I’ve been many times and really enjoyed my stays at Ael y Don.

It is such a lovely quiet location. Good parking and easy access for loading and unloading. This time was no exception but some minor issues occurred: the fridge needed defrosting, maybe need to check the fridge on change over day. A gentle warning to other dog owners - the garden isn’t completely dog proof for one that likes to escape so I had to have mine on a long lead but lots of lovely grass to play on. As I get older and with back and shoulder pain, the double bed mattress is too hard for me. In the kitchen, the Pyrex dishes need sorting into proper bowls with lids that fit rather than having odds and ends, it would make using the microwave much simpler but the new microwave and dishwasher worked very well. However for some reason I couldn’t figure out, the TV stopped getting terrestrial stations, so I resorted to my iPad - the WiFi is very reliable. My comments are not made to offend but as suggestions for improvements. The view is glorious, I saw the dolphins in the bay for the first time and the deck is the perfect place to soak up the sun, enjoy my morning coffee and read a good book. A wonderful place to relax.
