“Our second stay at the farm, this time at Gaerau Bach.”

The cottage was fantastic , wonderfully clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The welcome food pack was a nice little surprise! Amazing sea views and our only neighbours were the cows. We were blessed with cooler weather after the heatwave so managed lots of trips out and about, including the walk across the footpath to the harbour and sea. Sara was a prefect host and we will definitely be retuning to the farm next year!

Such a lovely place inside has been done beautifully, beds are comfy, brilliant showers, and what a lot of places don’t have are comfy sofas, what can I say about the outside fantastic views, great patio areas, dog friendly completely walled off,the hot tub tops it off, loved seeing the cows everyday, Harlech just over a mile & Barmouth 8 miles, pubs near by, had a great week, A wonderful place to stay

It's been thoughtfully and really sensitively converted, keeping all of its character. Top notch facilities throughout with everything thought of for a comfortable stay. The owners are lovely and on hand to quickly sort any issues. The views are spectacular and with the hot tub, you can't fail to relax. Secure garden for our dog, with cows and tractors for him to watch for entertainment and walks from the door. A perfect getaway in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you

“Absolute gem of a place.”

We booked this cottage for our honeymoon and we were lost for words when we arrived, it is breathtaking. A lovely cosy cottage surrounded by amazing views. Waking up to cows was a highlight for us with two small children. The cottage has everything you’ll need and the hot tub is the cherry on top! We will definitely be back in the future!!

The views alone are worth the visit—truly breathtaking and something we never got tired of. The house is exceptionally well-equipped, with all appliances being top quality, making everything feel effortless and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing while taking in the peaceful surroundings. We were especially lucky with the weather, spending our evenings sitting and watching stunning sunsets with a glass of Prosecco in hand—hard to beat that. The whole place has a calm, tranquil atmosphere that makes it ideal for switching off and unwinding. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of luxury

It's a beautiful cottage, lovely and cosy with beautiful views down to the sea. We loved watching the sunsets in the hot tub! We followed the public footpath opposite the end of the drive down to the beach. There was a thoughtful welcome basket, which was a lovely touch. We hope to come back again soon! Thank you so much for creating such a lovely cottage!

“I needed to speak to the host a few weeks before our stay and from our conversation I could tell that we were going to have a lovely time.”

Nothing was too much trouble and I felt like we were going to stay withy family. The cottage did not disappoint on arrival. Clearly signposted and access arrangements all easy. The cottage is a beautiful barn conversion, completed to a high standard and with more than adequate equipment and facilities for a comfortable stay. The views are stunning and the cottage feels secluded, yet is close to a number of places to visit. The beds are very comfortable and the rest of the cottage is really well fitted out. The hot tub was the biggest hit and we also loved that we could bring our dog and she was safe in the enclosed garden. Highly recommended for families, friendship groups or couples looking for a lovely relaxing break in quality accommodation.

“This place is absolutely stunning.”

Very luxurious. Everything you need. Beds were so comfy and had a great sleep. So quiet and peaceful. The views were amazing and spent alot of time sitting out on the lovely patio furniture. Observing the views of Shell Island and watching the bull, cows and calves in the field. The garden was safe a secure for our dogs. Not along drive to the nearest beaches. And to the fantastic pub The Victoria which serves great food..Will definitely be back one day. Thank you.

“Lovely house to stay in.”

The place was clean and tidy and we had a very comfortable week. Enjoyed the hot tub.Some lovely places to eat especially the Victoria Inn just a couple of minutes along the road. Only thing we could of done with was a clothes airer to dry things indoors when the weather was wet. We didn't find one in the house.

felt totally private and was not overlooked. The view was stunning and the outdoor area just great gets the sun right through the day. We had everything we needed. The kids loved watching the cows in the field next door and got very excited when they came up to the gate! Only piece of equipment we could have benefitted from was fan for the upstairs bedroom as it was really warm up there! mind it was 27 degrees outside! We would definitely return without hesitation.

“We loved our stay at Gaerau Bach - just gutted it was only 3 nights.”

The accommodation is exactly as it is on the website. This is not a criticism but it might be useful to mention the steps down into the dinning room/kitchen - we took my 94 yr old M in L for a break - she did manage the 2 steps with her stick - but I was not aware of this until we arrived. She loved it by the way and was amazed at the property and the amazing view. Thank you - we hope to revisit.

This is definitely a bright and airy ‘tardis’ experience, such a well designed layout of this basic ancient building, the muted colour scheme echoing the earthy hues of this magnificent structure that is your holiday cottage ! Everything supplied is quality (especially the view!) Gaerau Bach has it all! Definitely our favourite cottage ever!

“Beautiful gem of a cottage with the most amazing view.”

The weather was truly spectacular which made the holiday. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after being out and about. Everywhere was clean and we really didn't want to leave. Just a few points for consideration:- - the bed upstairs in the cottage was very uncomfortable ..the mattress was very thin and although a mattress topper was placed on top of the mattress this made no difference. However the bed downstairs had a completely different mattress ..and more comfortable. - no bin bag was left in one of the bins and no spare were left so we had to purchase some. - only one washing up cleaning cloth was provided ..I bought along my own however useful to have a few spare. - no cleaning product provided - no welcome pack ..in every cottage we have stayed we have always been provided with a small welcome pack..i.e little bottle of milk..biscuits or a bottle of wine/Prosecco etc - the clothes airer (pink) was broken - umbrella did not fit the umbrella stand so we were unable to use The above are only minor points but thought it would be useful for the owner.

Many thanks for your suggestions. We have bought a new mattress for the upstairs bed, airer, umbrella stand. We now provide more bin bags, cleaning products and extra dish cloths. Unfortunately due to the Welsh government, i would need a food hygiene certificate and a alcohol licence, to provide a welcome pack Property Owner

“Thank you for a great stay at your beautiful cottage.”

Comfortable, cosy, clean, modern and spacious, with all the amenities you would need. Beds were very comfortable, with power showers in the bathrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The view from the terrace over the bay is outstanding and, as we were blessed with excellent weather, it was a great place to sit and enjoy a meal and a nice glass of wine. We only stayed for four nights, which really was not long enough. Next time we are planning to stay longer. Many thanks

“Well equipped, comfortable cottage in a beautiful area.”

Overlooking Harlech beach, a stones throw away from historic Harlech and on the edge of Snowdonia. The house itself was great, a well equipped kitchen, 2 good sized en suite bedrooms, a sizeable sitting room and a great outdoor seating area. Good quick response from the hosts when we had a minor maintenance issue. Recommended.

Plenty of space and comfort . A great outdoor space for our dog and the hot tub was a fab addition . Wonderful views and location to white sand beaches close by .
