The Summerhouse

The holiday was very good but having to leave by 9 is not helpful and contrindicated for older people taking a regime of medication.

It is not good to feel disabled within the family.

Well situated with lovely views along the Menai Straits.

Well maintained with quality furnishings.

This was our second visit to the Summer House and once again it was immaculately clean .

The house is comfortable and well equipped with outstanding views and fabulous sunsets. There is always something interesting to look at .

This was the first time in staying at the summerhouse but it wont be the last!

We have stayed in the area previously many times and its beautiful. The summerhouse is bright and clean with comfy beds and seating. The kitchen is well equipped and the deck has some great seating to admire the view

The summerhouse exceeded our expectations, the view from the balcony was fantastic and the whole house has everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Great showers, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and fab views - it ticked all the boxes!

This is our second time at The Summerhouse.

It is absolutely lovely.There is everything you need to self cater or go out to the very good pub close by.The views are spectacular whatever the weather.There were only 2 points this trip.There had obviously been a leek ( stain on hall ceiling ) and the ground floor smelt of damp even though an air freshener had been plugged in.Also the freesat signal is not good so watching on catchup is a necessity.That said we will definitely be going back as we love it.Thank you to the owners for the goodies on arrival.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay, the house was immaculate.

The view from the balcony was amazing. Beautifully maintained area and very quiet. Short walk to a lovely pub, very welcoming and excellent food. Easy to travel around the area and also get to Anglesey. Lots of places of interest to visit, Snowdon Mountain railway was a highlight . We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Summerhouse to friends and family.

Great property with wonderful views

The first thing we noticed was the amazing new modern upstairs decking and veranda, along with the comfy new grey sofas.

These new additions made it even nicer than the pictures on the website. We had a wonderful peaceful stay in this fabulously clean modern home. Everything was immaculate and the owners had thought of everything as it was so well kitted out with all we needed to make our stay go smoothly. Obviously the views are incredible, we could never get tired of the ever changing views of the Menai. We will definitely book this again.

Superb location with wide views of the Menai Straits.

Very well equipped holiday property, everything you need plus a nice welcome pack. The property is sited on tge shoreline of a small private development, communal lawns, roads and pathways well tended and clean. The location at Y Felinheli is excellent for exploring Snowdonia with quick access to the main valley routes that feed into the mountains. Also good place for cycling with gentle gradients along the coast. Considering the location, the condition and the facilities in the property it was very well priced.

The Summerhouse was fantastic.

As a family of 5 it was well suited to us. Had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The views are amazing, it’s a great base to explore Anglesey and the Welsh North Coast. Would definitely recommend.

This is a fabulous house in an incredible setting, always something to watch and very relaxing.

A beautiful holiday home, with the balcony and views of The Menai Straits you could truly switch off and relax.

The facilities were as advertised and the welcome pack an added bonus. There was only 2 of us, but we appreciated having the place to ourselves.

All sorts provided for us, views were fantastic, lovely welcome pack. The only thing we where bothered about was having to leave at 9am.,far too early.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was a lovely and it felt as if we were on a boat, lovely seeing the Menai Straits in every weather.

Wonderful view of the Menai Straits, comfortable and clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in The Summerhouse. The home was well equipped there was also books, dvds, and games. I really can’t fault it. In a really good position for days out to Anglesey, Snowdon, Llandudno and the Lyn Peninsula very good bus service to Bangor and Caernarfon and the North Wales coastal path runs right passed the door. Thank you for the use of your lovely home. Would definitely book again.

A really well equipped property, very comfortable and with nice little touches.

Obviously the owners have taken a lot of thought into providing the best in terms of an information pack, good bedding, plenty of cutlery and crockery and a welcome pack. The view from the living area and balcony is stunning and what can be better than sitting out there with a glass of fizz? We enjoyed most meals out there as the weather was kind for most of the week. The estate is quite secluded and peaceful, but within walking distance of the marina and a very good pub. We were surprised to see a peacock near the entrance to the complex one day, but didn't hear it. A lovely property for a very relaxing holiday, but with plenty to see within a short distance. Thankyou.

Fantastic property!

1 of the best we’ve ever stayed at. The views were stunning and location perfect for exploring the area. We used it as a base for heading to Anglesey for Porth Wen brickworks and swimming, walking the coast path, heading to Llanberris to swim at Padarn, Llandudno for the whisky distillery and chocolate experience, Bangor and Caernarfon. The property had everything you could need and more. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and furnished. There was 6 of us staying; all adults but there was tons of space and privacy so we weren’t on top of each other. Lots of storage and provisions provided - fun evenings playing Cluedo and watching the sunset. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The weather was glorious,the views from the lounge terrace/balcony were beautiful.Just to sit and watch the boats/paddle boarders and wildlife was really quite something.The cottage had everything we needed.The kitchen was modern and well equipped with easily understood appliances ( instructions were in the easy read info the owners had left for guests ). There were only the 2 of us but to have 2 bathrooms was great.The information was correct the spiral staircase would have been difficult for some people but if you are careful it is easy enough. The cottage was spotless and the welcome pack was really appreciated.We would definitely book again and stay in such a great holiday home.

There was a much appreciated welcome pack when we arrived. The views from the balcony over the Menai Strait are stunning in all weathers. Sitting out in the evening sun was amazing. Y FelinHeli is a lovely fishing village with some great places to eat and it’s a fantastic location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. We would definitely stay here again.

The Summerhouse is a very comfortable and well maintained property and is in a great location for Snowdonia, Anglesey, and the Llŷn Peninsula.

The star of the show however is the balcony. You’ll spend hours there gazing out at the wonderful view.

Lovely cottage, spotless and very comfortable with amazing views of the Menai Straits.

The location is quiet and peaceful, with a cafe, tapas restaurant and pub restaurant and a pretty marina close by. Good base for exploring North Wales and the coastal path. Even saw seals, cormorants and a heron from the balcony! Would love to make a return trip sometime.

This accommodation is superb, very clean and well maintained and with the bonus of an amazing sea view.

The holiday was very enjoyable, Summerhouse is an excellent position with unrivalled views of Menai Straits and the many sea birds on view are fabulous.

The house itself is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend Summerhouse to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing break away from it all, whilst many excellent day trips are possible a short drive away. We will happily return at some time soon.

Lovely clean property in a stunning location overlooking the straight.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is provided. Great location for visiting all the surrounding tourist areas. Already planned another stay at this property.

We had an outstanding stay at the property with no issues whatsoever.

My only recommendation is to supply a hair dryer - if there was one in the house, we couldn't find it. Thank you for having us!

We had a superb holiday here with our friends and we all said that this had to be the best place we have stayed together and that we would come back without hesitation.

The proximity and views of the straits from the deck and the upstairs bedroom as the tides ebbed and flowed each day was fantastic. We even saw seals swimming by. A lovely property in a stunning location.

We were well pleased with this property, its location and intend to stop again when stopping in this area of Wales in the future.

A home from home with everything supplied that you could possibly need for a great holiday. The Summerhouse was very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable.The welcome pack was a nice suprise and very useful on arrival. I have no hesitation in recommending this property for a fantastic holiday.

A fantastic location and wonderful accommodation

We enjoyed our stay at the Summerhouse.

The beds were really comfortable and the views from the rooms amazing. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The place was well equipped, the only thing missing was a vacuum cleaner to pick up any bits on the carpets. It was also convenient for the mountains and the seaside.

Excellent location and a property with everything we wanted.

The view is outstanding and the open plan nature of the first floor gave a sense of space. It was a very comfortable place and had been well thought out. It was an excellent base for exploring the local area. Trying to fit the key in the Key Safe was a challenge; there is obviously a knack that I did not have. That being the only issue, we were really pleased to have found this property. Would certainly recommend.

Fabulous location very nice house.

Egg cups and a teapot would be a useful addition and it was a disappointment that the great outside decking could not be used for a BBQ.

The deck was such a bonus - we find it hard at times to drag ourselves away from it. Amazing location with lots to do and see and a spotlessly clean and well equipped house.

Wow, this property has fantastic views! We loved sitting out on the balcony and watching all the boats go by. Peaceful private estate in a great location for exploring North Wales. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The property is modern, well equipped and has plenty of parking. We’re hopeful to return in the near future.
