The weather helps , so a really enjoyable short stay ,Pwllheli is pleasant town and well placed to visit Portmeirion and other attractions.

Ev charging can be a little hit and miss, there are four in the local sports centre, 7kw only but they work .

Property and owners second to none.

Would not book through Sykes for this or any other holiday. Sykes have no compassion are unhelpful and not a company I would ever deal with again, shame on you!

Lovely property in a great location, but afraid we found the beds very uncomfortable, so sleeping was not great.

The main bed is like lying on a soft sponge with very little support, the other two doubles were rock hard. We were informed about an issue with the TV, but it didn't cause us any issues, but grateful we were warned and didn't have to find out ourselves. Would have been nice to get some form of welcome pack and better information on the local area. We would recommend the property but definitely needs to look at the beds.

Lovely, clean and spacious, quiet surroundings but a short walk into town with all the amenities and supermarkets.

The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning and the beach is just across the (non-busy) road.

Views from the balcony and main bedroom were amazing. I would highly recommend this property for the high standards and location to all amenities and especially the beach. This is somewhere we would definatley love to stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thankyou so much for the experience.

A beautiful townhouse in a perfect spot.

Had everything you could possibly need. Very well equipped, super clean, and very comfortable. High quality fixtures and fittings and such a restful, relaxing atmosphere. The views are beyond compare. We contacted the owner for help and the response was very quick. We are grateful that the owners allowed us to stay in their amazing home.

It's a lovely holiday house with great sea views in all weathers.

It's a windy part of Wales it the scenery is amazing. The house felt like home and was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Was sad to leave Welymora, as was the relaxing break I and my friends needed.

Stunning house with the best views anyone could ask for!

This is a big house and very homely with all mod cons and clean. On arriving at the house we were disappointed to find that the fridge/freezer was switched off. It was 20 degrees plus in the middle of a heatwave and we'd brought chilled food with us and driven for an hour and a half to find nowhere cool to put it. It took a good few hours for the fridge to get somewhat cool. The kitchen itself is very well equipped with everything we needed except pasta dishes. Perhaps we missed them but they would be a good addition. In the drawer under the hob was the rustiest wok I have ever seen and perhaps it should be disposed of. The sofa was one of the comfiest we've had in a holiday house and I'd really like the same one at home. The balcony decking is well past its sell by date and did let the luxury feel of the place down a bit but in spite of this we spent a lot of time sitting out on the balcony as it was such good weather. I'm sure Lynn the owner is aware and is maybe planning to renew it at some point which would elevate the look no end. I feel I have to mention the king size mattress in the master bedroom. We both deemed it unfit for purpose and only slept in that room one night. Never have we come across such an old, collapsed, dilapidated, stained mattress in any holiday let, hotel or b&b. You only have to sit on it and you're through to the bed frame. Not good. Hence we choose another bed to sleep in. The bathrooms are all of a high standard however as the bath does not have a handle of any sort we felt a bit unsteady getting in and out the one time we used it. The blue hand towel in the en-suite was a long way off the standard of the rest of the towels. It had one corner severely frayed and bleach stained. A little more attention to detail required. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location and wouldn't hesitate to book again despite a few negatives.

Convenient for the town centre

I have marked the accuracy of the listing down as the property is shown as being on an inland road on the map on the Sykes website whereas it is a beach front property on a quiet road with a great view of the sea.

Apart from that the property is listed accurately. Prior to our stay the owner contacted me to say the property would be available prior to 4pm which I really appreciated. All in all we had a very nice week in Welymora.

The property was lovely with stunning views.

On arrival we found Welymora was very clean and well furnished. The owners were very responsive to any questions that were raised. We will definitely return.

No problem for us but no where for doing hair and makeup in master bedroom could do with dressing table next to sockets.

Toilet push flush broke but did work.Minor detail but frying pans seen better days,all in all a very nice stay weather not on our side.

What a fantastic property.

We stayed for 1 week and loved every moment. The view from balcony was spectacular and a real sun trap. Would definitely return.

We were impressed with Welymora from the start.

The Kitchen is well planned with modern easy to use appliances including an Air Fryer which proved very useful. The balcony overlooks the sea and because it is south facing it is in full sun from first thing in the morning till early evening. Even though it was fairly chilly out and about, it was quite warm in the balcony. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and clean. Myself and my wife chose the double in the first floor as this gave us access to the garden which allowed us to let our dog out first thing in the morning. It also gave us almost instant access to the beach which was great for taking the dog for a walk (he has never been so clean after his many swims in the sea). My Mother & Father in law were extremely impressed with the accommodation, large screen TV, and the balcony in particular as well as the comfort and views from their bedroom with en-suite. There is a very nice Cafe down the road serving very good quality food at reasonable prices and there is a bar called the View which is also worth a visit. Lynn (owner) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Lynn. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and next time we are looking at Wales for our Holiday, Welymora will be number one on the list.

Our third stay at Welymora, great house in a great location for beach , town and everything.

Some lovely level walks. House well equipped, towels fantastic, large and fluffy. Right on the beach, we watched the dolphins swimming just off the beach, from the balcony. Nice glass fronted balcony, so if it’s windy you can get out of the wind. Great house for all ages, ground floor bedroom with doors to the garden. Great carport to leave your car. Which we hardly used, train station walking distance, start of the Cambrian line, most amazing train ride goes all the way down the coast to Aberystwyth. If your a fisherman, great fishing off the beach in front of the house . Couldn’t recommend more, one of the best places we’ve stayed for a beach holiday literally in front of the house. We hope to return again. Lynn owner is always great with communication, thank you Lynn for another great holiday.

Beautiful property right on the sea front, peaceful and relaxing.

Within easy walking distance to shops and not to many hills. Was so pleased to find an airfryer in the kitchen. The only thing I will say is that some of the mattresses are on the soft side, also the tv remote control could do with replacing the centre select button didn't work. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next year.

Beautiful house overlooking the beach .

The balcony was great to relax on and just listen to the sea rolling in. Not to far from the town centre for walks. Had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this holiday home.

Sun on balcony all day. The only thing I would suggest to future guests, take a fan, there isn’t one and if it’s really hot, the lounge needs a fan. We had a very hot week, you can buy one at the local B&M, walking distance. Besides that, we had a fantastic holiday, thank you Lynn

Right in the beach front you can practically fall out the door onto the sand!

Excellent property and location, easy walk from house to town or beach.

Very sheltered balcony with great view. Owner Lynn notified we could arrive early which was much appreciated. Observations not complaints, heating could have been set higher for our arrival and freezer turned on. Sink drains in bathroom and shower room need attention. Thanks for an enjoyable stay in a great property.

Beautiful house, very spacious, lovely and clean, decorated beautifully, fabulous views of the sea, only have to cross the road to the beach, peaceful surroundings, only a ten minute walk to shops, restaurants etc.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

A fabulous three storey house, very well-equipped and with stunning views from the living room and balcony on the top floor and from the main bedroom on the middle floor across the bay.

Lots of extras included such as games and toys. The shower room on the ground floor was useful for showering down on return from the beach which was a short walk across a fairly quiet road, although we gravitated towards the other beach a little further afield in Pwllheli. The only reason not to give it top marks was that the beds would benefit from more comfortable and better quality mattresses.

Brilliant location.

Well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Bright and clean. About 50m to the sand. 2 of the washbasin clic-clacs need replacing as they would go down but not back up so needed to be unscrewed to let the water drain away. That minor gripe aside I would come back here in a flash.

A lovely place to stay.

Right on the beach. Landlady Lynn most helpful. Plenty of room, 3 bathrooms for seven of us a bonus. Balcony view fabulous and fenced sea facing garden perfect.

A lovely property in a wonderful location.

It would be useful to have bins in the bathrooms and more information on the council bin collection. The drainage of the shower in the master bedroom and the sink in the downstairs bathroom was very slow. We would recommend this property, thank you.

Location was right opposite the beach. Town had every shop we needed, walking distance. I honestly couldn’t fault anything. Sykes you really need this upgrading to 5*. Better than other 5* Sykes properties we have stayed in. Great little touches like lovely hand soaps etc. I would recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely return. 4 great bedrooms. The convience of a downstairs bedroom was great. The master upstairs was amazing and the top floor with the ocean view. Great. Will be going again when able.

A fantastic week in a beautiful house!

Everything was perfect! Amazing property with everything you could wish for. Comfortable beds and sofas, multiple bathrooms (one with a fab deep bath for soaking in). Well equipped kitchen. A Smart TV was a real bonus too. The carport was a huge benefit ...as we were able to load/unload our car undercover when the weather was miserable. ...and the balcony was superb! Spacious, with amazing views. Although the February weather was a bit rough, we did manage to sit out there for a couple of coffees. And thanks to the huge sliding glass doors, you can also admire the views from your warm, cosy sofa too ☺️ I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will most certainly be staying here again. We didn't want to leave. Perfect. Thanks Lynn

I thought the house was beautiful and the location was sublime.

For me living so far from the sea it was lovely to go to sleep and wake up with that view of the sea.

This is an excellent property, where every thought is given to the visitor.

The house is beautifully furnished, and very well equipped, A TV in every bedroom (not mentioned in property description), was a welcome surprise, Situated on the seafront just outside of town, we found this property well placed for walking the dog on the beach , rounded off with a yummy breakfast at the beach front cafe, Huge thanks to owner Lynn who went the extra mile to provide us a great holiday from arrival to departure. We will be back!

Welymora is a fab holiday rental.

The house was as described on the listing, we were very happy upon arrival. Great location, lovely view from the balcony, very clean on arrival, well equipped house.

Welymora is a lovely place to relax, it has beautiful sea views.

The house was clean and tidy with everything we needed and couldn't be faulted. If you want something to do Glasfryn Parc has a splash obstacle course and Caernarfon is worth a visit. Criccieth and Porthmadog were also nice to visit.

Welymora is a lovely house perfect for large families.

3 bathrooms meant our Son & his family had their own bathroom. The position is amazing if you love the sea. Laying in bed hearing the sea as you go to sleep & sitting on the balcony watching the sea are both wonderful. Peaceful walks on the beach. All great.

The location of the town house for perfect for relaxed days on the beach and a great starting point to explore the beauties this costal area had to offer.

The house itself was perfect for what we needed with a dog and baby and the owner was brilliant. They had great recommendations and made sure the house was ready to allow a smooth transition with our baby. We would highly recommend this house and would look to revisit in the future to explore more of the areas we didn't get to this time around.

After the 2 year wait my family and myself were pleased to see the property was all and more we hoped for would go again loved everything about the house and location

Hallo das Feriendomizil war toll.

Es fehlten leider WC Bürsten und an 2 Duschen sind die Temperatureinstellung nicht korrekt. Die Kommunikation mit Sykes Cottage war es unbefriedigend. Es wurden in Coronazeiten die Fragen nicht beantwortet oder immer wieder irreführende Kommentare abgegeben.

Amazing accommodation, the closeness to the sea is excellent.

The property was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The covered car port is extremely useful. No downside and we have already booked for next year.

Kitchen cupboards dirty, plus some crockery.

Oven trays were disgusting. Supposedly equipped for 7 persons, lucky if you could make up unchipped/matching crockery for four. Tumblers just loads of oddments. Fridge dirty and freezer baskets had to be forced out because it hadn't been defrosted for years. Old food left in cupboards and freezer. Toaster dirty. Floors, carpets, windows, mirrors, bathroom towel rail dirty and lots of crumbs etc under sofa cushions. Lots of ( presumably owners) clothes etc left in wardrobes, including 2 chairs and 2 large foldup beds. Only one toilet brush between 3 bathrooms. So spent many hours first day cleaning then our holiday could begin. Have had Sykes holiday homes before and never had these problems.

The house location and facilities were fantastic and we will definitely recommend.

The only down side was not being able to contact anyone as the numbers provided did not reply to text messages or phone calls.

Fabulous place, the surrounding town walkable just, the sea views were mesmerising,everything you need for a great getaway would go again.

This was the best holiday let we have found so far using Sykes.

The house was ideally placed with fantastic views from the balcony of the whole beach and incredibly quiet being on the seafront. Inside it is modern and well furnished and has lots of space to relax. The service from Sykes is first class and so easy to deal with so would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a holiday let in the UK.

Lovely house right next to the beach, very clean and tidy, amazing sea view from balcony, only downside was house was extremely cold and took a couple hours to warm up.

A fantastic few day's wish it had been longer ,everything about the place was perfect the views the accommodation ,the house was kitted out with everything you could possibly want and more.

...and would be lovely just sitting on the balcony with a meal and drink in the summer still a bit chilly for that but would definatley go again ..

We were looking for a comfortable cottage to have a quiet weeks rest without too much excitement.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Welymora despite experiencing two storms - the position of the house actually made this quite exciting especially the views of the changing sea-states from the fantastic balcony which runs the width of the top-floor lounge - ideal for a photographer!

The house was warm, welcoming and very well equipped as well as being one of the cleanest holiday houses we’ve ever stayed in. Would certainly recommend this property and hope to revisit again ourselves too.

Can not speak highly enough about this property.

Only came home yesterday and a friend has booked for next year. Had a 15 and 18 year old with us along with a 72 year old, plus a pug. Perfect for all. In a perfect location, very quiet but only a short walk to amenities. Will definitely book again. Thank you Lynne.
