Hardy cottage is a lovely place to stay .

It was immaculate and very comfortable.lovely big rooms and a nice private garden for our dog.Everything we needed was there along with easy to follow instructions .Also a folder with lots of information on the island we went to quite a few of the places had a great time. .Benlleck is a great base to stay with lots of amenities and we will definitely visit again.

Hardy Cottage is a great base for exploring Anglesey.

The house was clean & well-equipped, & we appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. The back garden was secure for our dog & a nice place to sit on sunny days. A few shops, cafes & a pub are only 5mins walk from the house. Benllech beach is wonderful & is about 15mins walk, down a steep hill.

Ideal location close by to the pub and bistro like places,quite a spacious back garden where the sun can be caught all day,it is also secure for any dog staying.

Well equiped throughout and the welcome pack was the best I've had at any property.It was also a nice touch to be informed when the property had been cleaned and available before the official moving in time. A very pleasant stay.Thanks.

There were 3 generations of us plus 2 dogs and we all enjoyed Hardy Cottage.

The cottage was comfortable and clean with adequate facilities and the garden was nice and secure for the dogs. Benllech is a great area to visit and is a good base to visit the rest of the island.

We had a nice week at Hardy Cottage, visited lots of places on beautiful Anglesey.

The welcome gifts were very nice and much appreciated, the house itself was ok but for the cost was overpriced we thought. The property had not been updated since when it was listed, the master bedroom bed had seen better day's and not particularly comfortable. Aspects of the property were not very clean, the rear garden patio had weeds growing on it and in need of a tidy up. There are also some steps at the rear, not a problem for us but not child or elderly friendly. To conclude a good stay but not good value for money.

We had a lovely week in the cottage .

It was so convenient for the beach , shops and restaurants. We loved spending time in the garden which has plenty of seating . Our welcome pack was very generous and was enjoyed! We hope to return next year .

Everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay is to hand, it is exceptionally clean, beds are super comfy .Garden is amazing as if it is secure for dogs. Welcome pack is an extra thoughtful treat upon arrival. The owners are only a phone call away and will bend over backwards to help should you need it! This cottage in hotel ratings is 5 star!! If you are thinking of a cottage in Angelsey Hardy is in a perfect location to see the island and Benllech has everything, beach, shops , restaurants and pubs , my advise is book Hardy Cottage you will not regret it!

Hardy Cottage is a lovely property and we really enjoyed our time there.

The cottage was as described, warm and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. It is well situated in Benllech, in a quiet side street but still close to everything you need, especially Finney’s fish & chip shop (amazing & gluten free!). We have stayed at few different properties in Anglesey and this is definitely one of the best, would highly recommend.

Hardy Cottage is in a lovely quiet location but still close to the village of Benllech.

It is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need including towels and bedding on the beds. Would highly recommend, we loved it and wouldn't hesitate to go back sometime.

Not far from the beach and local shops. Pet friendly. Our dog loved it. Very generous gift of groceries which were much appreciated and good communication with the owners. All in all it was great.

SO many accreditations have been made about this property- and they are ALL well substantiated!

Rarely do you come across such a level of thoughtfulness and generosity from the host, but really Elaine and Ian have clearly made a massive step to go just that extra mile! Such lovely people to deal with and they are absolutely fanatical about their guests and their enjoyment of this gem of a cottage. Im sure this experience ranked at the very top of our many many rentals with Sykes Go on! Give it a try, you wont regret it!

The best holiday accommodation we have stayed in with absolutely everything thought of by the owners.

On a very cold week we could not have been more cosy in the accommodation. Ideal location in Benllech with walks from the door. Lovely welcome pack and even the bird feeders in the garden had been filled up prior to our arrival. No doubt that we will be returning.

Well, where do I start.

This has to be the best cottage we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in alot with Sykes Cottages over the years.) From the first impression when you walk in. The lovely thoughtful welcome gifts (even milk and butter in the fridge). There was everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Lovely location. All in all home from home.

We enjoyed our stay in Hardy cottage, we were surprised with the lovely flowers,wine and other welcome items.

We loved the garden with the sea view and how close it was to the shops,cafes and various takeaways. Although we came in November,we did get a couple of sunny days and would love to visit again in a warmer season to enjoy the garden facilities.

This was our fourth visit and on our return home we have booked visit number five !

which realistically says it all . Everything you would want and a quiet spot , dogs love the garden , which is safe and secure , spending ages sniffing and exploring. The accommodation has comfy beds and furniture and is truly a home from home

A lovely warm and comfortable cottage in a great position for exploring Anglesey.

It is nice and roomy although the Shower room and Loo are rather small! The lovely Benllech beach is very close by and within walking distance. The garden is a good size but the outside would benefit from a bit of tlc., also someone hadn’t cleared up after their dog which should be a priority. The extras provided were very welcome, also the lovely fresh flowers, thank you.

Lovely property in a lovely area.

Close to all amenities and easy to travel around the island. Property clean and well presented. Great welcome pack, much appreciated. Good, secure garden space great for our dog. Beach at Benllech great just need to be aware of tide times to ensure space for dog exercise. Although parking is now a little expensive Newborough Forest is spectacular. Would definitely visit the property again.

Bungalow was spotless and very well maintained, equipment and facilities were great and the welcome pack was just quality. Garden was very well equipped and absolutely dog friendly which led to a very relaxing stay. Location was great and local food, drink and shopping amenities are all very accommodating too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate about booking again.

Hardy Cottage is an exceptional holiday destination.

We've returned for our third visit this year and the standards provided by Elaine and Ian were first class once again. Our first visit was for a week but after experiencing Hardy Cottage's delights we've increased this to two weeks ever since. Just wish we could stay longer.

If you are thinking of staying here don’t hesitate you won’t regret it. If you have dogs it is perfect with a safe and secure garden, the owners will do anything to make sure, you gave a comfortable and relaxing holiday, nothing is too trouble, I stay In lots of cottages throughout the year in various places, and Hardy Cottage is the best one, hence why I return!!

What an amazing holiday home!! We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Hardy Cottage. Really friendly owners and great information provided to help make our stay enjoyable. This is our 2nd visit to Hardy Cottage, a fabulous detached bungalow that has everything you need & the hosts, Elaine & Ian leave you the best starter pack you are likely to find anywhere.

A well presented & tastefully furnished property, clean & warm, with a good atmosphere. Lots of internal space & an enclosed rear outside space for your pet. A good sized front drive for your vehicle. Its that good, on my way home i booked it again for next year.

It is in a central location perfect for walking down to Benllech beach and also great for getting to other destinations across the island. The cottage is well equipped and spotless with a welcome pack which was a lovely touch for our family. We will definitely be back!!

Hosts are very helpful and excellent at communicating. Driveway , secure garden, dog friendly House with wood floors , utility room for wet boots and coats.Within walking distance of beach. All amenities making it home from home. We have been twice this year and hopefully it will be available when we can go next year.

Our third visit , perfect home from home what more can we say , previous visits have been in February so haven’t had the opportunity to fully appreciate the back garden before , this time, with the weather kind to us all weekend and with the sunset later we were able to appreciate and enjoy the garden which is a perfect setting for our dogs autumn or winter.

This is a gem of a property just right for us and we are looking forward to our next visit.

The cottage is cosy, clean and delightful, the welcome pack is exceptional as are the fresh flowers in the kitchen, the thoughtfulness of the owners providing everything anyone would need for an enjoyable stay is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble for them. If you are contemplating in booking Hardy cottage we highly recommend you do, you won’t regret it!! It is perfect for dogs with an enclosed safe garden with lots of choice of outside seating. The gardens are maintained to a high standard and 2 cars can be parked safely on the drive. We will definitely be booking this cottage in the future, it is a great location for exploring Anglesey and local shops, restaurants and Benllech beach Perfect in every way!!

Really lovely house, centrally located with beach, cafes, takeaways, local shop etc nearby.

The welcome pack was much appreciated. The garden was also lovely. Loved that there were some spices and seasoning in the cupboards (I had brought my own, but this touch is so useful in holiday lets). The only small thing was the tiny bathroom, I am only 5ft2 and kept bashing my legs on the radiator, but all things considered, it was manageable for a week. thanks for a lovely stay.

We returned to Hardy Cottage for a two weeks holiday having experienced its delight's when we first holidayed for a week last year.

We have stayed in many properties over the 9 years we have been visiting Anglesey.

This one is by far the best and our favourite. The property is well maintained and furnished and cleaned to the highest standard. Some thoughtful welcome gifts on arrival, which were very much appreciated. A secure garden which meant peace of mind for our labradors. A quiet location, but close to all the amenities in Benllech. Finally lovely communication with owners, who take time to read their feedback and respond. We will definitely return, and thank Elaine and Ian for sharing their fantastic property.

We have stayed in a great deal of holiday cottages and Hardy cottages has come out as one of the best.

Very clean, comfortable and organised. The only thing that was not mentioned is that there is a large fridge/freezer. The very large T.V was a great success with the grand children after a busy day out. Thank you for making our holiday perfect.

The twin bedded room needs wardrobe instead of chest of drawers.

Our hosts, Elaine & Ian have made this detached bungalow a real home from home for their holiday makers. The furnishings & fitments are so very comfy & all extremely tasteful. There are so many extra little niceties - you want for nothing. We came here for our 34th Wedding Anniversary & two days after that a special birthday for me - we have been spoiled. We've been made so welcome we would definitely wish to come back. Our young Labrador also settled in very nicely. Benllech is a little gem of a place with a fabulous coast line - & something for everybody. Thank you ever so much

Outstanding for the money.

Everything exactly as described and more, Very clean and comfortable stay for a relaxing week. Very convenient for visiting various places of interest and beaches. Enough shops etc a 5 minute walk away. Our two elderly King Charles cavaliers enjoyed the large fully enclosed rear garden, A credit to the owners. Thank you.

Hardly Cottage was perfect for us, a real home from home.

Spotlessly clean, all the amenities you could need and an excellent location with shops, bars, restaurants and the beach within a 5 minute walk. Really nice finishing touches from the owners as well. Benllech is an excellent location to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia with nothing more than a 30 minute drive away. We would recommend Hardy Cottage to anyone 100%

We really enjoyed our first week long stay in Benllech and this was the perfect accommodation.

Quiet location and a real home from home. The dishwasher and laundry facilities were very much appreciated too. The garden was a little haven and we will bring the bbq next time as the furniture out there is great. Comfy beds and sofas and a fantastic welcome pack really made the holiday. It was very clean and well appointed having everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The welcome pack was a really nice touch and set the tone for the rest of the week. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The cottage was first class.

It was spotlessly clean and spacious. Location was perfect. We appreciated the extra touches the owner provided. The patio very nice and used frequently. The only minor issue was that a bbq was advertised and instructions on how to use it were in the bungalow but no bbq was provided. We would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Very well equipped. Property was very clean and so comfortable. Home from home. The garden is fully dog proof so you can just open the door and let the dog out. Our poodle loved it. This property makes a great base for exploring Anglesey. Definitely 5 star & would recommend without hesitation.

This is a lovely property that is well situated in the charming town of Benllech being close to the beach and all the amenities that Benllech offers.

It is handy for the rest of Anglesey as well. The property itself is very comfortable and well equipped by Elaine and Ian with all their guests needs catered for. On a cold week in January it was very cozy and a lovely place to come home too after walking and spending long days on the beaches. Would highly recommend and very deserving of 5 stars.

Hardy cottage was a perfect base for our family christmas.

The cottage is so comfortable and had everything and more that we needed. The hosts make a special effort to make you welcome and the welcome pack and added christmas touches were very much appreciated. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and pubs and restaurants. Hardy Cottage proved to be an excellent choice for our December week in Anglesey.

Warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable it exceeded our expectations as a base to explore the area. After long walks on the coastal path and visits to local places of interest returning to Hardy's for an evening relaxing made our holiday complete. After a phone call the owner came and helped us. He was very friendly. Hardy Cottage is a fantastic, comfortable bungalow with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. Even although it was end November the house was warm and cosy. We had a wonderful week of weather. Hardy Cottage is in a perfect position to explore the island. The welcome pack was more than generous and very much appreciated. All the little touches like the welcome blackboard made it special. We certainly will return and will recommend Hardy Cottage to friends. It is a real "home and from" plus.

First stay in Anglesey - what a joy!

Benllech village provides local shopping, several places to eat in or takeaway, and a welcoming pub serving delicious food. The fabulous beach is only a short stroll from the bungalow. Hardy Cottage is spacious and comfortable, furnishings and facilities all of good quality. Lovely garden area fully secure for our dog. Would not hesitate to recommend, we will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely stay at Hardy Cottage.

The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing missing for us was a bread bin but I have noticed in other Sykes cottages I have stayed in that this is not supplied. As an older lady with some mobility problems a corner stool in the shower room would have been helpful. The goodies you left for us were much appreciated. Your stools in the lounge were lovely, we are both going to order a hypo now we are home. Thank you once again for a lovely stay

Absolutely wonderful!

The cleanliness of this, obviously, well loved holiday cottage was second to none - superb! The attention to detail and the facilities all went to making us feel at home straight away. We have stayed there before and it was just as good then. The welcome pack was thoughtful and was very much enjoyed! Even the slippers (not that we used them as we took our own!) made you feel like you were staying at an expensive hotel - with our two dogs which we would not have been able to in an expensive hotel! Will book again and most certainly would recommend!

The property was as described and was extremely clean and comfortable.

A perfect location as far as i am concerned and it has been made to be welcoming and has all the facilities that we required. Also the rear garden was adequately fenced off so our dog was perfectly safe. A good place to stay.

Hardy cottage was extremely clean and the supply of milk, butter, tea and coffee (and cake, wine and cider !

) etc was very welcome when we arrived. (no having to rush back out to shop for essentials after arriving). Our first holiday on Anglesey and with everything we needed being within a short walking distance made it very relaxing. Will definitely be booking to go again.

Lovely property in a good location for shops, beach and restaurants. Garden ideal for the dogs, who also loved their stay. The welcome pack was a nice addition and saves an immediate dash to the shops. Thank you.

Lovely personalised greeting board, fantastic welcome pack, going the extra mile makes all the difference. Everything you need is catered for. We took our 4 legged friend and he adored the safe, enclosed back garden. Perfect….. definitely like to return.

This is an excellent bungalow.

It is well-furnished, well-equipped, comfortable, has an enclosed garden, and is about 10 minutes downhill from the beach, and 10 minutes plus uphill from the beach back to the bungalow. A Tesco extra and co-op are with 10 minutes walk. We would have preferred a warmer duvet as we found the bedroom a little cold. Overall, the bungalow was a great base for a holiday with our two dogs. We will certainly consider booking again.

Hardy Cottage was so welcoming from the moment we entered.

The welcome pack was amazing plus all the toiletries. The owners have definitely gone the extra mile at this cottage and probably one of the best properties we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean with such comfortable beds too. Lovely quite location with just a short walk down to the beach. Benllech has a wide variety of shops so everything is virtually on your doorstep. We stayed during a very cold, wet and windy week in February so could not fully appreciate the rear garden which has two seating areas on different levels which we imagine on a lovely summers evening would be delightful. The garden is fully enclosed and therefore very safe for dogs. We stayed as a couple but the cottage is so spacious it would comfortably accommodate 6 people. We would definitely recommend Hardy Cottage. Full credit to the owners, who we had the pleasure of meeting, for making us feel so welcome.

Can’t praise this cottage highly enough.

From the welcome pack as you walk through the door to the fully appointed kitchen and very comfortable lounge area. All superbly clean and a real pleasure to stay there. No criticism at all for anything. Brilliant place

Lovely bungalow everything you need included.

Attention to detail excellent. Warm and clean and excellent position for touring around Anglesey and all the lovely beaches. Good shops and pub all within a short walk.

A lovely cottage, beautifully presented and equipped and immaculately clean.

Located very close to all amenities and a short walk from Benllech beach. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable weeks stay at this property and would definitely make a return visit. Our stay was in mid January and our Dog loved the secure back garden to explore and play in. Would highly recommend this cottage if you are looking at Benllech for a break.

A lovely place, quality of furniture utensils, accessories etc excellent.

Probably most comfortable bed we have slept in. Positioned perfectly for access to facilities (5 min walk) - super market, take aways, cafe, superb pub, and 10 mins to a beautiful beach. Very quiet and pleasant area.

The cottage was amazing,very clean and had everything that you could possibly need.

The back garden is secure for the dogs obviously we didn’t sit outside but would be nice in the warmer months. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Bread,butter and milk always a good call

Our stay at your cottage was absolutely brilliant.

The cottage was wonderful every thing we needed and the welcome package was a lovely touch to. It was spotless and preloved the massive TV too and all the programs like Netflix prime video was excellent it was like being in your own home.

The cottage was wonderful and exceeded our expectations.

It is the best cottage we have booked on Anglesey (and we have been to many!) and it provided a safe garden for the dogs to run around in. The facilities were excellent and the welcome pack was a nice surprise and made us feel at home straight away. By coincidence we are going back to Hardy Cottage in June 2022 (we booked that holiday first) and so we are really looking forward to seeing it again in sunshine (hopefully) and enjoying all the garden facilities it has to offer! Short walk into gorgeous Benllech and the beach and central for exploring the island. The cottage is beautiful, spotless and all you need for a relaxing week is here. We received a very generous supply of food and drink when we arrived, plus other items such as shampoo, shower gel, etc.

The Cottage was presented to a very high standard - decor, facilities, furniture and cleanliness. We felt very spoilt and comfortable at Hardy Cottage. We would highly recommend this Cottage.

Beautiful cottage newly refurbished to a very high standard .

Welcome package was very much appreciated and so thoughtful.Owners are close by if you need anything . Lovely enclosed Garden has comfortable lounging / dining furniture added bonus was the large gas barbecue. Area was peaceful and yet close to all amenities, the beach is just a 5 minute stroll at low tide you can walk for miles. Great base to explore Anglesey and N. Wales. Would highly recommend Hardy Cottage.

A really lovely cottage.

Very nicely decorated and appointed and felt at home straight away. Generous 'welcome' items were much appreciated and five adults and one dog had a great time. Look forward to another visit.

Hardy cottage was really lovely, everything we needed was in the property with a nice bottle of vino and cake, milk and butter left for us and a sea view too so what’s not to like.

Our weeks holiday was relaxing so just what we needed. Our 3 dogs loved it too, the garden was very secure and it was nice just sitting out with my fur babies in the evening, 5 stars from me thank you
