We had a lovely stay here.

The beds were mostly comfortable. Especially the bunk beds. The mattress in the front room was a bit too soft for me, but that is to do with my back and a personal thing. It felt very comfortable. Our grandsons loved the television, which was easy to control. The furniture is nice, though we did miss a dining table. The breakfast bar only offers space for two and there were four of us. There were tablets for the dishwasher, but no detergent for the washing machine. Some ideas for improvement: 1) a shelf by the top bunk bed. Our grandson had nowhere to leave his books/toys. There was also nowhere to put an alarm clock for him so he could tell the time. 2) some more hooks for towels in the bathroom? The towel rack is quite a long way from the shower cubicle and you end up dripping all over the floor when you try to grab a towel from there. Maybe a hook on the door might help. The hooks by the back door are quite close together and towels didn’t seem to dry there. The main area for improvement would be the cleaning. The cottage wasn’t as clean as it could have been. The bathroom and the kitchen were pretty clean, and they are, admittedly, the most important areas. The bedrooms and other places were very dusty and cobwebby, especially the back bedroom. The fan on the fireplace has a thick coating of dust. There was dust and there were cobwebs in most of the corners in the back bedroom, on the skirting boards and behind the bed. One of the bowls in the kitchen drawer had a layer of mould in it. It looks like it had been put away with food residue still in it. The toothbrush mug in the bathroom was also not very clean.

Lovely place to stay and we did enjoy our stay very much.

The only feedback I’d give at the rear of the property wasn’t mentioned either in the listing or the welcome pack. When we eventually realised we used the parking everyday. A welcome pack of some description would also have been very nice even if it was only a pint of milk. Defo would stay again I hasten to add X

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage.

The best thing about this accommodation was definitely the breathtakingly beautiful view out the front. This property had everything we needed, clean, comfortable, lots of characters. The 3 of us had a perfect stay. Thank you very much

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous cottage

A cozy and extremely well appointed cottage in the perfect location for exploring North Wales.

The view of the surrounding hills was breathtaking! We would definitely recommend staying here.

We had such a brilliant time.

The place was perfect for us and has everything you need. Such a lovely little cosy place to stay with great facilities. The location is perfect and there are loads of walks on your doorstep.

Had a lovely stay here for Christmas.

Very cosy with the log burner going. The owner had made it very special for us by putting up a tree & some lovely decorations which we weren't expecting so that was a lovely surprise. We had a couple of queries which Annette the owner sorted immediately. The only problem we had was with the hob which we couldn't get to go but luckily we didn't need it as I used the microwave instead. Everything was beautifully clean & of high quality. We did have a couple of stumbles stepping down a level but once we got used to it we were fine. The welcome pack was nice touch too. All in all a lovely time was had. Thank you x

The property was exactly as described and as per the photos, it was spotlessly clean and very much like a home from home, we had everything we could need in the cupboards and drawers and despite the snow and storm Bert we where cosy and warm within.

The views are incredible across the valley and we found some great walks nearby and pubs. Fabulous modernised little place have already recommended to friends and family.

Perfect little cottage for a few days and very comfortable.

Not much to do in the village but we did eat at local hotel/pub which was nice and tonnes to do in local area.

Warm,cosy and comfortable for all the family and our dog.Excellently equipped with all you could need. Location is superb Great views from the cottage,walks in stunning scenery on the doorstep and easy drives to gorgeous beaches and all of Snowdonia. Shops and places to eat are all nearby, excellent and plentiful. Superb host. I will definitely return and cannot recommend highly enough to others.l

Disappointing stay.

The property was unexpectedly cold when we arrived. We were provided with a few pieces of damp wood to get started with the log burner, but it wasn’t enough to even get us through the first night. The house has heating, but the thermostat is kept in a locked box and you have to text the owner when you want it to be switched on. I felt uncomfortable having to ask someone on Whatsapp for the house to be warmed up. For the price I paid I just wanted to stay in a cottage where I could disconnect from being online and using technology for a week, so did not appreciate needing to use WhatsApp to ask to warm up the cold house. The cleaning products and hand soap were empty, which I was told would be addressed with the cleaner but I didn’t hear anything further. We bought our own cleaning products and found that the kitchen sides were dirty. The coat stand fell over when anything was hung up. It almost hit my dog and also narrowly missed hitting my partner in the head on both occasions that we hung something up on it. When communicating with the owner about my concerns above, she just referred to the positive reviews that had been left before and I would have appreciated if more was done to acknowledge my concerns and to rectify the points I had raised. 

Great, well located base to explore from - lots to do within easy reach.

Cottage is just as described. Would happily stay again.
