Comfortable accommodation that was perfectly adequate for 6 adults.

Bedrooms were nice and spacious with lovely comfortable beds. We have a king-size bed at home and feel it’s important to have one when we go on holiday - it’s surprising how many places only have standard doubles! The kitchen was a great size and well equipped- the only complaint we had was that cooking was hindered by not having proper shelves in the oven. Six adults in one house need more than one bathroom, so the en-suite was very useful, as was the downstairs w.c. Additional comfort could be added by providing bath sheets rather than standard bath towels, which were a little small. There was a slight damp/ mould smell in the en-suite - probably caused by the people before us not using the extractor fan, which was turned off and took us a while to find the switch. The fireplace in the living room didn’t work, but the house is lovely and warm, and retains heat very well. We didn’t need to put the central heating on for heat, but needed it for drying clothes. I would suggest the property would benefit from having a dryer, in addition to the washing machine, considering how wet and rainy it is in North Wales! It’s very difficult to get clothes dry without one, especially as the weather was not kind to us. Overall we enjoyed our holiday. The property is in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of all the amenities in Beddgelert. The village itself is very pretty and has plenty of options for eating and drinking out.

The house was so well equipped. The location was great for walking & swimming in the river. The hosts were very friendly & welcoming. Would highly recommend

Lovely modern property in good condition situated in the centre of the village.

Close to all amenities. Had a wonderful stay. Only minor criticism: the front door lock is a bit difficult to open and close. Perhaps it needs replacing. Otherwise a fantastic property.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location - central for all of Beddgelert, off road parking available, and within half an hours drive (or so) of many beautiful Welsh towns.

The cottage is spacious, very comfortable, exceptionally well-equipped and very dog-friendly (our Labrador loved the dog bed so much we’re now buying him the same one!) - just be aware that dogs aren’t allowed upstairs. The owners are lovely, there to welcome us then available if needed - and the box of local beers, crisps, biscuits and chocolate were very welcome! We’d definitely return if exploring that part of Wales again.

The house is ideally positioned for some great scenery and spectacular walks. Beds extremely comfortable and lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Highly recommend.Hosts very friendly and helpful. Sunny aspect in the garden but still able to keep cool indoors in the warmest week of the year. Very impressive.

Craig-y-Llan is a lovely, modern cottage very conveniently situated right in the heart of the picturesque village of Beddgelert and makes it ideal for exploring Snowdonia and other parts of North Wales.

The cottage, one of 3/4 adjacent properties under the same ownership was ideal for us two and out two dogs and though generally well-equipped and more than adequate just for us one might struggle with crockery, cutlery and parking space if it was fully occupied by 6. The paved garden was secure for our two dogs though of course they liked to socialise with the dog in the neighbouring property! There are numerous good eateries in Beddgelert ranging from top notch pizza places to table d'hôte fine dining - not forgetting probably the best ice cream ever. We found everyone in Beddgelert most welcoming. Nearby there are plenty of walking opportunities for all levels and attractions such as Bodnant Gardens and Portmerion (but no dogs) less than an hour away. It was an excellent choice for our holiday stay this year and would unhesitatingly recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation.
