“Great homely cottage, perfect to see in new year.”

Lovely views out to the Irish Sea, and hot tub was a lovely addition to this property, as was the log fire which we loved !! The Christmas tree in the property was a really nice touch as was the little gifts they left. The property was really well designed and had a great social layout meaning we could all sit together in the evening and chat. “Upon arrival freezer was ajar as the bottom drawer wouldn't close due to too much ice I had to defrost and remove before I could use.”

The hot tub had quite a bit of debris in upon use. The blinds in the kitchen and front bedroom need a thorough clean,build up of dust. Garden furniture cushions were all wet and when moved there was a swarm of woodlice,the cushions on the furniture haven't been cleaned for a while despite being removable. The top stair on the way down from the hot tub is in need of desperate repair it slopes down when you stand on it.Also it needs balistraids adding to avoid a fall through the very wide gap. This is our 3rd time at this cottage and this year it was a disappointment.It needs maintenance and a thorough deep clean.We will not be returning a 4th time as next year our stay has increased by nearly £1000 and the property doesn't justify £3200.We are saddened at this as we loved it especially the 1st & 2nd year and Bentley the dog was over the moon.Year 1 there was even sky/cable TV,and for the price increase that should b standard. Also there were stains on the skirting board n lower wall facing the bathroom as though drinks have been spilled.Certainly not up to the usual standard. I apologise for this feedback but if you are charging 5 star luxury price then the dwelling should reflect this.

Hi Sharon, Please accept our sincere apologies if Daisy Cottage wasn't up to the standards that you have previously experienced. We were surprised by your review as nothing had been brought to our attention during your 10 days and rest assured, if we had known any of these issues at the time of your stay, we would have sorted them as swiftly as possible for you. We have spoken with our team of cleaners who have been fantastic hence our average cleanliness reviews of 97%. The balcony step is being repaired this Friday by a local company. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our hot tub water is changed at every change over however debris can fall into the tub whilst in use, especially with the islands weather and the sea breeze. Since purchasing the property we have never had Sky installed, but we have invested in a new 50" television with Apps that you can log into your own accounts such as Netflix, Apple TV, Now TV, Disney to name a few. Having said all of the above, I can see you have still looked at returning to Daisy Cottage for the 4th time, but understand the price increase for next year seems unjustified to yourself and we have asked Sykes to review these dates on your behalf. Sykes price and manage the property on our behalf. They collect data from their substantial portfolio of holiday homes and prices are therefore based on marketing conditions in our area, which can fluctuate during the calendar year. We would like to see yourselves and Bentley return to Daisy Cottage as we are continuing to invest in the property over the winter period. If you were to return, please do not hesitate to report anything back to us immediately as we take our reviews very seriously and want everyone to have an enjoyable stay at Daisy Cottage on the wonderful Isle of Anglesey. “The cottage was lovely and very well equipped.”

The only criticisms I have was the lack of hand towels , there were 4 of us and only 2 hand towels, for hygiene reasons I would expect a hand towel each. The garage door didn’t fully open and we were unable to open the key safe ( the keys were in the door when we got there).

The area is so peaceful. Just birdsong and the view is beautiful. The cottage itself was lovely. Everything you needed and the beds were super comfortable. Short walk to Tesco Express and places to eat. Beach is fabulous. Not too busy at this time of year. Definitely recommend.

“This was our second stay at Daisy cottage.”

It was great to see the owner had completed some renovations to the property since our last stay the previous year. The third bedroom had new beds and there were new carpets in the bedrooms and bar stools in the kitchen. It was also good that the small en suite shower/toilet space had been tiled. The cleaner did an excellent job making sure everything was very clean and tidy on arrival. The hot tub is also a great addition. The property is in a great location for the beach front. It is a really friendly and safe area of Anglesey to stay. There are plenty of local supermarkets, cafes and take aways in the Benllech area to access in walking distance. We highly recommend Daisy cottage, especially if you’ve got a pet, as it’s dog friendly too.

“A really lovely cottage in a great location, half way between the beach and the town, easy for both.”

Found the binoculars in the living room foot stool and they were great for keeping an eye on the red squirrel that ran across the fence two doors down. Also handy to find the spare batteries although we didn’t need them, this was a great idea. Lovely welcome gift, the biscuits were very tasty.

“We had an excellent stay at Daisy Cottage in June.”

The property was perfect for our needs. There were 4 adults.Thankyou for letting us bring our cockatiel, he had a wonderful time looking out at the fabulous Seaview. The weather was perfect, and we explored the whole of Anglesey, which we all agreed was really lovely. The position of Daisy cottage was great, to reach to beach and shops easily. It was extremely well equipped .The beds were really comfortable, and we all loved the bamboo pillows, which we are going to buy when we get home, if we can find some. Two VERY minor problems were, we couldn't use the tin opener, and when we came to leave we couldn't open the key safe to return the key, so had to ring Sykes call the owners. But all sorted out efficiently.Thankyou for a great stay ,and hopefully be back one day.

“Daisy Cottage is beautiful and everything was just as described, the view over the gardens and out to sea made it very special, the garden itself is secure so we had no concerns about our dog getting out.”

The hot tub was great, as was the log burner, comfy beds and loads of space. Benllech is a very relaxing place to stay with a fantastic beach that seems very safe, and when we visit again we will be heading back to Daisy Cottage if it’s available.

“Hi, another brilliant week at Daisy Cottage.”

Just 2 small problems: We couldnt reach the light pull in the ensuite, ended up tieing a cloth belt to it so it could be used. Also, we had to struggle to get in and out of hot tub. We are under 5ft 2", so maybe give a thought to those petite people.

Hi Jacqueline, another brilliant week at Daisy cottage sounds awesome, we really do appreciate the repeat business and we hope you enjoyed the recent refurbishment that Daisy Cottage has just received. The light switch has been a bit of a mystery to us as we replaced it again in January, all we can think is that the pull cord gets trapped in the door and shreds making it shorter however we have an electrician booked for April (our next available maintenance slot) to put a switch on the outside of the en suite which will sort this issue once and for all, so thank you for the feedback. As the hot tub is built into the decking steps were not needed however we will investigate the option of a hand rail to make the access into and out out of the hot tub easier, again we really appreciate the feedback and were always trying to make your stay 5 star. And yes we would love you to return. Daisy cottage is currently closed for maintenance and we are pleased to report that all these niggles will be sorted, In fact the TV that only had Netflix and YouTube in the bedroom now has a digital Ariel so all channels can be enjoyed, the wine cooler you just have to hold the on/off button for 5 seconds, the sofa arms are being repaired and yes a longer pull cord for mum x. “My family and I have just spent 2 weeks at Daisy Cottage Benllech Bay.”

The owners have thought of and provided everything a family would need away from home, especially the very comfortable beds. The welcome pack for us and our dog was a lovely touch. “A lovely stay in Daisy Cottage.”

It is in an absolutely perfect location - just a few minutes walk from the stunning Benllech Beach. It's nice and quiet, although there's a Co-op and a small Tesco just a short walk away. The cottage itself was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The hot tub on the patio of the master bedroom was a lovely addition and it warmed up superbly within 24 hours. We enjoyed some lovely walks on the beach (would recommend the walk from Benllech to Red Wharf Bay along the beach when the tide is out). Would also recommend the delicious food from The Benllech pub (dogs welcome inside too!) We'll definitely be booking this place again for when we next return to Anglesey.

“Daisy cottage is a very nice property however we suggest that the owners who we believe are new to holiday letting observe the following to make the property exceptional.”

1 the property sleeps 7 but accommodates only for four people both for eating and lounge comfort. we had to bring the outside table and chairs in to be able to sit 6 people for dinner. 2 The en-suite is totaly inadequate it has obviously been recently built on but it would have been more useful had another 0.5m been taken off the bedroom to allow both sensible access to the shower and a proper sized hand basin fitted.(we are speaking from experience on this) 3 There was only one set of keys to front door and as you know we lost it, which of course was not the owners fault and we appreciate the speed with which they responded however if you rent to 6 people it is impractical to believe they will all leave and return to the accommodation simultaneously. 4 Finally both electric showers were below par particularly the over bath which barely reached the temperature of the hot tub. It is a point remembering that people do not want to go and stay in less comfort than they have at home.. otherwise they would buy a caravan or go camping We think this could be a much more desirable holiday let.

“We absolutely loved our stay at Daisy cottage.”

Fantastic location just a short walk downhill to the beach and uphill to the amenities in Benllech. Cottage felt really roomy given it was all on one floor. Really comfortable beds and huge sofa, kitchen facilities spot on and the little treats you left for us an the dog were a lovely surprise. Fully secure garden excellent for the dog- meant we didn’t have to worry. Fab views from the balconies in the morning and the sunken hot tub was a great addition. Only small things would be the ability to control the temp on hot tub as it felt cooler a couple of times but it was Feb, and water temp on sink and showers took a while to heat but nothing major. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back aswell.

“Brilliant cottage in a great spot in Anglesey - at the end of a little cul-de-sac so really peaceful - with sea views from the lounge and 2 of the bedrooms.”

Cottage was superbly equipped, comfortable & cosy. The beds were really comfortable and it is rare to find a property with all the mod cons that Daisy Cottage has (3x Smart TVs and an Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker) The hot tub was an added bonus - ideal for soaking in after a day out and about exploring the area. All in all it was just perfect.

There was a stunning view of the sea from the balcony. We where left milk and cakes on arrival which was greatly appreciated after our journey. Well-positioned near the county’s hotspots and within walking distance to the shoreline of North Wales, Daisy Cottage is an ideal abode for a group getaway or a couple’s coastal escape, sleeping up to seven guests.

A sought-after private driveway will welcome you to the property, along with additional roadside parking, easing your transition through the front suntrap, towards the main entrance.

Make your way to the open-plan living space, light the woodburning stove, rest in front of the Smart TV, gaze at the seaside views, or begin to prepare some evening nibbles, ready for dusk.

Boasting a contemporary outdoor space, enjoy the elevated patio area with furniture in tow, laze along the artificial lawn, or climb up to the deluxe hot tub for a dreamy sundown.

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.

The hot tub is emptied and refilled after every booking so will not be hot on arrival but will heat up over night, hot tub will be ready 24 hours after check in time.
