This is a lovely property with loads of character and looks pretty much like the photos in reality.
The owners were in touch with us before and after arrival to make sure everything was ok and key collection was easy. The garden is fabulous, less a garden and more a wander into the wild but we loved sitting outside. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and putting on the log burner was lovely in the cooler evenings. Minimal drawback was there is no washing machine, we got soaked through one day and it would have been good to be able to stick those items in for a wash but not a major issue. To be fair I just hadn't noticed on the listing the absence of one. Storage of some sort in the main bedroom would have been good, no drawers or wardrobe meant clothes in bags/ case on the floor which was untidy and lead to a couple of unfortunate spider issues. But again, a minor inconvenience. The beds are comfortable. Overall we loved our week here. Beddgelert is beautiful, the accommodation is in the heart of the village and I would happily recommend or return here.
