    “This is our second visit to Anchor Deck .”

    Perfect location with beautiful views. Lovely & warm, a well equipped kitchen, perfect shower room with lots of hot water, comfortable bedroom. Dog friendly beach over the road, stunning walks from the accommodation. Porthmadog very close by with shops, supermarkets, cafes etc. Enjoyed trips to Barmouth, Criccieth, Beddgelert , all close by, would love to have a third visit.

Gweldon Apartments is a delightful pairing of apartments resting in the coastal village of Borth-y-Gest, near Porthmadog, Gwynedd. Sleeping a total of nine guests, and with a close by beach and ample amenities, these apartments are well thought out for accommodating friends, families, and couples alike. The properties are close to a local beach, boasting seaside views, and views towards the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. In Borth-y-Gest you can find the Seaview Cafe Bistro & Coffee Lounge, as well as Borth-y-Gest Pillbox, however, head over to Porthmadog for a convenience store and a great selection of cafés, restaurants, and pubs, with options including The Australia, The Big Book Café, and The Ship Inn. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.
