Bro Gwylan

We had a wonderful stay at Bro Gwylan.

The property is in an amazing location, very comfortable with breathtaking views. We loved the easy access to the lovely local coves, the quick trot into Porthmadog for food in the evening and days out to other villages in the area. Just a stunning part of the world. The only downside was the property was not as clean as it could be and the overflowing drawers and cupboards are a little off putting. (I couldn’t help myself and had to do a bit of tidying and cleaning but, on the plus side, I did find the iron!!)

Wonderful house in a fantastic location.

Views are incredible and constantly changing with tides and the weather. Bro Gwylan is very comfortable, clean with good facilities. Fabulous walks in any direction. Just unpack, relax and recharge!

Comfortable nicely laid out property with fantastic views over the coast.

Ideally situated for walking and near enough to Porthmadog to make everything convenient. We would definitely return to Bro Gwylan.

Lovely house with stunning views, attention to detail with cleaning in cupboards and draws could be better, facilities inside house very good and very comfortable.

Overall the views outweigh everything, beautiful.

What a lovely week in Borth Y Gest.

My grandparents lived in nearby Morfa Bychan and I have such fond memories of the area, so Bro Gwylan was the perfect location for a reminisce. The views are spectacular and the house is ideally placed for walks along the Wales Coast path, Moel y Gest and further afield. We had everything we needed, lots of space and the beds were super comfortable. Can't wait to visit again one day.

We just wanted to say a big thank you for another lovely stay at your holiday home. We had a wonderful week again — it really is such a comfortable and beautiful place, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. There were just a few small things we wanted to flag, purely so you’re aware: 1. We broke a wine glass during the week — just to let you know. 2. The boiler seemed noticeably noisier than we remember from last year, especially in the bedroom beside the bathroom. It wasn’t a major problem, but it was loud enough that Jack ended up moving to the room downstairs as it was quieter. We thought it might be worth mentioning in case it needs a quick check. 3. The coffee machine appeared to be missing the hose that draws milk from the reservoir. Not an issue for us, but just for your information. 4. The friction stay sliders on the right-hand window in the bedroom above the living room seem to be damaged. We noticed it after a gust of wind blew the window open. We did a quick bit of research and it looks like a relatively inexpensive fix (around £15), and we initially thought about replacing the parts ourselves, but weren’t sure if it might have been a pre-existing issue, so thought it best just to flag it. None of these things affected the enjoyment of our trip — we just wanted to mention them so everything stays in good shape for future guests. Thanks again for another great week. Fabulous week at Bro Gwylan, beautiful views, great location, very comfortable and well equipped!

Enjoyed the walk to and from Porthmadog, even the hills!

The view was incredible and we'd love to go back one day. Very accurate description of how to find the property, which was essential.

Great property, nice and clean & well presented.

The owner was on hand if we needed him. Stunning views, loved watching the wildlife from the rocking chair & watching the moon rise over the water was amazing. Not too far from local amenities. Some walks to hidden little beaches not far from the house. Had a great stay here.

Very well appointed property in a stunning and quiet location with beautiful views across the estuary.

Plenty of wildlife to enjoy in the garden - particularly enjoyed the 2 herring gull chicks parading back and forth on the patio.

We had a wonderful time, the property had everything you could possibly wish for and more, Beautiful scenic views,Local buses to Get you around, would highly recommend going to Portmeirion which is approximately 15 mins on a bus.

I would like to thank Natalie for letting us stay in her beautiful home, will definitely be booking again.

What a wonderful place to visit.

The property was perfect, very clean and had everything in it you could possibly need. Beautiful sea views, excellent location 2 minute walk to harbour and excellent hidden away little beaches. Can’t recommend highly enough. Can’t wait to go back
