There was a generous welcome pack that was much appreciated. As others have mentioned we struggled to work the heating initially and feel better instructions on how to use this and other appliances would be helpful.
We didn’t use the outdoor space but it did look lovely and well equipped for the warmer months.
The beds were very comfortable.
Although the house was clean the lounge smelt of dogs.

Over all we were very comfortable there.
We encourage all guests to call the house manager or Sykes, on numbers given on both the information pack and the Sykes website, in the event of any problems. If you had called, we could have helped you with any issues immediately.
There are clear instructions in the information pack on controlling the heating and it really could not be simpler. Turn the Nest thermostat to the desired temperature, as shown on the display, and let go - the heating will set to that temperature. If guests try to adjust system settings or disconnect WiFi, we cannot help remotely.
The house is checked and deep cleaned after every stay and, although we do welcome well-behaved dogs, has not had dogs in this year prior to your stay. Again, if you had contacted us we could have checked and, if needed, done something about it at the time.
