Great cottage with beautiful sea views from the rear & very comfy outdoor seating.

It is in a good location for getting out & about. The cottage was well furnished with a comfy bed it is very clean & welcoming We would definitely recommend it & hope to return again

Perfect lovely cottage.

We love coming here so much we are back again in July. The refurbishment of the cottage is lovely but please,please put the drawers back in the bedroom wardrobe as I had nowhere to store tops & shorts. If you want peace & quiet with 2 lovely gardens both getting the sun different times of days, with a circular walk including the local pub, Kinmel Arms to enjoy a quick or not pint. This is our home from home & see you in July

This was our 3rd visit to Bwthyn, and as always, we relaxed as soon as we arrived!

The new refurb to the cottage has made it extra special, and very comfortable. It's lovely not to have to use the car, but simply to walk down to the village or onto the various cliff paths, and enjoy the beautiful views. Perfect!

The cottage was well equipped and had recently been refurbished.

The king size bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and living areas were spacious. This was our second visit and we will be returning for a third.

We've stayed 3 times and have found the cottage perfect for our needs.

Close to the coast and a short walk from cafe and pub. It's a great location from which to tour the island. The refurbishment has improved the cottage overall. Although we did love the old armchairs! It's also a great place for our dog. Hope to return again soon.

A well kept property just having a complete makeover, a nice peaceful area, easy access, dog friendly garden, our second visit the last about 15 yrs ago.

Lovely relaxing place.

A lovely cottage that provided an ideal base for the festivities in the village over the weekend.

Nice welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. Have walked past Bwthyn hundreds of times through the years and often thought it would be a nice place to stay. It lived up to expectation.

The cleanliness of the property was great.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the shower head. A previous customer had stuck it together (see a note in the comments book) . This came unstuck again and I bought tape to try and stick it, but water was still leaking out. As we left before the end of our week, I did phone the owner to say we were leaving early and reported the shower head to them. The heated towel rail was not working, but there was a fan heater in the bedroom cupboard for use. All told it was a lovely break as always, perfect place to chill.

Lovely little cottage in a great location.

Handy for the coastal path just down the lane from the cottage. A short drive into pretty Moelfre where you will find Ann’s Pantry a delightful cafe with good food and the Kinmel Arms a pub serving a great menu of delicious meals. I believe the cottage is having a makeover in February I can’t wait to see this.

One of the best little cottages we have stayed in could not complain about anything great week in anglesey

We have been coming to the cottage for around 15+ years.

We first came when the previous owners owned it. It always happy to come back,it is our home from home. This time we were fortunate to meet the now owners, who advised us that a refurbishment is going to take place in February 2026. This is needed,not because of any problems!! But it is required. It is a wonderful quiet location with a lovely friendly pub nearby with good food and friendly staff. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. Would recommend,backed up by the many years we have been coming. We are already booked for next year.

Stayed here 5 times now, where the cottage is it’s just idiotic and as a lovely enclosed garden back and front for your dog but the cottage it’s self is looking very tired now needs updating, we enjoyed the lovely walks and going to other beach’s a few miles away, had a nice week thank you Jane, David and Buzz.

Shower door kept coming off runnrs.

Everything else was fine. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.

We absolutely love it there. The only negative is that the shower needs updating but otherwise it's a little gem. Miss my morning views, perfect for walks and exploring.

Fantastic as usual had a few hiccups but they were sorted straight away , we had an amazing time away had the weather which helps see you again next year

This was our second time at this location and we like that it has a home from home feel to it.

It's a great base for touring the island, but, also has sufficient local amenities if you don't want to wander far from the cottage. Good for walking with a footpath taking you straight onto the coastal path. The cottage is small, but, comfortable with everything you need for the stay. The only issue we had was the holder for the shower head needs replacing as it lets the shower head drop. Would return for a further stay.

A lovely cottage well situated with off road parking.

High standard of cleanliness especially bedding. Small sofa or easy chair in front room would have been nice. Kitchen well equipped with starter cleaning products. Garden to front was great but latch on gate needed attention (a minor detail but dog escaped on one occasion). Patio at rear lovely. Struggled with recycling had to go to car park as bins not available ( not too difficult just down the road). Lovely coastal walk straight from the cottage. Was early in year so would like to see how front area looks in summer as stainless steel chairs and table were not inviting (mucky). A little TLC around entrance to cottage would be nice. Really no complaints!

We were so pleased with cottage that we tried to book again for September but their first full week vacancy is next March- we have booked next year!

! The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. It's location in the village was very convenient. The front and back gardens were lovely sittting areas and the views of field and sea from the rear garden was super.

Amazing little find, in a great location, perfect for our short break.

The heated towel rail in the bathroom was not working and the lounge storage heater was not giving any heat out although it appeared to be on.

The electric fan heater in the lounge provided enough heat in the evening and there was also a fan heater in the wardrobe in the bedroom which I used for the bathroom. Otherwise everything was good and very comfortable as always. It has not put me off booking again,

Second year running stayed at this property.

Everything included that you could possibly need. Enclosed garden front and rear so dog could come and go as she pleased. Perfectly situated for many dog walks and only 10 minutes drive from a lovely dog friendly (tide permitting) beach at Benllech. Anglesey is a beautiful area and there are many interesting places to explore. Would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a break away with there pet.

We had a very enjoyable week in this cottage.

We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable and welcome. We enjoyed lots of walks locally. We watched some amazing sunsets from the back garden. Altogether a very peaceful weeks break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable little cottage.

It had an excellent quiet location, close to the coastal footpath and with easy access to the village and harbour with all its amenities. We particularly liked the enclosed and spacious front garden and the rear courtyard with its panoramic views of countryside to the sea. We can see why it is a firm favourite with guests making return visits

Had all the facilities you need and the bed was really comfy.Our dog loved running up and down the garden . Great location within walking distance of Moelfre and lovely coastal walks to Lligwy beach. Ideal location for exploring the island and we were luckily enough to have good weather . Would definitely consider returning.

We loved this cottage walks to the beach from your doorstep , the cottage was everything we hoped for and the milk and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch , we have already booked again for next year I would recommend this cottage a little gem .

This is one of the best cottages we've stayed in.

It was a good size for us and the dog. It is well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Secure garden and off road parking is always a bonus. Location is excellent for the coast path and the village facilities are all within a few minutes walk. We did find the armchairs not to be the most comfortable, but, that doesn't detract from the overall quality. Would happily come back again.

All you need is here. Close to coastal walks, beaches and woodland and forests. Good location for exploring the island. Cottage is cosy and well maintained. Peace and quiet - just what we wanted. This is our second visit and will consider a third visit.

I stayed here for 2 weeks just me and the dog and it ticked all boxes! I echo all the previous positive reviews. Walks from the door to the harbour or down to the coastal path and beyond. Kinmel Arms is excellent, dog friendly and lovely grub! Owners very efficient and friendly.

Once again had a wonderful stay.

We have been going to this cottage for 12+ years. First time when was owned by the previous owners. Feels like home. Have already booked for next year. Just for information. The bed frame needs tightening as very loose Can't wait till next year. Love every minute we are there. X

Our second stay at the cottage.

A lovely clean cottage greeted us. Everything you need for a weeks holiday. One enclosed garden to front and an enclosed patio to rear with a gorgeous view of the sea to ship watch. We had one wet day but plenty to do around the island. Visited places we never got to visit last year. Lovely gift of Welsh cakes to enjoy. Booked again for next year. The only minor thing was the lighting in the bathroom was poor, although my wife found it OK.

Loved this cottage, with two usable gardens one east facing, one west, with open, quiet and direct views of country and sea!

Perfect for following the sun and for sunsets!! Warm and comfortable for two, every space cleverly used, everything we needed was there! Lovely location near to a sandy beach, the coastal path and the small resort of Moelfre. Felt sad to leave! Yvonne.

Lovely cottage in probably the best location in the village for us.

Very peaceful. Warm and cosy. Good size rooms. Comfortable mattress. But we didn't find the chairs terribly comfortable. Plenty of good size saucepans and frying pans . Loved the stable type door in the bedroom. Already missing the view and the sound of the lambs. We recommend this cottage.

Bwthyn cottage is in a lovely location.

Great views from the bedroom window. Well equipped kitchen, bed very comfortable and shower very powerful. The cottage was very warm and cosy. The only thing I would change is the two chairs for a two seater settee but that is personal choice. Would definitely book this place again.

The cottage was warm with comfortable bed and pillows, everything you needed for a really lovely stay, garden back and front for enjoying the Sun morning and afternoon so we have rebooked for next year highly recommend Pam and Alan and Jak the dog

An amazingly clean and comfortable holiday accommodation-we could easily live there!

Two things would make it perfect- change the 2 lounge chairs for a reclining sofa and fix the large amount of damp spores forming around the door and walls in the bedroom.

Lovely place and location, clean and well equipped, plenty of information in the info book, would benefit from better lighting outside, we arrived in the dark and had to use a torch to see key safe numbers,

The property was very clean and compact but with everything you needed. The only issue would be the two chairs in sitting area a small two seater sofa would be much better and comfier but apart from that it was perfect.

My second visit to Bwythyn this year and just as enjoyable as the first.

Cottage situated in a lovely position only 3 minutes walk from the coastal path. Beautiful views across the fields and out to sea at the rear of the property. For anyone who likes a good walk there is a regular bus from Moelfre to Amlwch or Benllech enabling you to do a linear coastal walk.

The property was very well kept, with everything you could possibly need, The bed made me realise that we need a new bed at home as it was so comfortable.

A lovely big shower, and the heaters in the lounge and bedroom where very efficient. The gardens back and front where very safe for our dog, she loved it, hope to be back again.

It is the ideal holiday cottage and in lovely surroundings. It is always clean and tidy and has everything you need.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous village, exactly as represented.

So many wonderful walks and the coastal path is around 5 minutes away. The field at the back, accessed by us from the gate in our secure back garden was an amazing bonus, our dog loved it, she also loved the secure, front lawned garden. Being able to see the sea from there and our bedroom and kitchen was lovely. The local people were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our morning and evening walks down into and around the village and lifeboat station. The cottage was warm and cosy, the bed very comfy, everywhere was spotless and the Welsh cakes were a lovely surprise, thank you. One downside for us is that the cottage is already booked for next year so we have to wait until 2024 to go back. A real gem in wonderful surroundings.

What a lovely and comfortable stay I've had in Bwthyn.

Absolutely loved waking up go look out over the views that I'm still missing looking out at. Myself & cocker spaniel had an ace stay & enjoyed making use of the gardens & wondering around the field to the rear of the cottage. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. Looking forward to staying again.

We absolutely love staying at Bwthyn and have stayed here each year for several years.

It is perfectly positioned for coastal walks from the door and the facilities of Moelfre within a five minute walk. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a lovely enclosed front garden and small patio at the back which opens onto a large field. Perfect for the dog who enjoys the visit as much as we do!

The property was pristine when I arrived as always.

Everything you need provided for. I had a problem with the TV in lounge but called the number provided and a lovely lady arrived within 10 mins and sorted it. I have been coming to cottage quite a number of years. It is ideal and in a lovely spot. Booked again to.come twice next year.

Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden back and front. The views from the rear of the property are wonderful looking over farmland and the sea. Absolutely perfect location and cottage.

Every need was met. The cottage was very well maintained, cleanliness spot on. It was like living home from home except for a full week I could look out of the kitchen window and see the lambs in the field, see the blue sea, it was idyllic. Will certainly book again. Well done to the owners.

Warm and cosy with beautiful coastal walks on the doorstep. Comfy bed and really good shower. Our hosts were more than kind. We had a power cut the evening we arrived, several properties so one of those things. Candles, equipment to make a hot drink and brandy to keep us warm was brought to us. We had a wonderful memorable stay. ( plus we got married on the Thursday ). We booked the cottage before the wedding was planned so a lucky find. X

Excellent accommodation, just what we needed.

Dog friendly garden front and back, we have one large dog and it was perfectly adequate. Lovely views, 5 minute walk to the village and small beach. Pity there aren’t any vacancies in the summer as we’d definitely like to return when it's a bit warmer. Highly recommended.

Bwthyn was a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage.

It is five minutes walk from the coast and the village, yet far enough away to maintain privacy. Perfect for our dogs who loved playing in the garden and standing guard at the garden gates. We do feel the accommodation would benefit from an electric shower, rather than relying on an immersion heater. A sofa would be better than two reclining chairs, as this cottage is aimed squarely at couples. This was our second stay at Bwythn and our third visit to Anglesey. We will definitely return soon to this enchanted island.

Everything we needed in the cottage. Two lovely enclosed gardens for our dog to run around in. Could do with a parasol on rear patio. Good base for travelling around the island. Would definitely book again. And thank you for the lovely Welsh cakes.

Good shower. Nice quality equipment/furnishings. We had excellent weather during our week, however if it had rained all week I think we would have found the space limiting. An enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Nice quiet spot (apart from some building work going on) The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

The garden and patio get the sun all day between them. Had a good week there and would go again.The only downside was the shower was a bit to high for my wife to get in being disabled.

The cottage is ideal and situated in a lovely spot and I always enjoy staying there. There is everything I need and it is always spotlessly clean . I would not wish to stay anywhere else. I always find Sykes representatives very helpful and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this small but lovely cottage, the location was ideal for the coastal walks and visiting the area.

Very dog friendly.

The quit cover was ripped, the fitted sheet was to small for the bed.

The bed needs attention as frame was quite loose and creaking when you moved. The shower door was not fitted at the Bottom on one side and actually came off from the top at one point when I was getting out of the shower and landed on me.

We thought that this cottage was spot on we really enjoyed are stay it was very nice to be able to relax and let our dog in the garden and all so to let him have a run on the field at the back of the property

Our second visit to Bwthyn Cottage and we have already booked a week here next year.

It is a comfortable, warm and well-equipped cottage for two people. The location is lovely with views towards the coast - you can lie in the cosy bed and look out to sea! There is easy access to the coastal path for walks from the house.

This property has one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in and people should dine at The Boathouse in Red Wharf bay-fantastic and plentiful food.

As a number of other guests had commented the Settee was uncomfortable.

A better solution would have been two separate armchairs

This little cottage is warm and cosy ( the weather was not very good) and had absolutely everything you could possibly need, the bed especially was so very comfortable you didn’t want to get up in the morning.

The outside areas looked lovely and sunny days would be idyllic. The bed linen, towels and curtains where all top quality, also the tray with cake, coffee and tea, plus the pint of milk in the fridge as a lovely welcome. Will definitely be back. Edna thomas

Great location and plenty walks nearby, pub, shop and chippy within walking distance, would have benefitted from having some shade in the rear garden was a lovely place to sit a sunshade would have been great.

A really comfortable, well equipped cottage in a great location.

The fine weather enabled us to make the most of the two outside spaces and having tables in the east and west facing gardens meant you could enjoy breakfasts and evening meals sitting in the sun. The village of Moelfre is in easy walking distance and the coastal path only a few minutes away, giving access to lovely rambles along cliff tops to sandy beaches. We have already booked another holiday in Bwthyn Cottage later in the year.

Lovely views from the back garden and front garden was great for the dog an added bonus was the field at the back where the dog could have a run. The cottage is in a lovely area walk out the front door through a small Caravan park straight on to the costal path. Great beaches a short drive away.

Recommended for 7 to 10 days for two people.

Bwthyn cottage is located in the village of Moelfre, Anglesea which is a superb coastal location, you only have to step out of the door in-order to join the coastal path taking you along the coast or alternatively to Moelfre harbour and the Life boat house.

Alternatively you are in a good location to join the road network covering the rest of Anglesea, the Southstack lighthouse and newborough beach are well worth visiting. We shall certainly be returning to this cottage in the future. J.M. Bell - Lincolnshire
