Overall we liked the property.
Good views, nice garden/raised deck/hot tub. living area big sliding glass doors, decent size, large corner couch. Smart tv great. It could do with extra wall sockets (there are extension ramps everywhere) it could also benefit from extra table/floor lamps as there is only one or you use the ceiling lights - very bright. Kitchen adjoins to the living room, good size, well stocked. Fridge had strong smell of fish on arrival & didn’t go away. It was also noisy & the seal could have been better. Bar stools round one side of worktop, so that’s your dining area unless it’s a sunny day then you can eat out on the deck. Comfortable bedrooms, good storage, mattress will be good for some & not for others as per every holiday let. Main bathroom decent size with combined bath/shower. Small bathroom is very small - if you have mobility issues it could be a challenge. It’s very convenient for shops, restaurants & beach & there’s off road parking. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage & Yes I would go back.

Great place for a family holiday, close to tbe beach.

Lovely bungalow in quiet cul-de-sac.
Bungalow within walking distance of beach shops and public house.on a side note nothing to do with bungalow avoid ordering groceries from Tesco online . They failed to deliver on our first evening citing they couldn’t find address. Enjoyed hot tub every evening.would happily return if in area

This was our second stay at Daisy Cottage.
Bedrooms had obviously been cleaned - beds clean & comfortable. However the en-suite shower room hadnt been cleaned - toilet was dirty & there was a used bar of soap left in the shower tray & sink dirty. The inside of the fridge - a fresh blue milk had been left for us , however, there were remnants of food inside the fridge door and on the shelves. The oven still had remnants of food still on the metal tray inside . The single tea towel and oven mits were stained and dirty . No kitchen hand towel provided. The floor of the living room clearly hadnt been cleaned properly as there was sand evident at the base of the L shaped sofa. The bathroom floor was also dirty - an old metal rusting hairpin was next to the toilet & the toilet itself hadnt been cleaned . The slip mat in the bath needs replacing as there’s ingrained black mould on it.Present on the kitchen work top was a dirty cafetière & the coffee machine still had water in its tank and the drip tray was full of mould. I didn’t expect to spend the start of our holiday, after a long journey, cleaning! Not very happy customers ! Sort out the cleaning please as otherwise this is a lovely house. Hence only 3 stars.

Contemplated writing up a full breakdown of the abysmal customer service we've had from Sykes since our last stay at Daisy Cottage, but I've wasted enough time on Sykes and as they clearly don't care, whats the point.

Good accommodation although the en-suite whilst as per the photo is very small.
Only complaint is that a 5 year old brushed past the wall mirror in the hall. It fell and smashed. Luckily the child was not cut. On inspection the mirror was in fact not a wall mirror but a free standing mirror that had been 'secured' by resting the top frame on 2 screws in the wall. IT WAS NOT SECURED! This does question the checks made by Sykes as to the safety in rental accommodation. Other than that the property was good.

The en-suite is as per the Sykes photo and you also have the benefit of the family bathroom too. We were sorry to hear about the incident with your child and the mirror, and glad no one was injured. Guest safety is always our priority and the mirror was actually purchased 5 years ago as a free standing or wall-mounted mirror and was fitted as per the manufacturer's instructions. It had remained securely in place throughout that time with no issue. The mirror has since been replaced at our expense and has been security fixed to provide additional reassurance for future guest's safety. This was our fifth (yes, fifth!
) stay at Daisy Cottage and it was absolutely perfect. We keep coming back because the property is so lovely and the location is remarkable. I bring my elderly mother who has mobility issues and she finds the bungalow set up wonderful and within a few minutes walk to the beach which is manageable for her. Meanwhile I absolutely love the hot tub on the patio and the lovely relaxing kitchen/diner/lounge area as a place to chill and enjoy the sea views. The property itself is exceptionally clean and very well kitted out. Over the years the owners have made numerous improvements and updates and it’s obvious the love that goes into the cottage and it’s by far and away superior to a “bog standard holiday let” that you usually find. I honestly couldn’t recommend the place highly enough. Thank you again to the owners for sharing their beautiful place for the enjoyment of others. Much appreciated and we hope to return again for a sixth visit!

we have stayed at Daisy cottage 3 times now.
the first 2 all positive, not one complaint. This time however, it wasnt as spotless, we found a prescription pill on the floor, if our dog or a child had put in their mouths...... We put a number of things in the maintenance book, as there are things that need repairing. If no one tells you then how are you to repair. We were told that owners want people to let them know, so we hope thats ok. The new decor has made the place feel much smaller and colder. :(

We have the same housekeeping team, who we believe do an excellent job, but as with any service there can occasionally be something missed. However, please just make a call if there is anything that is not up to standard on arrival and we will endeavour to do our very best to try and resolve any issue as quickly as possible. As you say, if we don't know we can't do anything to assist you. We also appreciate you noting items in the maintenance book. As you mentioned we always encourage guests to let us know if anything needs our attention so we can address it quickly and that feedback helps up keep the cottage in good working condition for everyone. We hope you seen that from your last feedback we replaced the light switch and fitted a handle in the hot tub. Our team have already been notified about the toilet door lock and a new cafetiere has been ordered and will be there by Friday. Regarding the recent decor changes, we understand that style and atmosphere can be very subjective. The new windows, new roof, new curtains and new decor were made with the intention of refreshing the space, but we do appreciate hearing different perspectives from returning guests. We really liked the property, very comfortable, especially the beds.
Outside a balcony overlooking the sea, great on a sunny day having our breakfast out there. Garden a good size and well maintained, fenced in which was great so our naughty little pooch, couldn't get out. Loved the location, a few minutes walk to the beach, and short drives to many more beautiful beaches. Plenty of shops, restaurants, pub and a good chippy next to Tesco, all walking distance. Great homely cottage, perfect to see in new year.
Lovely views out to the Irish Sea, and hot tub was a lovely addition to this property, as was the log fire which we loved !! The Christmas tree in the property was a really nice touch as was the little gifts they left. The property was really well designed and had a great social layout meaning we could all sit together in the evening and chat. Would definitely come back again in the summer months and enjoy this property’s lovely balcony and walk to the beaches. Thank you daisy cottage for a lovely stay.

What a lovely little place to stay, you’ve really made great use of the space and view you have! Definitely recommend the crab shack for a spot of lunch and getting up at 5am to watch the sunrise from the living room! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We also love the Crab Shack, small but known locally for its local fresh seafood, we always recommend guests to pre-order your fresh muscles or other seafood so not to miss out.

Hi Simon, Thank you for the review, lost of people mention the location which we think is difficult to beat with Daisy cottage being so close to the beach, shops, pubs and yet nice to escape the hustle and bustle on your return. All of our team work hard to keep Daisy cottage clean and comfortable so thank you for the mention, our cleaners, gardeners, painters and window cleaners I'm sure will appreciate your feedback.
Upon arrival freezer was ajar as the bottom drawer wouldn't close due to too much ice I had to defrost and remove before I could use.
The hot tub had quite a bit of debris in upon use. The blinds in the kitchen and front bedroom need a thorough clean,build up of dust. Garden furniture cushions were all wet and when moved there was a swarm of woodlice,the cushions on the furniture haven't been cleaned for a while despite being removable. The top stair on the way down from the hot tub is in need of desperate repair it slopes down when you stand on it.Also it needs balistraids adding to avoid a fall through the very wide gap. This is our 3rd time at this cottage and this year it was a disappointment.It needs maintenance and a thorough deep clean.We will not be returning a 4th time as next year our stay has increased by nearly £1000 and the property doesn't justify £3200.We are saddened at this as we loved it especially the 1st & 2nd year and Bentley the dog was over the moon.Year 1 there was even sky/cable TV,and for the price increase that should b standard. Also there were stains on the skirting board n lower wall facing the bathroom as though drinks have been spilled.Certainly not up to the usual standard. I apologise for this feedback but if you are charging 5 star luxury price then the dwelling should reflect this.
Hi Sharon, Please accept our sincere apologies if Daisy Cottage wasn't up to the standards that you have previously experienced. We were surprised by your review as nothing had been brought to our attention during your 10 days and rest assured, if we had known any of these issues at the time of your stay, we would have sorted them as swiftly as possible for you. We have spoken with our team of cleaners who have been fantastic hence our average cleanliness reviews of 97%. The balcony step is being repaired this Friday by a local company. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our hot tub water is changed at every change over however debris can fall into the tub whilst in use, especially with the islands weather and the sea breeze. Since purchasing the property we have never had Sky installed, but we have invested in a new 50" television with Apps that you can log into your own accounts such as Netflix, Apple TV, Now TV, Disney to name a few. Having said all of the above, I can see you have still looked at returning to Daisy Cottage for the 4th time, but understand the price increase for next year seems unjustified to yourself and we have asked Sykes to review these dates on your behalf. Sykes price and manage the property on our behalf. They collect data from their substantial portfolio of holiday homes and prices are therefore based on marketing conditions in our area, which can fluctuate during the calendar year. We would like to see yourselves and Bentley return to Daisy Cottage as we are continuing to invest in the property over the winter period. If you were to return, please do not hesitate to report anything back to us immediately as we take our reviews very seriously and want everyone to have an enjoyable stay at Daisy Cottage on the wonderful Isle of Anglesey.
The cottage was lovely and very well equipped.
The only criticisms I have was the lack of hand towels , there were 4 of us and only 2 hand towels, for hygiene reasons I would expect a hand towel each. The garage door didn’t fully open and we were unable to open the key safe ( the keys were in the door when we got there).
Hi Carol, We’re glad you found the cottage to be lovely and well equipped. We have ordered more hand towels and they are currently being embroidered with Daisy Cottage on so they match our bath towels. Thanks for bringing the garage door to our attention, that has been repaired and serviced. Unfortunately we couldn’t fault the key safe but we haven’t encountered any issues since. We also have a spare key box in addition to our main one as a back up.
Just returned from Daisy Cottage after a totally relaxing break.
The area is so peaceful. Just birdsong and the view is beautiful. The cottage itself was lovely. Everything you needed and the beds were super comfortable. Short walk to Tesco Express and places to eat. Beach is fabulous. Not too busy at this time of year. Definitely recommend.

Well what can I say “we loved it, didn’t want to leave” We booked this last minute for a New Year family getaway.
Stunning little cottage, very clean, very welcoming and very comfortable beds. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Loved the location of this property, easy walk to the beach, lots of places to eat or to get a takeaway. Can not fault this property at all. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was our second stay at Daisy cottage.
It was great to see the owner had completed some renovations to the property since our last stay the previous year. The third bedroom had new beds and there were new carpets in the bedrooms and bar stools in the kitchen. It was also good that the small en suite shower/toilet space had been tiled. The cleaner did an excellent job making sure everything was very clean and tidy on arrival. The hot tub is also a great addition. The property is in a great location for the beach front. It is a really friendly and safe area of Anglesey to stay. There are plenty of local supermarkets, cafes and take aways in the Benllech area to access in walking distance. We highly recommend Daisy cottage, especially if you’ve got a pet, as it’s dog friendly too.

A really lovely cottage in a great location, half way between the beach and the town, easy for both.
Found the binoculars in the living room foot stool and they were great for keeping an eye on the red squirrel that ran across the fence two doors down. Also handy to find the spare batteries although we didn’t need them, this was a great idea. Lovely welcome gift, the biscuits were very tasty.

We had an excellent stay at Daisy Cottage in June.
The property was perfect for our needs. There were 4 adults.Thankyou for letting us bring our cockatiel, he had a wonderful time looking out at the fabulous Seaview. The weather was perfect, and we explored the whole of Anglesey, which we all agreed was really lovely. The position of Daisy cottage was great, to reach to beach and shops easily. It was extremely well equipped .The beds were really comfortable, and we all loved the bamboo pillows, which we are going to buy when we get home, if we can find some. Two VERY minor problems were, we couldn't use the tin opener, and when we came to leave we couldn't open the key safe to return the key, so had to ring Sykes call the owners. But all sorted out efficiently.Thankyou for a great stay ,and hopefully be back one day.

Daisy Cottage is beautiful and everything was just as described, the view over the gardens and out to sea made it very special, the garden itself is secure so we had no concerns about our dog getting out.
The hot tub was great, as was the log burner, comfy beds and loads of space. Benllech is a very relaxing place to stay with a fantastic beach that seems very safe, and when we visit again we will be heading back to Daisy Cottage if it’s available.

Hi, another brilliant week at Daisy Cottage.
Just 2 small problems: We couldnt reach the light pull in the ensuite, ended up tieing a cloth belt to it so it could be used. Also, we had to struggle to get in and out of hot tub. We are under 5ft 2", so maybe give a thought to those petite people.
Hi Jacqueline, another brilliant week at Daisy cottage sounds awesome, we really do appreciate the repeat business and we hope you enjoyed the recent refurbishment that Daisy Cottage has just received. The light switch has been a bit of a mystery to us as we replaced it again in January, all we can think is that the pull cord gets trapped in the door and shreds making it shorter however we have an electrician booked for April (our next available maintenance slot) to put a switch on the outside of the en suite which will sort this issue once and for all, so thank you for the feedback. As the hot tub is built into the decking steps were not needed however we will investigate the option of a hand rail to make the access into and out out of the hot tub easier, again we really appreciate the feedback and were always trying to make your stay 5 star. Lovely location, quiet, with plenty around!
David, we are so pleased you had a lovely holiday at Daisy Cottage in Benllech. No matter what the weather, Anglesey is still an amazingly scenic island. We love just sitting at the breakfast bar watching the weather change over the sea. They do say Location, Location, Location and that's where Daisy Cottage has the advantage of being situated in a quiet cul de sac and yet just 200 Metres from the beach , Café, shops and bars. The hot tub always seems to be a winner. We hope to see you again soon.

Tracey, thank you for your recommendations and comments in the Daisy Cottage guest book, especially " Daisy Cottage was spotless and a perfect location, it had everything we needed." And yes we would love you to return. Daisy cottage is currently closed for maintenance and we are pleased to report that all these niggles will be sorted, In fact the TV that only had Netflix and YouTube in the bedroom now has a digital Ariel so all channels can be enjoyed, the wine cooler you just have to hold the on/off button for 5 seconds, the sofa arms are being repaired and yes a longer pull cord for mum x. We appreciate the feedback and see you soon.
This was a fantastic property and was located in an ideal location for easy access to the beach.
The owners have taken care to provide everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This included items that could be borrowed to enjoy time at the beach. It’s also great that our dog could join us at this dog friendly property too.

My family and I have just spent 2 weeks at Daisy Cottage Benllech Bay.
The owners have thought of and provided everything a family would need away from home, especially the very comfortable beds. The welcome pack for us and our dog was a lovely touch. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and a special treat after our long walks on the fantastic beach and surrounding coastal paths. We hope to stay again next year.
Excellent holiday destination and a lovely place to stay on Benllech.
The home was great, views brilliant and hot tub was amazing. Just a few hundred yards walk to the wonderful beach and 5 mins walk from the shops and high street. Would recommend staying here.
Cottage is amazing, unbelievable location near one of the nicest beaches we've been to, dog loved it as well.
Facilities great, hot tub was a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend, we will be back.

A lovely stay in Daisy Cottage.
It is in an absolutely perfect location - just a few minutes walk from the stunning Benllech Beach. It's nice and quiet, although there's a Co-op and a small Tesco just a short walk away. The cottage itself was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The hot tub on the patio of the master bedroom was a lovely addition and it warmed up superbly within 24 hours. We enjoyed some lovely walks on the beach (would recommend the walk from Benllech to Red Wharf Bay along the beach when the tide is out). Would also recommend the delicious food from The Benllech pub (dogs welcome inside too!) We'll definitely be booking this place again for when we next return to Anglesey.

Daisy cottage is a very nice property however we suggest that the owners who we believe are new to holiday letting observe the following to make the property exceptional.
1 the property sleeps 7 but accommodates only for four people both for eating and lounge comfort. we had to bring the outside table and chairs in to be able to sit 6 people for dinner. 2 The en-suite is totaly inadequate it has obviously been recently built on but it would have been more useful had another 0.5m been taken off the bedroom to allow both sensible access to the shower and a proper sized hand basin fitted.(we are speaking from experience on this) 3 There was only one set of keys to front door and as you know we lost it, which of course was not the owners fault and we appreciate the speed with which they responded however if you rent to 6 people it is impractical to believe they will all leave and return to the accommodation simultaneously. 4 Finally both electric showers were below par particularly the over bath which barely reached the temperature of the hot tub. It is a point remembering that people do not want to go and stay in less comfort than they have at home.. otherwise they would buy a caravan or go camping We think this could be a much more desirable holiday let.

Light cord in en suite needs to be longer no toilet brush needs a note in book not to turn off table lamp in living area as it I also the router couldn’t all sit together for a meal as only 4 chairs overall a lovely cottage excellent location in a beautiful area very clean and comfortable sleep quality excellent would definitely recommend
We absolutely loved our stay at Daisy cottage.
Fantastic location just a short walk downhill to the beach and uphill to the amenities in Benllech. Cottage felt really roomy given it was all on one floor. Really comfortable beds and huge sofa, kitchen facilities spot on and the little treats you left for us an the dog were a lovely surprise. Fully secure garden excellent for the dog- meant we didn’t have to worry. Fab views from the balconies in the morning and the sunken hot tub was a great addition. Only small things would be the ability to control the temp on hot tub as it felt cooler a couple of times but it was Feb, and water temp on sink and showers took a while to heat but nothing major. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back aswell.
The property is fabulously located for the beach, walks, pubs and shops/takeaways.
We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were really comfy. I bet in the Summer, sitting outside in the garden must be beautiful with the views. We will certainly be back!
Outstanding property everything catered for and some nice little touches (treats for the dog).
Location ideal close to beach and within easy travelling distance for great days out. Overall excellent accommodation and the great hot tub a massive bonus.
Brilliant cottage in a great spot in Anglesey - at the end of a little cul-de-sac so really peaceful - with sea views from the lounge and 2 of the bedrooms.
Cottage was superbly equipped, comfortable & cosy. The beds were really comfortable and it is rare to find a property with all the mod cons that Daisy Cottage has (3x Smart TVs and an Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker) The hot tub was an added bonus - ideal for soaking in after a day out and about exploring the area. All in all it was just perfect.
Daisy cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
There was a stunning view of the sea from the balcony. We where left milk and cakes on arrival which was greatly appreciated after our journey. We have young children and the fact there was a room full of toys made our sons day. The cottage had everything we could of needed. We felt very welcome and would love to come stay again.
Beautiful property, slight changes need to be made to the outdoor stairs to make them safer for young children.
However, this did not distract from a fabulous holiday, the property was fully equipped - we had everything we needed.

Beach and local amenities only a short walk away. the pictures did not do it justice. Wonderful weekend break with my partner , 3 children and our dog. Will definitely be back, we could not fault Daisy Cottage.
