It was a delightful experience staying at such a fantastic well appointed place we had a perfect time .

The weather and all the facilities were first class Thankyou for Welcoming us all Rhydian .

The property was very clean inside and outside, all the rooms and bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

Outdoor facilities are exceptional. The property is close to many excellent safe beaches. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone requiring large accommodation.

Wonderful farmhouse for our family get together.

Lots of space for everyone. Well located for various beaches and pubs. Recommend the Sun Inn. Party age range 82 to 2 years old. Weather could have been better but did not spoil the holiday.

Trewen is a spacious, comfortable former farmhouse situated on a working dairy farm.

Ideal for an extended family, it is immaculately clean and well equipped. Rhydian, the owner, is most obliging and responds immediately to any request. An added bonus for one’s holiday is the possibility of visiting the milking parlour where over 200 cows are milked twice daily. Trewen is ideally situated for enjoying the beauty of Llŷn.

We had a wonderful New Year stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place for four young families.

The house was incredibly spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and having en suite bedrooms with lovely bathing and shower facilities made such a difference. The kitchen space was brilliant and worked perfectly for us all. The owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond by taking the time to show our four young children around his working farm, which they absolutely loved. The location is fantastic too - a short drive to Abersoch beach / centre. We would absolutely return and are already looking at dates to come back together. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trewen.

The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The weather was mixed but we still managed to visit several lovely beaches. We also enjoyed watching the cows going out to graze and coming in for milking. A lovely place Thank you Rydian Norma. , Oct 2025

A spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped property, much bigger than it appears on the photographs.

The owner is easy to contact and quick to respond. We were a 3 generation family with three 2 year olds. The owner provided the cots and high chairs requested plus other suitable items e.g. plates, bowls. The garden is safe and big enough for outdoor games and there is lots of room for indoor play if the weather is bad. The house is well located for trips to several lovely beaches. I would highly recommend and intend to book again.

Absolutely amazing place!

It was so clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. We stayed as 8 adults and 2 young children and 1 dog. So much space and the bedrooms were huge, each with their own en-suite. Beds were so comfortable! Everything was extremely high spec and did not disappoint. The surroundings are beautiful and beaches are within a 10 minute drive. Our favourite was Aberdaron Beach. Dogs were allowed on but only on the left side which was fine as it was a beautiful sandy beach which was spotless as well. 2 pubs and a few cafes but our favourite was the bakery which had a cafe and roof top terrace. Such a friendly place. We will not hesitate to book this property again and from reading the guest book it seems we aren't the only ones. Farmer Rhydian showed us around the farm and was so friendly and easy going. You can tell he takes pride in his farm. If you're looking for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings and in a fabulous house please book here! Photographs do not do this place justice, it's amazing.

This is our 4th multigenerational holiday and have to say that Trewen is the best property we have stayed at!

It's modern, large, clean, really comfortable and caters for all ages (even has a small baby changing room off the living room). The whole family were amazed with it. Llyn Peninsula is a beautiful area, with plenty to do and see! Highly recommend Trewen!

Our second stay at Trewen.

Plenty of space for all our party. Age range from 2years - 81years. Very clean and easy to keep clean. A good base allowing easy reach of several beaches and pubs. Everyone wants to return next year ( will be our third visit). Just a matter of tying down suitable dates.

Trewen is a beautiful property.

It has been refurbished to a very high standard. Bathrooms & kitchen are fantastic. The garden is a sun trap, sheltered from the wind & with ample garden furniture. The weather was unusually hot & we should have asked for a sunshade really. Rhydian was friendly & very helpful. The location is idyllic & the cows were quiet! Milking happened without waking us each morning. Beaches & places to visit all nearby. We all had a great time, thank you.

This house is just stunning it’s 5 star accommodation.

We loved the kitchen all new appliances and two fridges. We used the kitchen most as it had a good sized table in there for eating but with the weather being so nice it had doors opening onto the patio which we just loved and so did the dogs, I can highly recommend this house it really is fabulous and the owner was there if you needed anything very quick to respond. We will definitely be back pure luxury and so much space

Trewen is a stunning property.

The pictures don’t do justice to the actually size of all rooms. Nobody was disappointed with any aspect. Kitchen extremely well equipped with a large dinning room that fit us all around comfortably. Every bathroom was huge too. Loved the walking in shower. The garden was a sun trap with plenty of space to run around for the young one. Rhydian was a delight and on hand if we needed anything or information. Great to sea the cows been milked too. Would highly recommend. Thanks Mark

We just returned home from a fantastic stay at Trewen - the house is beautiful, really spacious and spotless.

Every little detail had been considered, which meant we were able to relax and enjoy our stay (even with two toddlers!). I can’t recommend this house enough! We’d love to visit again in the future.

Stunning property.

Sets the bar high for other similarly priced cottages. Spacious, luxurious and well designed with quality in mind.

Couldn't have asked for anything more, everything was catered for the twin fridge freezers were very welcome.

This was our second time back at Trewen.

It is a fantastic holiday home based on a working dairy farm. Everything was just as lovely as it was last year. Delightful selection of goodies left for us including a barra brith to die for. The only thing I think was missing was an airer (I don't like to use tumble dryers) Great owner on hand if you need him (we didn't), he even let us go in and look at the newborn calves. We highly recommend Trewen.

Had a lovely stay at TREWEN.

Lots of room for everyone. Very clean with excellent facilities. Another three generation family plus dog get together. Owners very helpful with supplying extra garden furniture and barbeque. We are all looking to book next year - just sorting out convenient dates.

We’ve stayed at lots of Sykes properties as a large family and this one was perfect for us! The house being on a working dairy farm just added to the holiday experience for us and Rhydian the owner was super helpful and showed the children around the farm too. A wonderful holiday at a beautiful home.

Amazing house.

We’ve stayed in a few holiday rentals as a family of three generations and this has to be the best. Clean, comfortable and very well maintained. Spacious house that accommodated all of us easily and the five bedrooms all with beautiful en-suites made our stay even better. A well equipped kitchen and two eating areas gave us plenty of space for all to eat together. The house is within a short drive to plenty of beaches and to Pwllheli and Abersoch where there is a supermarket if you run out of supplies. Driveway huge, we had four cars between us and plenty of room for parking. The weather wasn’t the best when we stayed but as the house is so comfortable we didn’t mind spending time indoors . Would definitely return and will be recommending to extended family and friends .

Trewen was a fantastic place to spend our week's holiday.

On arrival Rhydian, the owner, had left a lovely welcome pack, which was very much appreciated. All bedrooms are ensuite with very good quality fittings. All the rooms are large and well equipped. Excellent utility room through the back door - great place to leave the muddy walking boots/ hang wet coats. Beautiful kitchen and as there were only 5 of us we used the kitchen table to dine and the large dining room table to spread out the maps. We have already booked for next year.

The property was excellent for our needs and we were very appreciative of the fact that Rhydian had obtained two travel cots and two high chairs for our 2 x one year olds.

The garden was brilliant for the little ones to play and we managed to have one bbq - the bbq was fab!! Thank you Rhydian !

After more than 20 years caravanning on the Llyn, we continue to discover new areas and new places to stay - what a discovery Tre Wen was!

Spacious, immaculate in every way, rural and quiet, yet in easy reach of the many beaches. We had a fantastic week, enhanced by the amazing weather. So much so, we booked again before we’d even shut the car boot! Thankyou Rhydian and TreWen for new memories and adventures to come!

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, recently converted ex farm house.

5 ensuite bathrooms were a real bonus for our 3 generation family stay. We had everything needed to make our holiday perfect. Welcoming host on an immaculate farm with 180 cows.

This property is perfect in every way.

The fixtures & fittings are of a very high standard. Large rooms, each spacious bedroom with its own en-suite. Kitchen fully equipped and more than enough cutlery & crockery. The outside is well maintained with comfortable seating & barbecues. The owners are in hand around the farm if needed , watching the cows come in for milking was a bonus. Although this property is in the countryside, it is only a short drive to local beaches.

We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes/cottages at least 7 over the years and Trewen is probably the best.

The outside space is huge and you can get the sun all day. It’s also well looked after outside and fenced all round so feels very secure for children. The kitchen is large and well equipped, the Dinning Room has a large table and seating for 12. Lovely spacious lounge, and all the bedrooms are large all with modern en-suites. Some have handy walk in wardrobes. There also a nice front conservatory which is great and catches the morning sun. It’s a very quiet location and there’s cows in the nearby fields. It’s not far from Abersoch which is lovely. Pwllheli is 10 minutes drive for a supermarket etc. A great house, ideal for a large family or large group of friends.

Possibly the best proper we have ever stayed in, everything finished off to a very high standard….

Just finished our 3 nights at Trewen.

Absolutely fantastic property. 3 families, 6 adults and 6 kids and we all had an absolutely fantastic time. The house us huge with loads of space for everyone and finished to such a good standard as it just been completed. The property is kitted out in every room with towels and comfy beds/pillows, all with en suites which are all excellent. The family room has a bath. It was spotless when we arrived and all decorated for Christmas with mince pie, sweets and treats left for us. Unfortunately it was raining the entire time were there and we couldn't enjoy the huge outdoor space available. The drive is so big you could fit plenty of cars on it. I can't praise this property enough. More plus points: Heated bathroom floors, heated throughout (it is so warm we had to turn the heating off most of the time), you can't hear people down stairs when you are upstairs, the kitchen is amazing with two fridges and freezers, induction hob, huge oven and combi, loads of plates, cutlery etc, so much space for everyone to do their own thing and didn't hear a thing from the farm which is right outside. We didn't get to meet the owner but we all wish we had to say thank you! We will be going back! Tip: The directions to the property were spot on, however the postcode isn't quite straight to the house, so for anyone tech savvy, the what3words for the house entrance are websites.inflation.skirt! Enjoy!

An amazing stay in a brilliant location with great views all round the property.

Very modern throughout and extremely useful to have a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Kitchen was very spacious but could have done with a few more pans and utensils. The garden was lovely and spacious with plenty of seating and Rhyddian even provided a BBQ for us all to enjoy. We were a family of 11 with a big husky and would love to return and highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of booking!

What an amazing house!

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away at this newly renovated house. It has been done to a very high standard. It is very spacious and has everything you need. The views are amazing. It’s in a very quiet area on a working farm. We enjoyed watching the cows pass by each day. The owner, Rhydian was absolutely amazing! He greeted us when we arrived and recommended places in the area to visit. He was always available if needed. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
