    “The accommodation was lovely, tastefully decorated and set in the middle of the countryside with plenty of walks on your doorstep.”

    However, the window above the sink didn’t open, so it was hard to get good air flow in. Further, things like the shampoo, soap, coffee, sugar and tea jars were all empty. If they are going to be provided then it would be good to refill them. The same for some cute battery candles, but no batteries provided. The biggest challenge for us was the outdoor space, it was not enclosed and shared the area with another shepherds hut. With two dogs we had hoped to have an enclosed private space ...

Because it wasn’t we couldn’t have the doors of the hut open, which makes it feel a little cramped. Perhaps it is the filter options available on the website but needs to be explicitly clear in the listing also. The website filters only allow for ‘garden’ (not ‘enclosed garden’) and the listing stated ‘private lawn’ so we thought it would be suitable for the dogs. It is a shame because it would be easy to put a fence around both of the huts to give them a private enclosed space.

We’re glad you enjoyed the accommodation and the beautiful area to walk , We’re sorry to hear that you thought it had an enclosed area but the booking site does not state this nor does the photos. It does have a private lawn to the front of the hut, with chairs etc but you’d moved them to the back with your dogs facing the other hut which we were quite confused about. The tea coffee sugar canisters are there for you to use, we do not provide anything to fill them. As for the candles. These were all checked before check in and were in working order. I’m sorry about the shampoo this had been missed as we do fill these in the bathroom for you (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) . Property Owner
