“The cottage was lovely however the emulsion was patchy in every room back bedroom at bottom of walls was all dotty the bed nearest window wasn't put together properly had to push the dowels back in dust and alot of it under most of radiators could have done with a little more colour in living room very clinical being all white we then had a text on the Thursday morning at 7.”
30 am to say that the boiler engineer would be there at 9 am to service boiler and would we be in this we didn't think was acceptable as the cottage was rented out for the week and the owner should have looked at bookings and rebooked

With regards to the decor, the lounge and dining area are purposefully painted a neutral white colour so as to appear bright and complement being near the beach/sea and also to best accentuate the large artwork on the walls - we do have colour by means of feature walls in the bedrooms, but wanted to keep decor neutral where possible. With regards to patchiness of painting application there is some around the fire place where there has been some touch up from discolouration (next to burner) and also near bedroom windows where ‘flaking’ has occurred but its not prevalent in every room and I don’t believe it jumps out or hampers guest experience, but I can look into whether further blending is necessary.
I will get my cleaner to check for dust on the radiators also. Coming to the heating engineer, as per previous review there was a small radiator leak which was dealt with promptly to guests satisfaction , however the plumbing boss wanted to double check the work and he offered up an earlier slot than intended last minute, so I asked if this was acceptable or whether I should look to postpone and the response was it was fine to call in, so he called in for 30 minutes.
I was not aware of a problem with one of the single beds, there may well have been a dowel that had popped out but I believe the bed to be functioning fine and this will be checked and rectified should this be necessary.
