the extreme hot weather and the owner couldn't have been more helpful, resolved the issue within a few hours.

Property was spotless and well furnished.

A lovely touch was having things, such as dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, foil, washing pods, etc all provided. We literally wanted for nothing! A lovely, relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay. Thank you.

Wonderful holiday.

The Lodge is as described, in a pretty and quiet location. Llanbedr village is short walk away (less than 5 mins) where there is a local shop for essentials, a sandwich/coffee shop, pub on the river and a small hotel. Good location for exploring the coast, Snowdonian mountains and inland lakes etc. The property seems well run, we have stayed here before and the owner is quick to respond to any queries. We do recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge is spacious and in a great location for exploring.

We plan to return.

Lodge was ideal for the 6 of us. Location was great and in the middle of all the activities. Hot tub was perfect after climbing snowdon. Would definitely recommend.

The property is set on a small peaceful site.

It was lovely to have a welcoming tray of tea/coffee and cake when we arrived after a long car journey there. Although it is comfortable and homely-it could do with a few little repairs to the windows as they weren’t the easiest to open and close. This didn’t affect our stay though. The owner was very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble and she was only a call or texted away. A plus was having the little things like foil, bin bags, dishwasher and washing machine tablets supplied-all of these things were well stocked.

Generally we were really happy with the lodge, it was spacious and very well equipped.

On the first day we realised the coffee machine didn’t work but this was replaced by Ruth the next day and she popped some icecreams in the freezer too which was a lovely touch. The only complaint (and it’s not really a complaint) was with the hot tub. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to temperature for our arrival at 4pm, but it was ready by 9ish. I’m not sure if the filter didn’t work very well but there always seemed to be little black bits floating in the hot tub and it didn’t seem to be 100% clean. The kids weren’t bothered though and the hot tub was enjoyed by them all! We would definitely return and recommend.

My partner got blisters all over his skin as what ever chemicals were used were way too strong. It made our eyes water they were that strong. Left the lid open for 2 days but still got a bad skin reaction when we thought I'd was ok to go in. It wasn't the cleanest of properties either but you make do. The Hot Tub was really bad though

This was our second stay at Robin Lodge, and it was just as good as the first.

It's in a beautiful area and the lodge is very inviting. The owner is very nice and introduces herself via email a few days before arrival with useful information on the lodge and area plus she recognised this was our second stay which made it feel more personal. We highly recommend Robin Lodge if you want a quiet site in a great location. We plan to return.

Lovely and cosy cottage.

Has a very warm and welcoming feeling. The hot tub is a very welcome addition, especially after a day of trekking and exploring the surrounding landscapes. Detailed instructions to the cottage, use of utilities and areas of interest to explore are well documented in the folder. The downsides we faced were very minor and did not in anyway dampen our holiday experience. I am sure the owner will make note and sort this out. She is very proactive and keeps in touch. No shampoo/bodywash starter packs and no electric charger in washrooms for electric shaver/toothbrush - despite being a premium listing. Some pots and pans need updating as the protective non stick coating is deficient in places. The main issue we faced was charging of our electric vehicle. Llanbedr has no charging facility. The one in the airfield is non functional, hence we had to charge our vehicle in Porthmadog. We found 2 fast chargers (50 KW) in the train station car park, which was very useful. The closest TESLA supercharger is in Aberystwyth. I will still give it a five star rating because it is conveniently located in a tranquil surrounding and the issues I have highlighted can easily be surmounted as long as you are aware of them.

We had a wonderful stay, the lodge was just as we had hoped and in a beautiful area. We were contacted by the owner a few days before arrival with useful information on Robin Lodge and the area, we appreciated this personal touch and it made us feel welcome. We hope to return.

Ruth kept in contact with us to ensure we had everything needed for our stay. The Lodge is beautiful, well furnished and has all the equipment stated on the description. The hot tub was perfect and the instructions were easy to follow. It has such a cosy feel to it.I would happily stay her again.

The lodge was clean, comfortable and a perfect place to unwind in after busy days of exploring and activities. The Victoria Inn was only a 5 minute walk and provided friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices.

Had a fab week very well aquiped only fitting it needs a stair rail on other side because when you walk up it hard at top we are all in our 60 /70 all found the same apart from that fantastic .

It is so warm, cosy and comfortable and situated in a perfect location. A walk to the waterfall via a few friendly pubs or a visit to Harlech or Barmouth by car. The festive touches in the Lodge and the mulled wine, welsh cakes etc were a very much appreciated added bonus. Communication was brilliant too. We love visiting your Lodge very much and can't wait to return. Many thanks again

Well run, well organised and helpful in the face of any problems

The property was as we'd hoped, well equipped and cosy.

The only thing we found was the sofas were not comfortable.

Amazing lodge very very clean , my girls loved it especially the hot tub .

We had an amazing time in wales , information leaflets in lodge very helpful . The pub opposite very friendly and food was good also the pub a short walk away was good too.Lodge is very cosy , good location. Good choice of dvds to watch. Would recommend and definitely would book robin lodge again.

We stayed in Robin lodge over the new year, and honestly couldnt fault anything, I booked the lodge for my wife's 40th.

. From the moment we walked in, it was relaxing, warm, and very clean. The lodge is very well equipped from the kitchen to the family games, flavoured coffee, and the hot chocolate. Even the dinner table set up ready for Christmas. We've stayed at a fair few lodge over the years, but this 1 trumps them all. The site it's self is clean and very quiet. You dont feel overlooked. Honestly, I don't think there isn't anything Kevin could do more to make this last week any more magical and special, infact we've already booked again for the same time next year...

We have just returned from a wonderful break at this Lodge.

The owners provided us with everything we could possibly want and more for the perfect Christmas getaway. The surrounding area has lots of lovely places to visit and the pubs within easy walking distance were a bonus.

The property with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms was ideal for our stay.

It was comfortable and well presented. We hope we can book this property again. We would like to thank the property owner(s) for contacting me with helpful advice. FULL MARKS DESERVED. Thank you.

This will be shared with the property owner. What a lovely place to stay very happy the lodge was clean even the bedding smelt like home and not industrial washing. The pillows were Plump I was so happy as I forgot to bring mine as I'm afussy pillow person but the towels provided whilst clean and fluffy they wouldn't go round a 10 year old child The lodge was so thoughtful for rainy days dvds books games all in lovely condition its been a while since I posted a very positive review lovely just wonderful and yes the hottub was a huge hit not a rubbish tub a really well looked after clean tub See you again thank you

Lovely place to stay with good facilities, we really enjoyed our family holiday with our grandchildren.

Didn't sleep very well as the mattresses were too soft and could have done with a sharp kitchen knife.
