    “Parking wasn’t a problem but maybe in high season it would be.”

    To park on the Green we were told by the ticket attendant for 1 week is £40 not the £12 stated in the information book. The size and location of property was ideal but we had a few issues. The TV. signal was poor and kept freezing or dropping out. Cleanliness was our biggest issue the toilet had not been cleaned and was quite disgusting. The underside of the pedal bin in the kitchen was very dirty, oven cloth had food stuck on it. Toaster had not been cleaned also draws and cupboards had not ...

The cleaning cupboard in the bedroom was not locked it contained empty and partly used cleaners in. Mattress was stained in main bedroom. We felt the property overall needed a lot of TLC.

    I’m sorry to hear that you encountered issues during your stay, but am disappointed that you did not contact us at the time (as per the email that all guests receive from us prior to their stay) as I would have done my best to rectify the issues that you raised in this feedback. Unfortunately, the cost of parking on The Green is beyond our control, but I was pleased to hear that you did not need to use this facility. I will update our welcome folder accordingly to reflect the price change. With regards to the tv signal, I have since contacted a tv aerial engineer who told me that many properties in Beaumaris encounter this issue, due to all aerials pointing towards Winter Hill. During high pressure days, this causes the signal to freeze or drop out. It does state in the welcome folder that there can be issues with the signal, but for clarity, I will add this additional detail. I can only apologise that you found the cleaning cupboard to be unlocked. I will liaise with the housekeeper to ensure that this does not happen again, however given that it was clearly marked ‘private’ I was surprised you looked inside. The property

A delightful, semi-detached cottage superbly located in the seaside village of Beaumaris, on the Menai Straits in Anglesey.

Providing bright, stylish and welcoming accommodation with a seaside feel and luxury touches throughout, Cobblers Cottage is ideal for a special holiday with family and friends.

Entering through the long hallway, which opens into a spacious sitting room with dining area, guests will enjoy the characterful woodburning stove on chilly days, which adds a cosy, relaxed atmosphere.

A small step leads down into the superb kitchen, fully equipped for all your holiday needs with classic units, beech block counter top and fitted appliances.

Upstairs, double doors open into the master bedroom, which is an impressive size, stretching the width of the cottage with double windows and twin chandeliers, and a feature fireplace shouldered by fitted wardrobes.

The further two rear bedrooms are stylishly finished with a double bed in one and a single bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed to make a twin if required.

The modern bathroom enjoys a designer finish, with a double-ended bathtub, a separate corner shower.

Outside, French doors lead from the dining room onto an enclosed patio where you can spend an afternoon planning tomorrow's adventure.

If you fancy a night away from the kitchen then you'll be spoilt with options nearby, with a different restaurant choice for every night of your holiday, along with numerous welcoming pubs where you can share stories with the locals.

Within a short stroll you'll find yourself on the banks of the Menai Straits with access to miles of coastal footpaths, leading to Penmon Lighthouse, unspoilt beaches, hidden coves and superb sailing and fishing opportunities from the town's jetty.

Perhaps catch a sightseeing boat to Puffin Island, or enjoy the exhilaration of a rib ride along the Straits.

There's something for everyone to enjoy from this beautiful Beaumaris cottage, which will welcome you back in comfort and style at the close of each busy day.

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
