White Sails

White Sails is lovely.

It is easy to park, nicely decorated and the views are just wonderful, especially at sunset. The property has everything you need. The WiFi is good. Y Felinheli is very quiet and peaceful and a great base for North Wales and Anglesey. Swellies is a great café to sit and watch the comings and goings of the little harbour. We would go back without hesitation.

The poperty was easy to find, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Parking was never a problem. Lovely views over the Menai from the balcony. It's a short walk into the village where there are a couple of cafes, a pub with a food truck and the Garddfon Inn which served very good food. Would definitely recommend this property.

We could not fault the accommodation, exactly as described.

Felt extremely homely and comfortable, a tasteful interior with everything you could possibly need provided. Cleanliness was excellent and maintenance to a high standard, it felt special staying there for a week. The views are second to none with the evening sun on the decking area and comfortable seating to enjoy it. The beds were also comfortable which can be very hit and miss with rented accommodation. We all throughly enjoyed our stay made even better by having a fantastic week of good weather. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

Luxury home from home that sets a high bar for waterfront properties, thoroughly enjoyed the stay - wet or dry the view is just perfect.

Lots to see and do within walking distance, castles galore if you fancy a short drive. Hadn't been back to this property in Y Felinheli in 50yrs, will be a frequent returner now

The property was well situated with lovely views. Inside the house is very comfortable, clean and well decorated. The location is ideal for exploring Snowdonia and the north Wales coast. Would not hesitate to stay again.

As soon as you walk through the door, you instantly relax.

We chose this place so that if the weather is bad we can have a comfortable place to relax, read & do boardgames. The house is exceptional in every way. Why would you leave your own comfortable home to be uncomfortable! This ticked every comfortable box. Well done to everyone involved.

The overall location, breathtaking views and the property itself, makes White Sails a fantastic place to stay.. We were blessed with some brilliant weather during our stay, which made the days and evenings on the balcony watching the sunset over the Menai very special but even without the good weather, the views from the property across the Menai Strait take your breath away... 100% we would recommend White Sails to anyone wanting to stay in North Wales and we will definitely be back...

This is a wonderful place to stay, very clean.

The views from the property are stunning! There was 6 adults in our party and we had plenty of space, very well equipped, beautiful modern comfortable sofas. Two lovely outdoor seating areas. Set over 3 floors, 2 double bedrooms on ground floor, middle floor lounge and open plan kitchen, top floor en suite double bedroom.Little village with 2 pubs and a handful of shops 5 minutes walk away.

Arrived Friday lovely view.

Went out Saturday come back to water dripping through light fitting, text housekeeper. Couple hours later got heavier text again to be told nothing can be done sat night. Waited till Tuesday and text them asking what's happening Couple of hours later was told roofer would be coming in the next few. All this time listening to dripping water got to us so we left 2 day's early. Also broken worktop. Two cracked tiles downstairs bathroom floor.

White sails is a great place to stay in an amazing location with fantastic views across the Menai straits.

The accommodation is light and airy with plenty of space. There's everything you need in the kitchen if you decide to eat in. It's only a short drive over the bridges to Anglesey and you're not far from the local amenities. Conwy and Llandudno are only 30 minutes away and an hour from Aberdaron. A must visit is to the beach at Newborough and the little fishing village of Moelfre in Anglesey. We Highly recommend White Sails

A hidden gem.

Absolutely beautifully situated. Spotless and furnished to our taste with quirky maritime ornaments etc. Missed a socket in the bathrooms for razor etc but everything else was superb. Would strongly recommend. One of the best sunset views we have ever seen.

Very nice property with a well stocked if dated kitchen.

Other furnishings very nice and comfortable with a good shower and large bath. Despite the terrible weather forecast we were lucky to see some fantastic sunsets from all the rooms and balcony.

We were delighted to find that the expectations arising from the excellent Sykes Advert were not misplaced, a great holiday retreat, particularly for 4 / 5 people.

Lovely house, great views and an easy flat, short walk to the local cafe overlooking a small locked Marina with a history dating back to the slate mines. A useful facility for the 'oldies'. The house has a great south westerly facing sundeck and there are glorious sandy beaches not far away for the sun seekers. We had mixed weather during our late September stay but the house proved to be snug, comfortable and warm. We used it as a base to explore North Wales, it's resorts, it's Castles and National Trust houses with their historical treasures such as - https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wales/plas-newydd-house-and-garden. The 'Welsh Food Centre' - https://www.bodnant-welshfood.co.uk - was also well worth a visit for Sunday Lunch! A holiday to remember and we would love to return to 'White Sails'.

We have had a fantastic holiday and White Sails is absolutely perfect.

The 6 of us were extremely comfortable and the views were out of this world. Everything was provided and helped to make our stay very enjoyable, even dog treats were available for Buddy! Plenty to do in this beautiful area of Wales, we will certainly be returning and no other accommodation we have stayed in beats White Sails, it’s top of our list, thank you.

.... The house was large, very comfortable and had everything we needed for our holiday. We really enjoyed our stay, wished the weather was a little better but hey you can't have everything. Will definitely come back.

The location of this property is to die for, the views are incredible whatever the weather, just sit back on the decking or the upstairs balcony and chill.

Could not recommend this property enough. Beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need. Even the dog was catered for! Lovely village with great pub great food and all your essentials catered for. Plenty of walks and places to visit. The views from the property just breathtaking. We would definitely go back.

Absolutely stunning property.

What we love the most is the peace and tranquility of the area and everyone is so friendly. I also loved the massive downstairs bedroom and huge bathroom with two access points and the top floor en-suite was amazing. The pictures are great but really don’t do it justice. With luxury accommodation and stunning views, it doesn’t matter what the weather is doing. If you want to eat out try Swellies Cafe(3 min walk), Garddfon Inn (10 min walk), or Ty Golchi Restaurant (5 min drive). We will definitely rebook for next year.

Absolutely Perfect!

We had a wonderful holiday,the house is beautiful everything has been thought of ,a real home from home,the photos don't do it justice. We choose this place as my 88 Yr old mum has dementia and cancer and the downstairs room was perfect for her needs,while she slept we could could keep an eye on her whilst enjoying the balcony and lovely view. The bathroom was stunning we went out to buy bubblebath just to try it out ha ha. The decor was lovely as were beds/bedding pillows ect ,it was just perfect, I would recommend a holiday here to anyone , I can't think of a single thing that I would change,will definitely be booking again for next year.

The house is light, spacious and airy and the views are amazing - just as the listing shows. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay with some unexpected touches for our furry companion (dog biscuits and throws ). We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next year !

Thank you for the welcome treats! One thing would be helpful, as there is a constraint on the development about hanging things out a tumble drier or a washer/drier rather than just a washing machine would have been useful.

Excellent location to waterfront, very well cleaned/kept property with top of the range furniture and excellent view of Menai Strait, large downstairs bathroom, a lot of parking spaces.

Attic bedroom/en-suite may not be suitable to everyone due to spiral staircase and small size shower/overhead space. Property being in private grounds has limited short walk for dogs (with no bins specially for poobags) but a nice long walk within walking distance nearby outside of the marina e.g. Lon Las Menai

Not only was the location idyllic; the facilities were all that could be desired, the bed was comfortable, we were impressed with the quality of the fittings and furnishings, and particularly enjoyed the carefully co-ordinated decor throughout. Thank you; we would love to return. The welcome pack was unexpected and very much appreciated.
