The Farmhouse

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Alan and Vicky's beautiful farmhouse in Brynsiencyn, and we couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

There were 5 adults, 1 child, and 3 dogs in our group, and the farmhouse accommodated us all comfortably with plenty of space to relax. The property is exceptionally well furnished, and the kitchen was equipped with every appliance, utensil, and accessory you could possibly need during your stay. The secure garden was a real highlight. Our dogs absolutely loved having the freedom to explore and play safely, while we enjoyed relaxing in the lovely outdoor seating area and making the most of the sunshine. All of the bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Everyone slept extremely well throughout the week, which is always a sign of a great holiday home. One of our favourite experiences was watching the piglets being fed and seeing how much they grew during our stay. It was a lovely touch that added to the charm of the property and was enjoyed by the whole family. Alan and Vicky were fantastic hosts, friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout. They were always available if we needed anything, yet they also gave us plenty of privacy to enjoy our holiday uninterrupted. We arranged a Tesco delivery before our arrival, which arrived on time and made settling in incredibly easy, with the fridge and cupboards stocked from the start of our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Anglesey. Thank you, Alan and Vicky, for helping make our family holiday so special. We would love to return in the future!

A second stay in this lovely, quiet and secluded farmhouse.

Very spacious and comfortable. Secure garden for the dogs. The owners Vicky and Alan were very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely farmhouse at the end of a single track road surrounded by fields.

Owners are very nice and a lovely welcome pack provided. We have stayed here before. The house is great and has plenty of room for 8 people. Everything you need is here, all utensils and crockery etc. high speed internet etc. the only thing I would say is that the washing machine is in a separate building ace not in the main house. There’s no tumble dryer either so if it’s raining you struggle to dry your clothes. Plus the mattresses on the beds are not very comfy and in my opinion need to be changed as sleep was not comfortable on them and led to us being tired the next day. I would put a memory foam topper on each mattress and that would transform them.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the farmhouse.

A family of 7 - 4 adults, 3 children and dog. Loads of room for us all. The children particularly enjoyed feeding the pigs and seeing the baby chicks. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location for exploring Anglesey. Allan and Vicky were brilliant hosts. Would definitely recommend

Lovely accommodation in fabulous location.

We were a group of 7 friends walking the Wales Coast Path and the house suited us perfectly. The photographs don't do the accommodation justice; the kitchen where we spent all our time was much larger than expected. We didn't need to use the 2 sitting/dining rooms. All the beds were really comfortable with good quality linen. Very well equipped (we cooked every night) and spotlessly clean. Alan and Vicky gave us a warm welcome but other than that we were completely left alone. Although we knew they were on hand should we need anything. Absolutely recommend The Farmhouse for a stay on Anglesey.

The farmhouse is well situated in a peaceful location surrounded by the Welsh countryside.

The property has a large well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms throughout . The owners are lovely, and accommodating, they let the children feed the animals . There is plenty of room for easy parking. There is plenty of out door space for the dogs and people alike . Have already booked for next year .

The Farmhouse was absolutely lovely.

We were a family of six with 3 pooches. The kitchen was great as it had everything we needed to cook. Sometimes we have been to places where we’ve been eating off different plates, this was not the case. It was a well appointed kitchen. Also loved the fact that the owners acknowledged the fact that our doggies might sleep on our beds, so they asked that we bring our own linen. This was an excellent idea and not a problem for us at all. We were really grateful as again some properties say that although dogs are allowed, they are not allowed upstairs. This is always an issue if you are an owner of a pooch who has always slept with you. The decor is lovely, with each bedroom having its own signature accent wall. There are two reception room which was great. This meant our two teens were in one room on their gadgets, allowing us adults to relax in the other over a glass of wine. The cottage is ideally situated to visit places, Plas Newydd is only about 4 miles down the road as is Newborough beach (does get busy in their car park). The Halon Mor sea salt place is also just down the road - a ten minute drive away, and if we had known, we would have booked their seaweed barrel experience. Next door to them is the sea museum which one of our teens absolutely loved. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

Great farmhouse in a great location.

Pictures a little deceiving as the property is bigger than it looks. Very clean a tribute to Vicky. Alan and Vicky are lovely hosts and very approachable and attentive. The property itself has got fantastic views. Beautiful sunset at the front of the house and just green, green and more fabulous green views from every window. The piglets in the small area at the front of the house are so adorable and love to say hello they even love a tummy tickle. I have already booked for next year.

It comfortably fitted our family of 6 adults and 2 children. It is very well equipped, you don't need to bring anything. Alan and Vicky are very kind and welcoming hosts who could not do enough for us. Hen and duck eggs were an ideal welcome present we really enjoyed them. Our grandchildren enjoyed the large enclosed safe grassed area, there was plenty of space to run around, they also visited the farm animals including hens, ducks and pigs. It is positioned so close to Newborough forest, 10 mins away which was ideal. We would definitely go back again.

Alan and Vicky were very welcoming hosts and a pleasure to deal with.

We had 6 adults and 3 dogs and immediately felt at home. The cottage was bigger than expected and had updated flooring so the pictures don't actually do it justice as to how lovely it really is. The location is perfect as you are never more than 35 mins in any direction to cover the sights of Anglesey. Very well recommended and we will definitely be back.

Lovely farmhouse with beautiful views from all of the windows.

The farmhouse was far bigger than expected spacious bedrooms two large lounges and kitchen that is fully equipped. The children ( aged 32 and 42) loved the piglets. We were welcomed with treats biscuits wine, and farm eggs that the chickens had laid we also bought some to take home. The owners were welcoming ensuring we had all of the information required.

We couldn’t fault this property, everything was just perfect.

Will definitely be booking again at a later date.

The farmhouse is in an idyllic position with views over the countryside, plenty of room inside for the family to enjoy their own space if needed. The children enjoyed feeding the piglets, thank you Alan & Vicky we had a great week.

Lovely house in a great location.

Lots to do locally like walking, horse riding and shopping at llanfair PG. The house is comfortable and spacious and really well equipped. There is a lovely secure garden for dogs. Vicky and David are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Had a wonderful August holiday here even though it rained half the time.

As the owners said it has its own micro climate and was sunny the other side of the island and it was most days. They cleaned out the fire pit for us and we had a lovely smores evening around it. Owners living next door was helpful and not intrusive. Lovely welcome pack with home layed eggs what a treat. Lovely enclose front garden for the dogs and back is fine as long as dogs get on well with pigs, sheep and chickens which even our puppy did. Lovely place would stay again.

The children loved seeing the animals especially the cats. The location was perfect quiet and peaceful but close to to the amenities we needed.

We loved the cottage , the welcome pack was lovely and much appreciated.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable set within beautiful surroundings. Alan and Vicky were great hosts . They let the children feed the pigs and showed them some day old chicks. They only spoke to us if we approached approached them , they told us that even though they live next door they never intrude on anyone during their stay .we will definitely be returning to this delightful cottage.

The farmhouse is a beautifully kept place to stay and is extremely well equipped ,the house is comfortable and very clean.

The front and rear of the property is secure if you have a dog plus its good to meet the other animals around the farm, pigs, fowl and cattle in the neighbouring field. The friendly MR& MRS HUGHS are close by if you need any information.

We had a lovely stay at the farm house and the owners were very friendly and accommodating with a slightly later check out with 3 very young children.

A little inconvenient with the washer machine not being in the house, and more clothes pegs needed…. Little kids create so much washing. Also due to having small children railings at the back door would have been of benefit to prevent falls but Lovely front garden which was enclosed. Although the pigs were very interesting they did smell and we saw several rats. We would use again though as it was a lovely spacious property in a quiet area. The house itself was spotless. Was lucky to see the piglets. They are so funny. The house has everything you need, kitchen is well stocked and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. All the rooms were a good size and very clean throughout. The gardens are a great size front and back, very secure for dogs and children. Would definitely recommend. The owners were lovely and on hand if you need anything. My only complaint is that the week went too quick, we didn't want to leave.

Having been relocated from our original booking, we arrived at The Farmhouse and were enveloped by a hug!

A generous welcome pack- I had been concerned about the 2 dogs in our party, being on a farm, but the two well enclosed areas are brilliant-large area at the back, and a charming front garden. New-born piglets to observe were an unexpected bonus! The contrast between our original booking and The Farmhouse could not have been greater! Thankyou Alan and Vicky x

We have just returned from The Farmhouse, which surpassed all expectations.

The location is wonderfully quiet and rural yet accessible enough to explore North Wales and Anglesey. The property itself is warm and inviting, as are its owners Alan and Vicky. With an added bonus of pig feeding time the 2 youngest in our party looked forward to feeding the pigs, thanks Alan, 2 city kids didn’t mind a bit of dirt for once. Would we recommend this property? Most definitely

We had a fantastic holiday and The Farmhouse, which is hosted perfectly, with everything you would need was a perfect base to explore Anglesey and North Wales.

The location of the property is fully secluded from any traffic noise whatsoever and the views of the countryside from it and the fully enclosed garden, which our dogs were free to roam are stunning.

Lovely farmhouse and spotlessly clean It had everything we needed plus an excellent welcome pack and great for our 3 dogs with enclosed garden and great beaches nearby also beautiful cafe down the road with delicious coffee and cakes is a must .

The property is a credit to vicky and Alan and we really enjoyed our stay there the only issue we encountered was with sykes itself as misinformed of leaving date cutting our holiday short luckily Vicki informed us of correct leaving day

The front garden is secure for even tiny dogs, and they enjoyed roaming while we sat outside. Very comfortable and clean, well equipped farmhouse, great location near the beach and forest.

The only bad thing about The Farmhouse was having to leave.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. The house is spacious, well equipped and totally pristine. We have stayed in holiday homes in Anglesey for many years and the cleanliness of this property exceeded all others. The photographs really don't do this house justice, there's been modernisation since the photographs were taken. The setting is idyllic with incredible views of the Snowdonia mountains', it's peaceful and has lots of lovely outdoor space. A highlight for us were the pigs, we enjoyed feeding them daily and watching them play. Alan and Vicky were the perfect hosts, excellent communication and on hand for any Island advice. Would we stay here again? in a heartbeat!

Ideal holiday property for My family.

Brother and Sister reunion. Owners brilliant you must buy eggs and sausage from Alan. Area good to. Ideal for well behaved dogs as pigs near by. Ours were scared of them. Forgot how amazing Wales is.

I had a lovely stay at the farmhouse with my three dogs, it was well equipped, clean and comfortable and the dog's had the benefit of two well fenced large gardens.

The farm house is in a lovely quiet location with views across fields, but still within easy reach of many great beaches and attractions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, especially those with dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this farmhouse, especially our dogs who had great freedom in the grounds.

It is comfortable and has great facilities to make yourself at home. Alan and his partner greeted us on arrival and let us know everything we needed to know to make our stay easy. We shall return one day as the location was great for what we needed to do. Newborough Beach and Rhosneigr are close by and we’ll worth visiting

We stayed here for a week and the house was perfect for us.

We felt at home. The house is very clean, well kept and well equipped. It had everything we needed. A minor issue was the WiFi while watching TV of an evening, we struggled to watch Netflix but it isn't enough to put us off returning. The house is in a lovely and quiet area. Ideal for our dogs with a large enclosed garden at the front and a good sized enclosed field at the back. The owners were present but not intrusive.

A beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with all you need for a perfect holiday.

The owners were so welcoming and approachable. They were visible but not Imposing. The welcome pack was fantastic. The cottage is well placed for local attractions, a beautiful beach only 10 minutes drive away. Highly recommended.

The kitchen is a good size and well equipped for our extended family to eat breakfat and lunch in. the welcome pack was very nice thank you. Plenty of space for the childen to play. There was a clothes airer which was very useful with children. The lounge and bedrooms are clean and comfortable. It was near to places we love to visit

We had a very comfortable week.

The house had everything that we needed and was well located for the things that we wanted to do. My grandson loved going out to look at the pigs. I can't think of anything that I would add or change in the house.

This is second time of staying here.

Lovely house with owners next door, any issues we had were quickly sorted. House is in a peaceful area overlooking fields and mountains in the distance. A larger fridge, perhaps in porch area would be great.

Fantastic holiday 2nd year running.

Great for the dogs, as it has an enclosed garden front and back. Bedroom and bathroom downstairs, which is ideal for my dad. Will definitely return again we all love it here. Great beach's and walks for the dogs.

Large accommodation, plenty of space to escape, lovely large enclosed garden overlooking the pigs and piglets! Great for stargazing, could just do with a bbq :-)

Great hosts.

Website photos did not do the property justice. Lovely location. Views of the mountains in distance. Fab local beach. Nice welcome package. House well equipped. Dog friendly. Downstairs had lino/laminate flooring which was great for dogs. Stairgate at top of stairs was useful to keep the dogs downstairs. 2 showers and a lovely large bath. If using the washing machine just remember to use the quick 15 min program with extra spin otherwise it takes about 2hr 30 to complete

Another enjoyable stay in this clean and comfortable and roomy farmhouse.

The owners were helpful and friendly. Seeing the happy ducks ,hens,pigs and piglets was a treat. Space for our big children to play outside and to chill inside. Not far to drive to get to Sealife centre, the Farm place with its animals and lovely food,the transport museum,Plas Newydd,Beaumaris Newborough forest and the beach and lots more.

Extremely clean and very pet friendly with throws provided for the furniture.

Comfortable and well placed for all the areas of Anglesey. Great if you love pigs too!

This was a lovely holiday in 2018.

My Grandchildren have kept asking if we can go again .which is why we have re booked for 2021. Looking forward to another peaceful stay in this spacious comfortable farmhouse with helpful and friendly owners. Oh and this time when we leave we we won't leave our very tasty farmhouse bacon in the fridge by mistake.

The host Allen & Victoria made us feel very welcome indeed and went out of their way to help us out of a sticky situation with my family for witch i am very grateful and would go back any day to their farmhouse .

This was our third year at the farmhouse and this in itself is an indication of how much we enjoy it.

my grandchildren love coming to the farm especially if their are new pigs. We find the owners very pleasant and helpful. we enjoy the open aspect and there is plenty of space for them and the dog.

The cottage is situated at the end of a track with no through traffic so there is no sound of any traffic that you can hear - purely the sounds of the birds and quietness which, when you live in a City is extremely relaxing and very peaceful.

Great for our dogs as the garden is enclosed. Alain and Vicky were very friendly and made us most welcome while still giving us our privacy. I would recommend the farmhouse as a great place to stay.

Beautiful farmhouse, well equipped and spacious, even for eight adults and one dog.

Friendly owners who explained everything clearly on arrival. On hand if we needed them, but respected our privacy and left us to enjoy our holiday without interference. Very peaceful and an excellent base for anything on Anglesey .

The internet did not do justice to the property, it was larger than I thought it would be, clean comfortable and every thing you would have in your own home.

Owners were very friendly, there if you wanted them, otherwise left you to do your own thing. This farm house is splendid for couples, families with children and especially if you have dog(s). The property is located so you can get round all of Anglesey in the week although I would have stayed two weeks given the chance as the beaches were clean and dog friendly and there was a plentiful supply of good eating places. The farm has its share of animals all around and even in my mid sixties I loved seeing the piglets literally 30 yards from the back door. Highly recommended!

this property is excellent for dogs with plenty of enclosed outside space the house is well presented and very comfortable the owners are very busy people but nothing was too much trouble for them we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

We enjoyed the Farmhouse because there was a lot of open free space for the children and dog to run around in and play.

There was the added interest of the animals. Our hosts were lovely with lots of helpful advice and had left us basic supplies for our arrival. This was our second year and my grandchildren are looking forward to the third.

Great time was had at The Farmhouse, very clean and comfortable, all facilities needed for family of 4 Adults 4 boisterous children, Very peaceful, quiet location , but central for exploring Angelsey, freedom and space , warm welcome given by owners, faultless!

The accommodation met our requirements perfectly for a long weekend break in Wales and if you had also arranged the weather you did a brilliant job of doing so ;-). The property was scrupulously clean and had everything that you could need. Feeding the pigs and watching the lambs was a particular highlight for my youngest. Will come back again but with grandparents next time - thank you.
