Lovely cottage in a great location.

We had a great stay at the old diary and would definitely come again.

The owner clearly cares too as he popped in a few times to see if we had any issues etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Dairy( it is our second year running!

) .The setting of the property ,in an enclosed garden and with marvellous views of Abersoch , is stunning. The rooms are spacious and well equipped,particularly the bathrooms and the kitchen/ dining room. However ,the sitting room is a little “tired” and the settees are a little uncomfortable. But in spite of that, the Old Dairy provides very enjoyable holiday accommodation.

We loved the house and it was in a fabulous location to explore the Llyn Peninsula.

A couple of comments for the owner: Lack of cleaning products - no hand soap in one bathroom, tiny amount of dishwasher liquid, no dishwasher tablets and only part rolls of toilet paper. First bedroom - ensuite shower is permanently on as the pull cord is not functional and there is a bulb out in that bedroom. Laundry - it would be good if the location of the laundry in the caravan park was more obvious. It isn’t in the folder of info and we only found it when looking for the rubbish bins on our leaving day. Despite these issues I would happily recommend the old dairy.

A wonderful place to stay with my husband’s and mother in law, who likes the quiet just perfect, house was amazing and would definitely recommend a visit, we will be back x

The property and garden was lovely however I didn’t think it was made clear that it was on the edge of a caravan site which when we were there was off season so quiet but not sure what it would be like when it was busy It was clean and tidy but perhaps was a just little short on glasses cups plates etc I think also the bedding could do with an upgrade as it was quite basic The view from the garden was really lovely though so perfect for sitting out in nice weather

Great location on a quiet lane, 10 minutes walk to the beach (and Mickeys!

), and only a short stroll to the farm shop too. Very comfortable & homely inside with a sun trap of a garden and views of the sea in the distance. Highly recommended!

A lovely property, perfect location with great views and very peaceful, easy walk to the beach, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice and warm with the under floor heating, only issue were the sofa’s in the lounge were a bit uncomfortable and the scatter cushions were flat as a pancake, the shower screens in en-suite and bathroom needed a better clean very grimey round the edges.

Absolutely stunning location, and fantastic accommodation, easy to find and instructions on gaining access were perfect.

Close to the beach and all local amenities. A couple of small issues were that there is no hairdryer, a small one would be perfect. Accommodation can sleep up to eight people, so a waste bin in each bathroom would also be nice. Some of the kitchen utensils are outdated and not fit for purpose, and small crack in bath panel. Very minor issues which could easily be corrected. On the whole fantastic value for money and we have recommended The Old Dairy to friends. We will definitely go back.

This is a very nice cottage in a good location with lovely views and walks on the doorstep.

We didn’t see the area at its best due to bad weather and the Lleyn Peninsula really doesn’t have anything to do in poor weather! In fact the few National Trust properties were closed due to high winds or renovations. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped but we thought the bedrooms could have done with some upgrading. The bedding looked very old and washed out and the lighting was extremely poor. The twin bedded room had some damp which needs to be addressed as soon as possible because it caused a musty smell. The underfloor heating was really efficient and Donna was very helpful and prompt in sorting out a few minor issues. The garden would have been lovely in sunny weather.

We had a lovely holiday , was a 60th birthday gift for my sister and brother in law.

Daughter and son-in-law came too. Lovely walks along the beach every morning with the dog. Comfy beds. Beautiful cottage would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at The Old Dairy.

The house is beautifully presented but also not so much so that you are worrying about the children and dogs making a mess! The garden is absolutely gorgeous and well enclosed for our two dogs to roam freely without us worrying that they would escape. There was also enough room for the children to play tennis etc. The view from the house of the sea and mountains is lovely to wake up to every morning and the ten minute walk to the beach meant that we could take the dogs each day and the kids were occupied all day - we were blessed with amazing weather during our stay. The owner was welcoming but not too pushy and available if needed. We had an amazing holiday and will definitely be returning, our only complaint was that we could not stay for two weeks as it was booked up!

Great for staying with children and the grandparents - social and great social space. Would love to go again!

Good location.

Not the easiest to get into. Definitely not the cleanest. Webs from the ceilings obviously been there a while because they had gathered dust. Not the best to be looking at while lay in bed. Dust under bed. Bins hadn't been emptied. Bobbly sheets um. Just starting to get a bit dated. Could be really lovely though. I would be happy to go back. Needs More attention to detail.

The Old Dairy is a lovely house with a stunning view.

There was everything we could possibly need in the house which was very clean and tidy. We will highly recommend this holiday home to our family and friends. It was good to meet the owner Richard on the first day who wished us a happy holiday.

An absolute gem, family stay near by and we wanted to be close to them but needed somewhere we could take our dog.

This property was perfect for us. There was hand-wash,towels, dishcloth dishwasher tablets all provided which was a bonus. One of the best stocked kitchens i have seen. location is great for walks. Has a lovely homely feel.

The Old Dairy has everything you need.

We found it clean, well equipped and it is in a great location. We had our son, wife and 18th month old grandson stay with us and the only thing I that would have made this accommodation perfect would have been some facilities to accommodate the little one eg high chair and travel cot. This would then lift this accommodation to 10 out of 10

A lovely property in a peaceful location, well equipped, comfortable beds, friendly owners.

We had amazing weather and we walked to the beach and Abersoch on several occasions. Wish I played golf as the local course looked great and we called for a drink at the club house on one occasion they were very welcoming, explored the surrounding area which was beautiful. We hadn’t been to the Lynn Peninsula before but we will be back.

We loved the Old Dairy and had a great holiday.

It is in a great location we did quite a bit of travelling around the area and it was a lovely comfortable home to come back too after a day out. The Old Dairy had all the amenities we needed. We cooked every night at home plenty of kitchen equipment. We love a wood burner and most evenings sat by the fire and enjoyed a glass or two. There are so many wonderful beaches around and we had plenty of really good walks. We hope to return for another visit. Thank you Richard and Celia

We found the cottage to be very spacious and with excellent facilities in a very good location, 10 mins to the beach with fantastic views and peaceful.

The property has all the modern facilities you would expect. The negatives would be a lack of household goods including toilet roll and cleaning products like dishwasher tablets, and bathroom waste bins, also no hairdryer. Other than those things I would highly recommend the property with an all year round appeal for any type of guests.

The cottage is in a fabulous location for beaches and walks right from the front door, with other beaches within a short drive.

It is very comfortable and has one of the best equipped kitchens we've had in a rental cottage with plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery and pans. One small niggle, (which I mentioned to the friendly owner when he popped by to see if everything was OK) was there were no "consumables" at all so we had to go out and buy washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, foil, kitchen roll, cling film etc etc (Plenty of loo rolls though!) A beautiful and very secure garden meant we didn't have to worry about the dogs getting out. Would highly recommend both the cottage and the area.

Perfect location for us to continue walking the Welsh coastal path.

The cottage was comfortable and well maintained. The owner came to mow the lawn while we were there and asked if anything needed repairing. The garden was very well enclosed for our dogs. The sea view from the patio was amazing.

Absolutely beautiful cottage with amazing views, the photos really don’t do it justice!

Easily big enough for 6 people with a lovely garden space with a view (it wasn’t secure for our small dog and we had to block the large gaps under the gates but would be fine for dogs bigger than a poodle). The cottage is on the edge of a caravan park but there was minimal noise even over the bank holiday weekend which surprised us, and it’s only a short drive from Abersoch centre for shops/restaurants and a 15 minute walk to a beach. The cottage had everything we needed and was accessible to my Nan who uses a frame as there is a ramp from the parking to the house/garden and it being all on one floor, the only suggestion would be perhaps to put a handrail on the steps? All together a lovely stay with breathtaking views, thank you!
