Surrounded by the countryside in Cilan near Abersoch, Gwynedd is this fantastic, semi-detached cottage, The Farm House.

An ideal base for a family of seven or two families looking to escape to the Llyn Peninsula, this lovely cottage enjoys access to allocated parking, making it easy to explore the local area, including its stunning beaches.

After parking, progress inside to find a living/dining room, a perfect space for relaxation, with its exposed stonework giving it a touch of charm, and plush seatings allowing you to unwind in front of the TV with Netflix or Amazon TV and a glowing woodburning stove.

After you've relaxed for a while, make your way into the kitchen/diner, an impressive and well-equipped space offering everything you need to make mouthwatering treats, including a range cooker with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and a dishwasher.

These treats can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar as a quick meal on-the-go, or over in the living/dining room as a sit-down affair.

After dinner, why not head out to the front, raised decking and savour a night-time dip in the hot tub?

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
