Gweldon Apartments is a delightful pairing of apartments resting in the coastal village of Borth-y-Gest, near Porthmadog, Gwynedd. Sleeping a total of nine guests, and with a close by beach and ample amenities, these apartments are well thought out for accommodating friends, families, and couples alike. The properties are close to a local beach, boasting seaside views, and views towards the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands.
