    “Fantastic stay this cottage is absolutely stunning with everything you could possibly need !”

    We took our three older sons and our in laws and it is really hard to satisfy everyone but this cottage done the job ! Games room with the pool/snooker table and all the games including Pac-Man were a hit ! As well as all the books which our eldest loved ! The hot tub was lovely the scenery was fantastic and Gus was a real favourite. Lovely owners and a real gem of a property x

The property

Ruthin 5.6 miles.Tucked away on the outskirts of Cyffylliog near Ruthin, Denbighshire, is this superb four-bedroom barn conversion, The Stables At Cae Gwyn.

Enjoying a fabulous location on a working farm, with exceptional country views and an abundance of lambs in March and April, the interior boasts a wealth of original features, including exposed beams and attractive furnishings.

The property benefits from ample off-road parking, an enclosed side garden with bench seating, perfect for savouring the breath-taking views with your morning coffee, and a rear garden with bubbling hot tub, barbecue and furniture, ideal for evenings spent dining alfresco.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen/diner, where you can rustle up tasty dishes ready to enjoy at the dining table for eight over bottles of celebratory fizz.

RUTHIN

Llangollen 12 miles; Bala 18.5 miles; Chester 25 miles; Betws-y-Coed 30 miles.

The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.
