Pistyll Ddu

Lovely new build property in ideal spot for getting to know Anglesey.

As previous reviews access is tight, but fine once you work out the correct angle to turn in to the drive. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for self catering and family meals. With three generations it was nice to have a separate lounge and tv as well as the games room which was very well used every evening by our grandsons. Newborough beach was our favourite spot and a must see, but go early as they close the road once the. car park is full.

We have just returned home from our visit to Anglesey.

The house is amazing, There is every thing you need for a large family here. The house is very clean, the hot tub was very clean too. We would definitely stay again.

We have just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay with our grown up children and their partners.

The house was just as advertised- a great size, very comfortable and better equipped than other holiday homes we have stayed in. We encountered a minor issue whilst there but this was speedily resolved by the owner and didn’t detract at all from our experience. Whilst the village itself is very quiet ( with only a small shop and a pub open Thursday to Sunday) it proved a great base for exploring Anglesey and Wales and it was lovely to come back to the peace and quiet after a long day exploring. We would wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Unfortunately despite the lovely photos and decor the property itself wasn't up to the same standards.

We arrived 45 minutes before check-in time and there was a plumber there working on the boiler and he advised the cleaners were still in the property too. Within 6 hours of check-in the upstairs shower was leaking(but we hadn't realised) and by the next morning after three uses it was coming into the hallway. It took 2 hours to get in touch with Sykes who then put me in touch with the property owner. Unfortunately he couldn't get a plumber out until the Monday our day of departure. So 7 adults had one shower to use between as the shower head on bath was also damaged/faulty.

Great size house for the 8 of us, clean and safe for the little ones.

The hot tub was a great attraction for us and we definitely made use of it. The kitchen had every gadget you could need and was big enough for us to make big meals for the whole group. The external games room was a hit although we brought the giant connect4 into the garden as we all love that game! Brilliant location, close proximity to a lovely pub. The entrance to the house is a little tight, so be prepared but plenty of parking once you are down the alleyway.

Lovely house couldn’t fault it, Decorated to a high standard, very clean.

Hot tub was great, the games room was a welcome bonus. I would definitely recommend this property, we will be back.

Accommodation was immaculate and catered to all our needs. Perfect location to beach and shops. We all had a wonderful stay.

Lovely stay at Pistyll Ddu.

The accommodation is new and high spec. Lots of room for 8 people - there were only 4 of us and the games room and hot tub were an added bonus. Plenty of parking too. Lovely views from the balcony and you can watch the sheep, lambs, rabbits and hares in the nextdoor field through the fence. Garden is well maintained & dog proof if you were to take your pooch. The access as mentioned in a previous review via the track/lane is quite narrow but once you work out the best angle to turn in it's quite easy and it's only very short length before you get to the property. Our Tesco delivery just parked at the top and brought everything down on a trolley. Will and the team are really helpful & nothing is too much trouble. We hope to return in the future.

We got back from Pistyll Ddu last week after the most amazing stay.

Such a beautifully done house with no expense spared. Owners couldn’t do enough for us and we want to thank them so much for everything they’ve done, from the welcome basket to sorting out the smallest of issue we had straight away. Beds and sofas were comfy, every item possible was in the kitchen, hot tub was amazing and the scenery around the house was lovely. We woke up to lambs playing! Beautiful location with Newburgh beach just down the road and plenty of lovely pubs about. One tini tiny issue, just for anyone to note in future is that the entrance to the road is very narrow, not a problem for us even in a van, but we just had to offload our Tesco shop on the main road as their van couldn’t get down to the house. Didn’t bother us in any way, it’s just if anyone else orders Tesco or has a larger vehicle be prepared. We would absolutely love to return some time soon! Thank you so much to the owners again.

We had a fantastic stay and were genuinely impressed with the facilities the jacuzzi and hot tub were a wonderful added touch that made our visit even more relaxing.

Will, Mike, and Alesha were excellent hosts who were responsive, attentive, and quick to address any questions or queries we had, which gave us real peace of mind throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their property, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place to unwind with great amenities and hosts who truly prioritise guest satisfaction.

We had a great stay, the house is exactly as you see on the pictures and well appointed.

Hosts couldnt have been better, quick responses when we had enquiries and then left us to it, not overbearing like some can be. The pub up the road was great and the beaches nearby are stunning.
