Ty Biwmares

We had a wonderful short break at Ty Biwmares.

We found the house immaculately clean on our arrival and had a fantastic welcome basket complete with a bottle of prosecco! There was also milk in the fridge. Such a thoughtful gesture. We had brought our own supplies but we found coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher tablets, salt, vinegar and even washing pods for the washing machine. There was also handwash supplied in both bathrooms. The bed linen and towels were all of good quality and were lovely and clean. The bath towels supplied were a little on the small side but that is just my personal preference. The house was very accurately listed. We were a family spanning three generations. My elderly parents took the ground floor bedroom. The ground floor bathroom suited them nicely with a walk-in shower. The first floor open plan kitchen and dining area was brilliant and we found ourselves congregating in there rather than in the large ground floor sitting room. We did not do any cooking during our stay but the kitchen was very well equipped and seemed to have everything that you might need. The second floor bedrooms and bathroom are in the roof space and as a consequence do get very warm. There are fans in those bedrooms and the skylight windows do open. There are also blackout blinds to all the bedroom windows which help with the solar gain to some extent. However, I would imagine in the height of summer the bedrooms must get very hot indeed. You do need to be a bit careful not to bang your head when you walk around in the second floor bedrooms. You can walk perfectly fine in the centre of the bedrooms but you need to duck to walk through the interconnecting doors and when you are near to the beds. It is made very clear in the listing but there are a lot of stairs. Overall we had a wonderful stay in this beautifully converted chapel. Thank you

Ty Biwmares is as spectacular and lovely as it looks in the listing, very comfortable and well equipped.

Right in town, not far to walk anywhere. Parking is a great advantage for this property. Would happily visit again.

Ty Biwmares was a lovely holiday home.

The first floor kitchen/living room was both dramatic and comfortable. It was a great space to chill out and the house was central to Biwmares it's pubs restaurants and the sea front. It's own parking was a real bonus. Thank you

Accommodation brilliant No problems Took FOR EVER to get in touch with the managing company over ev charging…and the call back never materialised.

This was our second stay at Ti Bimares, and everything was excellent again including the weather!

Such a great venue for exploring Beaumaris and it's good to have two parking spaces available. The chapel is very well equipped especially in the beautiful large kitchen Thank you for the proseco and biscuits. We hope to be back again next year if not sooner.

Property is very spacious and no expense has been spared in the renovation .

It is very convenient having seating in the kitcken/ dining room as well as the ground floor lounge. Furnishings, fittings, furniture, bathroom, kitchen are all of a very high standard, the lounge is spacious and very comfortable. Surprisingly warm, considering the size of the property. Lovely to have all amenities within walking distance.

This property was stunning.

The best self catering property we have been to. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Spotless when we arrived. A lovely welcome pack. Furnishings and fittings were beautiful , like a home from home.

We absolutely loved Ty Biwmares.

It was extremely comfortable and in a perfect location - just a couple of minutes walk (if that) to pubs, restaurants, shops etc. Very handy to have parking as well. The house was spotless when we arrived and the quality of appliances and furnishings were very good. Really appreciated the welcome basket and milk and fizz in the fridge. Beaumaris itself is a gem. Quite small but very friendly with everything on the doorstep. I can heartily recommend the Liverpool Arms and Sarisa Indian Kitchen for food. All in all it was a lovely break.

The accomodation was lovely, so much space.

The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was so comfortable. Highly recommended.

The combination of 2 car capacity parking in such a conveniently central but quiet location in lovely Beaumaris was also most welcome.

Ty Biwmaris is a great property.

I can’t think of a better place to visit Beaumaris. It’s situated right in the heart of the town, opposite the best bakery in town and just a minute from the high street and the seafront. The house has huge character and lots of room in the living areas. We stayed for Christmas to be near family (I grew up in Beaumaris just down the street!) and it was a lovely stay. The owners had put up a great Xmas tree and left us Chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco which went down very well. The lounge downstairs has a large, comfortable corner sofa (sometimes in rented properties I find the sofa space too small) which was lovely for cosying up to watch the TV. Please be aware that the kitchen and lounge area are on 2 different floors. It does say this is the description but just wanted to stress it again for anyone reading. If I had to make any recommendation at all, I would ask for low light/beside lights in the downstairs bedroom as the overhead alcove lighting was a bit too bright. I highly recommend this property.

Great property with plenty of living space in the spacious kitchen and dining area on the first floor and the living room on the ground floor- would have been good to have a working fire rather than marked not in use.

. Nice big bathroom with large shower and roll top bath ion ground floor adjacent to reasonable sized double bedroom. Other 2 bedrooms in attic space were cosy and very suitable for children. Low ceilings for tall adults. Kitchen was very well equipped and a great space for entertaining. Property is in the heart of Beaumaris and with 2 parking spaces ( v rare for the town!) it’s a great location. Overall would recommend.

We stayed at Ty Biwmares with our grandchildren and we all had a great time.

The location is great and we greatly appreciated having 2 parking spaces right in the middle of town - and a first class bakery just opposite to us. The conversion has been very well done and the property definitely has the wow factor. It is very spacious - especially the ground and first floors. It was very comfortable, light and airy. It would appear that no expense has been spared with the furniture, furnishings, kitchen appliances, crockery etc and this was greatly appreciated. There was space in abundance in the kitchen cabinetry. There is limited head room on the third floor but we were already aware of that. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely like to return to holiday again in the property and would recommend it to anyone visiting Beamaris.

Perfect location for the town and local shops; we really enjoyed taking advantage of everything the town had to offer!

Property was clean and tidy with one the most well equipped kitchens that we have ever stayed. Lovely decor and personal touches throughout that made the property feel very homely, and appreciation of the history of the chapel. Real advantage not only having the ability to park our 2 cars, but also charge our electric vehicle which was a real plus. Even though the weather was not great, the property helped make up for it with a perfect set up to be able to entertain and spend time with the family, regardless of the wind and rain outside. Thank you!
