Beautiful place to stay, lovely and clean and very accommodating.

The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were lovely; clean and comfortable, and the garden was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing missing was cleaning supplies, so we had to buy our own to clean up the kitchen and bathroom etc after use, and the hoover didnt work very well, and the ironing board clip was broken so it wouldnt stand. Other than that, it was brilliant, and I would definitely book again

This is a lovely cottage, well presented by the owner.

Exceptional level of cleanliness. Also nice neat touches like milk, tea, coffee and sugar available on arrival, at least enough to get you through first 24 hours. And a welcome pack of treats as well. If we revisit North Wales we would definitely stay here if it's available.

The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable. Anyone with physical disability problems might find the stairs a little steep. Trawsfynydd is well placed for car touring of North West Wales and for walkers too.

I have never been in a holiday home which was so complete! Comfortable beds, good wifi and an amazing view and outside space. Loved every second and will be back!

The house and garden are perfect for a relaxing holiday with everything you need. The views and wildlife are an added bonus. This is our fourth time here we love it. Trawsfynydd is such a peaceful village and very welcoming with shop, chemist, pub and cafe.

A beautiful cottage with plenty of space.

Every little thing has been thought about and labelled. Everything is comfortable and homely. It's a little bit like Narnia in the sense of it looking like a standard Welsh cottage from the outside. You then step in and it is beautifully decorated and set up. Then you get to the ace card of the views out of the back window and garden. Stunning place. We would love to come back soon.

We had the most amazing time at this cottage.

When we got there I was surprised at how big it is inside. It’s done up so nice and looks very modern yet has the feel of a Welsh cottage. The front room is cosy and comfortable and we had so many options of things to watch on the television. The kitchen and dining area is gorgeous, I loved looking at the mountains whilst washing up. It has everything you need in there. The hall downstairs and upstairs is decorated so lovely and the carpet is so soft. At the top of the stairs was my favourite bit of the cottage, a window looking out to the lake and mountains, sometimes we could see the sheep out on the fields, it made me so happy looking out there every morning. The bathroom is lovely and has a big shower. There are three bedrooms, the smallest wasn’t actually small, it has a comfortable single bed, dressing table and the best view of the mountains. The middle sized room was lovely with a comfortable double bed, nice furniture and was very cosy. The biggest room has the softest and most comfortable bed I have ever been in, my bed at home feels boring now compared to that amazing King sized bed, I could see fields from my bed which sometimes had horses on. The garden is very relaxing and nice to sit outside. The cottage was so quiet and calm, we all said we would love to have it as our home and would move in straight away. Anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay I would highly recommend this cottage. The owner is lovely and came to check we had everything we needed. We did not want to leave this cottage and we are already looking at dates to come back there

Minffordd is a very good place to stay.

Everything you need is available. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. There was a lovely welcome hamper waiting for us. Very thoughtful and kind owners. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Eirlys for everything.

The minute we walked through the door to minffordd we all felt at home the kids loved it, clean and comfortable nice views plus very peaceful and quiet, definitely one I would like to go back to.

Super property, fantastic views, plenty of places to visit within half hour drive.

Great location for exploring North Wales. Garden is a great space, even in winter. With the lake and mountains behind it was so peaceful. Even with the odd chatty sheep. Not too much in the village itself. The shop is handy a short walk up the hill. Would recommend the Bryn Arms, Gellilydan for food. Enjoyed their carvery roast on Sunday a couple of times. Staff super friendly and it's only a 8min drive. Eirlys is a lovely host. We had a couple of small issues on arrival but were quickly resolved. Glad we got to meet you on the last day. Will be making Minffordd our home from home for our North Wales vacations.

It was our 3rd time here. The house is beautiful and the views stunning. We love the peace and quiet.

A lovely spot with a fantastic view at the back where there is seating and tables.

Cottage is clean and well equipped and beds were comfortable. Smart upstairs shower room .Local shop and pub serving food within a short uphill walk. Storage for 2/3 bikes in small outbuilding with access along the back of the other properties. Lots of things to see/do (at a price) and plenty of cycling / walking routes ( free).Friendly hosts.

Minffordd was absolutely perfect!

A comfy cosy cottage which had everything we needed for our weeks holiday. When we arrived, everything was spotlessly clean, and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and very much welcomed after our long drive. The views from the back garden were beautiful. It was lovely to meet owner Eirlys who stopped by to check everything was okay. We would definitely recommend Minffordd to anyone wanting to explore North Wales and Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). This cottage has everything you need and more! All the facilities you need while your away, just like being home from home, couldn’t fault anything! Great views out the back of the property of Trawsfynydd lake and situated just right to explore Snowdonia. Shop & pub nearby too so you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely back visiting again soon!

We stayed at Minffordd for a week in October, lovely warm and comfortable home, Friendly neighbours and the nice owner called by, We parked on the road outside the home all week , Much appreciated welcome pack, We sat in the front in the morning sun and the back in the evening sun, lots of walks nearby and from the home, We would stay here again, a great place.

A lovely house that has been well renovated in a lovely village Was very good that the little things were provided for that I have never seen in other houses I’ve rented.

Such as bin bags dish washer tablets etc. would highly recommend to others

The quiet village has a well stocked shop, and a welcoming pub. Parking was directly outside the cottage and there was always space.

Eirlys the host is welcoming and cannot be more helpful. The village is quiet which was perfect for us. Extremely close to many walks including the lake the property looks out on. The beds were very comfortable, all amenities required were provided. The welcome hamper was also very much appreciated. Thankyou again we really enjoyed our stay.

This was a great cottage to stay in whilst exploring the area.

It is a lovely cosy cottage, with everything you could possibly need. The views of the lake and surrounding landscape from the garden and back of the house are truly amazing. Whilst the village itself is really quiet it is a perfect base to get to all of the places to visit and we were glad of the peace and quiet after a day spent in more crowded areas. The local shop is well stocked and the staff really friendly and the parking in front of the property was perfect. We had a great welcome pack when we arrived which was really appreciated and the cottage owner was really lovely, checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. We had a fantastic holiday and look forward to returning at some point to explore further.

The welcome hamper was the best we’ve ever received and we were particularly impressed with how the kitchen was equipped. The cottage is located very centrally and there are more than enough activities to keep everyone entertained.

We had a wonderful week at Minfford cottage!

The cottage was beautiful and cosy and had everything we needed, thank tou to the lovely owners. Wonderful views across to Trawsfynydd Lake even in the rain. You get the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere and yet striking distance to towns and activities. We enjoyed walking around the lake, a visit to Harlech beach and the Castle, walking in Coed y Brenin forest Park and coffee and shopping in Porthmadog. There is a friendly shop in the village and a fish and chip van comes on a Monday evening. We would definitely recommend Minffordd and Trawsfynydd.

The cottage was really well furnished with everything you could possibly need.

The views from the kitchen/garden are beautiful and it was lovely to sit out and eat.The owners left us a great hamper with wine and goodies which was really appreciated.They are really considerate and concerned that everything in the house was useful and asked if we needed anything else to contact them.We didn’t,it was all perfect.The area is a good location to explore the north of Wales.We would definitely return.

Beautiful, comfortable spacious accommodation with indoor and outdoor space of a very high standard. Well equipped throughout and kitchen has an under the counter fridge plus 3 drawer freezer, ideal for a week self-catering. Extremely friendly hosts. Loads of activities available to do with kids within easy driving distance.

Exceptionally furnished and decorated house in a great location with extremely friendly hosts that could not do enough for you.
