A very comfortable apartment in Benllech well placed to explore Anglesey

Fantastic location, lovely view, very clean and comfortable.

Everything you need. Me and my husband stayed with my 84 year old parents and the only thing we could think is that we could have used a nest of tables to put drinks on.

Second time staying at Bay view.

Love the location apartment nice and clean and great base to see the rest of the Anglesey.

Great location and lovely apartment which had everything we needed although another coffee table would have been useful.

Two issues neither of the bathrooms extractor fans appeared to work and secondly the sitting room settee are well past thier best quite uncomfortable to sit on, have metioned this in previous posts definitely need replacing asap.

Otherwise its an excellent property in a fantastic location.

It is our 2nd time at Bay View.

Location is perfect, the addition of the access gate is great. We felt that the apartment is in need of attention this time. It needs a good deep clean now and some updating. The pillows, king duvet and mattress need replacing. No pillow or duvet protectors. We were horrified to see the large stains on both after removal of bedding. We then checked the mattress which had huge stains like someone had wet the bed previously. Up to this point we were going to rebook for next year but I'm afraid we won't be doing. It's a basic hygiene thing and has totally put us off. It's a real shame because the apartment has it all, spacious, great location, views, close to the beach, restaurants and shops, car parking.

Ideally situated for exploring the island.

Surrounded by numerous supermarkets, takeaways and decent quality pubs, so plenty of dining options within walking distance. Private parking arrangements exceptional. The accommodation itself was lacking a few basic necessities. We were left with 1 toilet roll (2 bathrooms and 4 people). No hand-wash or no toiletries whatsoever. A bottle of milk would have been nice and maybe a bit of coffee for a drink upon arrival. Our 'arrival pack' consisted of a few tea bags and 3 twin packs of biscuits. A bit disappointing. The apartment itself was fully equipped but lacked a couple of side tables in the lounge and a tv in the bedroom would have been ideal, in addition to the one in the lounge. Comfy beds and clean bedding. No USB sockets. Overall, would stay again but would be more prepared next time.

We enjoyed our second visit to Bay View, finding the accommodation clean, quiet and comfortable. Having on site car parking is very important, especially as local shop amenities were within easy walking distance of a few minutes. Overall, we thoroughly recommend this property.

Entrance hall had a very fusty smell, kitchen blind was greasy.

The place it's self was spacious and the location ideal.

It really is super. Ideal location, spotlessly clean. Warm, great TV, great shower. The lounge suit is a little shabby but very comfortable. I think it’s time for a new rug in the lounge. The bed very comfortable with nice bedding. 5 pm is a little late to checkin, it says 4pm in the book. Hope to return

This apartment was perfect for us.

It was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed for our holiday. The location was really good, 5 minutes to the beach. Shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. So many wonderful places to explore on Anglesey itself and the same for North Wales and Snowdonia. A perfect place to unwind. We have a EV and found fast charging in Menai Bridge and Llangefni. We will definitely be booking again, thank you

Had a lovely stay at Bay View made even better by a week of sunshine.

Property was spacious, comfortable and included a wide range of kitchen and household resources. Beds were very comfortable, very clean throughout and had lovely views over the beach. Owner left good recommendations of where to eat and visit. Great car parking and check in instructions. So impressed that we rebooked for next year!

Lovely apartment.

A good place to stay near the beach and plenty of places to eat. The only problem we had was nothing to do with your flat but the upstairs neighbour playing loud music every night till about 9.00. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Bay View in Benllech, just the two of us, but the apartment sleeps 4 and there is plenty of room.

The apartment is in a great position with a lovely view of the bay, which is only a short walk down the hill. The shops, pub and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away. All rooms in the apartment are a great size, with plenty of storage. The beds are comfy, the towels are large and fluffy and there is plenty of crockery, glasses etc in the kitchen. The shower in the en suite was delightfully powerful! The lounge was comfy to relax in and has the morning sun. A fabulous place to stay!! Thank you to the owners! Sent from Outlook for Android

This is my second time at this property it’s got everything you need and a great location some fantastic restaurants breeze hill the benllech .

We had a lovely stay at Bay View, the apartment was very good, very clean, well provided for.

We had everything we needed, bright and modern and sea views too. We would stay again.

The key safe is a bit complicated to use, but other than that, a very nice holiday apartment.

This is a great apartment to use as a base to tour the lovely places this island has to offer.

A beautiful beach on its doorstep and only a short hike to Red Wharf Bay, too. This apartment’s central position makes accessing other places very easy. The apartment is great for a family of four. We stayed with our older children but have stayed many times before when they were much younger. The view outside the kitchen window is like an ever-changing picture - sea and Mountain view. Love this place - feel very at home here.

1-filthy cups 2-kitchem pans unusable 3-patio door never been cleaned around the jam 4-rusty garden furniture just thrown around,not a place to sit outside 5-worn towels which were very hard 6-this place needs updating badly

Needs somewhere to hang coats in the hall, especially in wet weather, otherwise the apartment was you class

Lovely spacious comfortable well furnished apartment.

Quiet at the back where the bedrooms are, bit noisy at the front due to main road, however soon realised the road was busy because people were going to and from work and I was on holiday! The view from the little patio across the bay to the mountains more than made up for the road. The apartment is really conveniently located too for shops (Tesco a 3 minute walk), takeaways and pubs, and of course the stunning beach and rock pools just a 5 minute walk down the hill. Really loved the accommodation and location, spot on for exploring beautiful Anglesey.

I think this was the most comfortable holiday let I have ever been in, it felt like home from home.

The property was very easy to find it was a ideal place to stay to visit other areas of the island it was clean and lovely decorated and a very comfy bed The only recommendation we would like to say it may needs coat hooks but we really enjoy our stay Mark and Bec

Property just needs somewhere to hang wet coats when you have been out in the rain.

First class location for pub, local supermarkets. Pity about the steep hill if you walk to and back from the beach. Hard going if you use a walking stick. But coming back it's a good reason to stop off in the pub.

Firstly getting the key from the key safe was a nightmare.

After putting in the code the front did not drop down, firmly stuck in. Only help from a resident who used some force did it move. Prob needs WD 40 or similar to work effectively. MUST be attended to to save stress for the tenants. We were trying for a long time in pouring rain. The apartment was spotless. It had everything you could need in the kitchen. The TV was excellent as was the Central Heating. Location perfect, easy parking, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. The only thing stopping this apartment being 5 star - the carpets/rug need upgrading as do the leather settees. This would not stop us returning.

Bay View was perfect for our stay.

It was spacious and light and met the needs of our family of 3 generations. It was ideally located for the park and beach and was a good base from which to explore Anglesey. We hope to return.

Only one small problem it would be usefull to have something to put your soap or shampoo on in the shower.

Well situated lovely view. Comfortable and clean. Lovely sea view. Slightly disappointed with the very late entry and very early departure from the property. Must read the entry and departure times more carefully in future.

It’s was very clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location close to beaches, restaurants and amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is our second stay at the apartment and it’s still as impressive as the first time.

The apartment is like a home from home and it has everything you could want, although some more tables in the lounge would be beneficial when you’re having a drink but that is just being picky. Benllech is also a great destination and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone

We had a nice week at bay view in benllech.

Just a couple of things, the lid of the kitchen bin wouldn’t close (not great for a kitchen bin), more hooks for coats or on the back of bathroom doors would have been appreciated. Also confusion caused by having 2 Bay View properties in benllech, as 2 of our party got there before me they went to the wrong Bay View, causing them some stress, maybe need to look at wording in brochure description of both places.

Everything was as advertised.

Perfect for our family of 3. Location, facilities, cleanliness was all perfect. The walk to the beach was not far at all. Excellent location for exploring different places in Anglesey. The WiFi was exceptional which was great as I had to work on a couple of days. Would love to stay again!

Lovely comfortable, modern and clean property.

Very well maintained and right in the centre of the village, close to all amenities. The welcome milk and cakes were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The bonus was the February weather, sunny nearly every day! We enjoyed a lovely week and would definitely use the property again.

Easily found the property.

The place was lovely and welcoming with the heating being on. The little welcome pack was just what we needed before going for a quick walk to Tesco. The 3 days that we spent here very relaxing and would recomend it as a base for enjoying Anglesey no matter what time of the year.

Advice to visitors would be to forget the name 'Bay View' which doesn't occur anywhere and just look for Flat 14, Rhostrefor Court.

Once you find it (we had some help) the flat is excellent - spacious, well-appointed and in an excellent location. Can definitely be recommended.

In fact it was so good I’m unable to think of anything else to say and I’ve already recommended it to other people. Benllech was also a great base for travelling around north Wales.

the view from the front room although over a main road is something to wake up to even on stormy days like we had. The location is ideal with easy access to the shops and a short walk down to the beach. that make up this great little village. Thank you for sharing your lovely flat with us.

Brilliant Apartment The only negative I can say is The plug in the sink in the main bathroom didn’t work and the shower was too powerful for the shower head holder.

Well if that’s the only problem...........then this place is pretty much perfect

The listed checkin/out times on the site are different to those in the welcome pack inside the property which is confusing.

Inside the property the pack says checkout at 10 and checkin at 4. Property was very clean. Worth mentioning in the listing that the tv is a smart TVs so no need to take extra media devices such as Chromecast.

The flat was in a very good location and the ample parking was extremely welcome.

A welcome pack of some sort would have been appreciated.

Super location for spending time in and around North Wales.

Lovely to have the beach and local amenities so nearby. Despite the current restrictions necessary due to the Pandemic, our enjoyment of our week at Bayview was not negatively affected.

It was a lovely apartment in an ideal position.

Trying to contact Sykes Cottages on arrival for information was very frustrating, hanging on the telephone for 20mins on 2 occasions without speaking to anyone.

The flat was ok but there was a musty smell all the time, ven tho we kept it ventilated.

also the paving slabs in the front could do withe a clean. Think it must be the carpets that maybe need replacing

It is a very comfortable property and it is well located, close to a Tesco, takeaways, pubs and the beach.

The only downside is the lack of outside space to sit out with a coffee or a glass of wine but as this is an apartment rather than a cottage we expected that.

Absolutely spotless which helped us to settle in because of Covid19 worries.

We had a lovely time at Bay View, the only downside being that is on a very busy road so traffic noise during the day could be a background nuisance, the bedrooms are at the back of the property so thankfully we had a peaceful nights sleep.

It is very central to all ameneties in a busy Benllech and the property provided everything we needed and is within easy reach of some lovely areas of Anglesey.

Had a lovely holiday in Bay View, we are looking forward to next year.

This is our second visit, and although the weather was awful the apartment was comfortable and homely.

As my husband is an invalid it is ideal for easy access and spacious.

A lovely modern very clean apartment everything we needed was provided so comfortable great location will be returning.
