“Lovely property ,very central for shops ,pubs and restaurants in Caerarfon.”

Also great location for visiting Anglesey and the Llun Peninsular.4 pints of milk and a large bottle of water were left in the fridge .Plus a bara brith and some lovely shortbread biscuits.The toilet seat was an issue in the one en suite and looking at the book it appears to have been an unresolved issue for some time.

“We had a very pleasant stay overall.”

The location is excellent and the apartment was clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like milk, coffee, tea and biscuits on arrival. There were a couple of minor issues. One bathroom had a loose toilet seat, and the toilet in the other room, has a leak around the base that it was annoying as we had to put towels on the floor to manage it. The place would also benefit from having some hooks for coats. Overall, a comfortable, well-located apartment with nice touches, but a few maintenance issues that should be addressed.

“The property was clean and comfortable, especially the beds.”

It was well equipped and the location was brilliant. Thank you for the goodies, the Welsh cakes were lovely. The apartment took a lot of heating though, the radiators are not controlled by a thermostat that keeps a consistent temperature, you need to keep going back to the controls. The auto lights on the bedroom landing activate when you get out of bed and go to the ensuite, that in turn wakes other people.

“This little property was so much more than we expected.”

Everything in excellent condition. Bedrooms were lovely with comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything you could need and a very generous starter pack including teas coffee milk and a bara brith cake which was delicious. Clearly dedicated owners. Only issue is there are very steep and narrow stairs which need to be considered for anyone with limited mobility.

“A fantastic stay!”

We stayed here for a couple of weeks with our children in March as we needed a base in north Wales. Needless to say, it was everything we wanted and more. The beds were very comfortable, it was immaculately clean and the open plan really worked for us with a well equipped kitchen. The baby cot was supplied and games/board games was a very nice touch. The apartment is across the road from Caernarfon Castle, the kids really enjoyed looking at night it when it was all lit up. There are some really nice little cafes and independent shops metres away as well as being close to beaches and mountains. A really enjoyable stay, we'll definitely be back again.

“A lovely stay, unfortunately let down with a faulty fire alarm system which caused an evacuation on our second night and meant our children were nervous about staying for our final night.”

The owners dealt with the issue excellently. The Sykes emergency call process was poor and slow. It was also slightly disappointing that no form of compensation was offered for an incident which ended up affect our stay for 2 of the 3 nights.

“The apartment was fabulous.”

Couldn't get a better spot. Lovely comfortable beds and very clean. Only thing was the toilet seat. But didn't let it spoil our stay. Would definitely recommend. And hopefully be back again sometime. X

“Llety Pen Deitsh 1 is a Clean, Fresh, and lovely Apartment to stay.”

It has everything you need to make you feel right at home the beds are comfy too. They have also provided board games for the little ones and cards for the grown ups, there is so much to do inside on rainy days but luckily for us we had superb weather for the month of February. It's close to 2 major food stores, Morrisons and Asda as well as independent stores, a short walk to the river and it cannot get any better, you have a Castle right on the doorstep, truly a lovely place to stay. Parking is great too with a 45 min stay outside the Apartment to unpack the car and long term parking either around the corner or near the river which is no more than 5 mins away. We shall most definitely be booking this lovely Apartment again next year. Thank you Regards Loz

About the location

CAERNARFON

Llanberis 8 miles; Bangor 9 miles.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Boat trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds.
