This bijoux cottage is in a fabulous location, with a great view of the castle in Caernarfon.

It was easy to park on the street and just over the road was a lovely walk up Twthill with it's great views over the town, countryside, Anglesey and the mountains. Great for our dog. The cottage is well maintained, a super comfy bed with quality bed linen, a large bathroom with shower and nearly everything to make your stay perfect. Missing a hairdryer and definitely a new microwave is required, as they one in the property is rusty and not fit for purpose. We stayed for a week and enjoyed getting to know the area and a feel for the town - it's lovely. Would we stay again, yes we would at the right price.

1st impressions was ok it will do.

No problems with parking. The couch (sofa bed) different from pictures, was uncomfortable. The bed was'nt much better & the fan in the bathroom was loud enough to wake the dead when you switch the light on.

Clydfan is a lovely little property perfectly located to explore Caernarfon and further afield.

The house was clean and easy to keep warm, the wood flooring being more serviceable made it easy to come in out of the rain with muddy boots and a wet dog. The kitchen had all the utensils you would need and it was a lovely touch to have tea and coffee supplied, even though we always take our own. The bathroom is a substantial size for such a small property towels were plentiful and of good quality which is always a plus! The only negative I would give is comfort, and that is largely personal, I found the couch uncomfortable but I do lile to have my legs up, it was too small to do this comfortably for two people, however I was hoping to put the bed settee up in the evenings to combat this problem but we couldn't get it up, some of the mechanical hinges appeared broken. Another personal preference would be the bed, the matress was not comfortable to us, but could be to others. Other than those two grumbles we had a great stay! Thank you.
