We enjoyed another wonderful stay at Llannor.

The cottage is lovely, with a well-equipped kitchen, plentiful hot water and very comfortable beds - all of which is ideal when you have taken advantage of the excellent walking on offer nearby. The cottage is very well maintained and clean, and cosy even on the most inclement of Welsh days.

Cosy cottage in a perfect spot!

Wonderful coastal paths and beaches on the doorstep, as well as the picturesque harbour. Cottage was just right for the four of us, very comfy beds with everything we needed for our stay.

Comfortable, well appointed, parking immediately outside, in the middle of a lovely village.

The cottage is in a lovely area.

We walked to BlackRock sands then on to cricith which I highly recommend doing. Loads of information left by owner concerning walks, restaurants ect. Bed really comfortable. The TV doesn't have an Ariel and so you can only watch programmes on apps that you need to sign in to. You don't get option of live tv. The stairs are quite steep which is pretty normal for old cottages. We had an enjoyable week. Plenty of cleaning products available and a lovely shower. The owner was very informative. It's lovely and peaceful with a few squirrels visiting the garden. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

It's a lovely little cottage wonky stairs and uneven floors upstairs add to the charm.

The beds are sooo comfy. The cottage is well equipped and clean. The bath was a luxury as we dont have one in our flat. The back garden was lovely and perfect for Ron with it's back fate to the woods. Perfect for us too to sit in the sun with a cuppa and read. The coastal path was fab and it didn't take long to find the perfect beach fir Ron to enjoy a swim. It was really quiet. We had a lovely break.

Very comfortable and clean cottage.

Parking available directly outside. Plenty of walks nearby, into woods behind the cottage, along the coast path to Black Rock sands or into Porthmadog. Would love to stay here again.

A fabulous stay at Llannor , Very good location to stay ,easy access From a stroll to the harbour , a walk into Porthmadog or Short journeys along the coast .

The property was very well equipped and comfy . We don't have a dog with us but would be ideal for dog owners .

Small cottage, just right for retired couple.

Very well placed in Borth, moments away from harbour, beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen. Parking in road no problem. No shops in Borth but easy 20 min walk into Porthmadog and a few mins in car to Aldi/Lidl. "Seaview Cafe" served excellent food ( and ice creams to take away!)

The cottage is very cosy, well equipped and comfortable.

It is in a very convenient position to explore this part of North Wales in all directions, especially as there are so many interesting and historic places to visit. We had a wonderful time and hope to return for another holiday. Thank you.

Such a comfortable well equipped Cottage which met all our needs.

Loved the Portmeirion China lovely cushions and throws, felt so homely. Lovely short stoll to coastal path and harbour. Garden was an added bonus and did catch the sunshine. Had a delicious curry from the Glaslyn Indian in Portmadog, visited Portmeirion and also enjoyed a swim in Llyn Pardarn. Hope to visit again. Thank you. ❤️

Had a lovely stay at Llannor, beds are super comfy!

Which is a rarity in holiday homes. Well appointed kitchen and a great shower. We spent most of the evenings down at the beach. Tumble drier was playing up and a washing line in the garden would have been useful, but we managed with the clothes airer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Llanor.

The location for the cliff paths and beaches as well as an easy stroll into Porthmadog was perfect. The cottage was comfortable, quirky, well stocked and cosy. Everything we needed and the lovely bottle of wine that was left for our arrival was a nice added touch. The beds were comfortable with lovely snuggly duvets and pillows and the shower powerful and hot. Perfect. We will be back.

A charming cottage, peaceful and homely.

The location is perfect.

Llannor is a lovely small cottage in a great location, 2 mins walk from the Wales coast path.

It is tastefully decorated throughout, with comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped with lovely quality crockery. Liz, the owner, has provided extensive local information on walks, places to visit etc, which was very helpful. It was just perfect for us.

It was a very quirky cottage, mainly because of its sloping upper floors, which took a bit of getting used to.

It was very well equipped, and there were comprehensive instructions for all the appliances and heating. It was very cosy, and had some great walks along the coast nearby.

We had a wonderful week at Llannor exploring this beautiful part of North Wales.

We only used our car once the whole week for a trip to Criccieth as we walked for miles each day in all directions - along the estuary, the coast, to Porthmadog. The weather was very kind to us for the time of year and one of us - a keen photographer - rose early nearly every day to watch the sunrise over the harbour. We also enjoyed a birthday trip on the Ffestiniog Railway, a meal at Yr Awstralia and chatting to locals as we watched the world go by in Borth y Gest. Can't wait to return! Diolch yn fawr!

We had a super holiday in an area we know well and have been coming back to from time to time in over 50 years.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including a 'smart' TV so we could watch our church Services. The two weeks went all too quickly! John and Barbara

We had a wonderful time at Llannor.

The cottage was very cosy, comfortable, immaculate and had everything we needed. An amazing base, close to everywhere we wished to visit, including the steam train which was an easy walking distance away. Amazing experience for us all, including our dog who loved it! Everything was close at hand and the harbour in Borth Y Gest was one of the prettiest we’ve seen and cafe overlooking it was great. Beautiful coast walks and bays a few minutes from cottage. Owner very helpful and accommodating. A lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Thank you.

Ideally situated in Borth-y-Gest, it was clean, cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for really relaxing holiday. Have to give a special mention to the kitchen - lovely and modern with so much packed in - it was great to have the washing machine and dishwasher too! We highly recommend Llannor!

A lovely quaint old cottage in beautiful Borth y Gest.

Small but clean and welcoming. Steep staircase with quirky sloping floors upstairs. Modern well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils, huge larder style fridge containing a lovely bottle of wine, with small freezer compartment, dishwasher and washer dryer. Double bedroom, with extremely comfortable bed, overlooking a lovely feature rear slate patio area with table, chairs and loungers, a further garden area with woods beyond. Twin bedroom overlooking the front. Parking is opposite the cottage. Borth y Gest is a lovely unspoilt village and Llanor is within easy walking distance to some beautiful beaches, Samsons Bay being our favourite. Close to the Welsh Coastal Path there are many lovely walks in the area. An ideal place spot, close to the shops and amenities in Porthmadog (just a walk around the bay and boatyard) and within driving distance of other picturesque places on the Llyn Peninsula and further south towards Harlech. Excellent easy communication with the owner.

We loved the cottage, it had all of the home comforts we needed and was set in a beautiful location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach.

Lovely cottage in a pretty and peaceful harbour village.

Cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. Borth y Gest is a very friendly place but it’s worth noting there is no local shop but Porthmadog is minutes away by car and a pleasant walk via the coast path. There is also an excellent bus service. Loads of lovely walks straight from the door and plenty of interesting places to visit if you wish to go further afield.

The location of the cottage is great - about 100 yards from a bay with a view.

There's a cupboard full of mugs, glasses and everything you need for cooking and eating and drinking. The sloping floors upstairs caused some amusement. All in all, a great cottage for a holiday with sea and mountains close by.

2mins out the door on to the coastal path and beautiful beaches. It’s was great that you could walk into Porthmadog with its independent traders . Our Labrador certainly enjoyed. Would highly recommend this little gem. We will most definitely come back. I now have curtain envy

Absolutely fantastic property, full of character and age, but with comfortable beds, lovely bedding and very warm, good shower pressure etc.

Kitchen very generously equipped and with premium crockery, really a pleasure to use. Fantastic contact with the owner who is very warm and accommodating and real expert of the area (check out the cottage guide for walks, cafés etc). Fantastic location in the most stunning village and basically walking distance to Porthmadog (our best discovery was of a path along the shore both ways -to see amazing beaches or if you follow the curve of the bay and walk up between houses you will get to Porthmadog harbour (if you're not sure, ask at Sea view cafe). New cafe Bae Borth (?) really worth a visit, run by lovely Canadians - the chowder was out of this world, and great selection of cheese and local tipples to eat in or take away. 10/10, we'll be back!

Great location with walks in countryside / beaches straight out the front door.

We had a great week and unbelievable sunny and dry weather made it even more enjoyable.

The cottage was great - we particularly liked the very high quality towels, bedding, plates etc and we had everything that we needed for the week, and more! All super clean too, with easy parking in a lovely location close to the beach. Great communication from the owner beforehand (and provided in the cottage) and excellent recommendations for local cafes/restaurants/walks/sight seeing etc. A superb week and Llannor and Borth-y-Gest come highly recommmended

Tastefully modernised terraced house suited our needs perfectly.

Loved the decor and how some original fittings were retained. Peaceful setting near the bay and coastal path . ( Found the induction hob on the cooker ,a bit tricky to use ? )

Recently installed new kitchen and bathroom. We have stayed 3 times now and would love to return. Lovely and quiet, easy parking. Good contact with owner prior to stay. Totally recommend.

Llanor is very quaint and in a quite setting in Borth-y-Gest, with easy parking opposite the cottage.

This little place had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing stay. Clean and well-equipped, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are some lovely walks, in either direction, virtually on the doorstep. We walked to Portmeirion and also discovered a secluded bay in the other direction. Great late summer break.

We had a great time at Llannor.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here after visiting my parents staying at Llannor last September. We were the first guests in the cottage after the lockdown and it was beautifully clean and there were no signs of it not being used for months. We love the location of this cottage as it’s 5 minutes walk to the sea and we enjoyed sitting on the benches over looking the sea. A washing machine would be a really helpful addition to this cottage so that we didn’t have to return home with mountains of washing! However, there is no obvious space for it as the kitchen is fairly compact. Thank you for hosting our stay, we hope to return again!

The cottage is ideally located in quiet village with two cafes and a restaurant.

Lovely coastal walk and water front. Double and twin room with bathroom upstairs. Exceptionally powerful shower over bath. Flagstone floor kitchen and cosy living room. Rear access to pretty stepped garden with lovely hydrangeas, and garden furniture. Really peaceful and relaxing.

Left the car alone for several days- easy walk to Porthmadog. Very quiet and comfortable. Very pleasant and helpful owner. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

A sweet little cottage in a wonderful area of North Wales, we will definetley be booking again with Sykes Holidays this is our 2nd holiday now with this company.

We had a really excellent time - the information provided for Borth-y-Gest was great, the cottage was very comfortable, the whole weekend away was fabulous in a beautiful part of Wales (even in the rain).

We'll be back.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage superbly located for exploring Snowdonia, the narrow gauge railways of Wales and the lovely beaches on the Lleyn peninsular.

Parking is no problem in the road outside and all the shops you need are only a mile or so away. We look forward to our next visit.

This cottage lacks in hanging storage space as just a chest drawers in one room and lack of towels

The owner was very friendly and sent a useful list of suggested places to eat and things to do, as well as leaving lots of books and brochures in the cottage as well.

We ran out of time to do everything we wanted to do. The little touches like leaving matches, washing up liquid, tea and coffee were also much appreciated. Location was perfect to explore the area.
