“We felt well satisfied with the high standard, cleanliness & impressive character of this accommodation.”

The combination of 2 car capacity parking in such a conveniently central but quiet location in lovely Beaumaris was also most welcome.

Centrally positioned within the historic town of Beaumaris, this enchanting 19th century chapel conversion is ideally situated for exploring the best of the Isle of Anglesey.

Boasting Italianate charm from its influence of Evan Thomas, this listed building now stands as an impressive holiday base for you and your loved ones.

Walking through the traditional chapel doors will lead you into the sitting room, a plush and spacious area to retreat to with a book, or to gather with your loved ones to spend quality time with one another; this floor presents you with exquisite, traditional wonders from its ornate ceilings and columns.

The ground floor is also home to a double bedroom, serviced by a sparkling and contemporary-styled bathroom, offering the perfect layout for guests to come along and enjoy the gems of Wales.

Head up one of the two original gallery staircases and onto the first floor where you will be greeted by an impeccable open-plan living space; with a kitchen holding every appliance you could think of, a traditional dining area, and an ample seating space for everyone to retire to in the evenings, this room is truly the heart of the holiday home.

Moving up to the second floor will lead you to the further two bedrooms; a twin with an interlinking double and an en-suite shower room, this spot is ideal for those with small children or simply anyone who wants to appreciate the stunning views of the town and Snowdonia National Park from the skylights, making a great spot to watch the world go by.

Ty Biwmares provides off road private parking for two cars within the entrance courtyard, a rarity in Beaumaris.

On your doorstep you will find one of the most renowned bakeries on the whole of the Isle of Anglesey, offering you delicious foods to be enjoyed on the go to explore the wonders of Beaumaris.

With its many eateries and shops, and array of historical and cultural delights such as a castle, goal, Victorian pier, museum, and art gallery, the local area guarantees hours of fun for all.

About the location

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
