This was our 3rd time here we love the place every thing you need spotless clean but toilets and sinks need a bit more attention but other than that it fantastic and near lot's of amazing things to do we will definitely be back ❤️

Silva had all the amenities, cosy and with lovely back garden for my dog. Beds were comfortable and decorate in lovely Anglesey vibe. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

This is lovely cottage in a quiet location.

We really loved our stay here. Warm, well appointed- it’s one of the first self catering cottage I’ve stayed at that actually has everything you need to self cater. The whole cottage well laid out, clean and comfortable. The parking by the side was great as the road is narrow and would be difficult to park on. The garden is well maintained and gated so great for kids and dogs. The outside shower was a godsend for a beach addicted dog.

Facities spot on. Lovely to sit out in the garden watching birds and butterflies .We had some lovely walks from Penmon also easy drive to Beaumaris. Definately recommended

Hi lovely time in Anglesey with the dogs we were blessed with the weather !

Cottage’s is lovely and everything you need for your stay . Stairs very steep ha ha but it shows that on the photos , once we negotiated the steps from bedroom, bathroom etc etc we were ok . Panicked a bit at first ! Lovely little garden fully enclosed for my two bichons and my assistance dog , would def return, Thankyou , not too far to Beaumaris etc .

Silva was an excellent choice as a base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales, the facilities were just right for us and our dogs

Lovely cottage.

A bit disappointed in the garden size as it looks very big on photos but it was very small. Only because I thought we could throw the ball and the dogs could get a lot of exercise but unfortunately they couldn’t. Other than that. Perfect thanks

The cottage was delightful - very comfortable, well-appointed, and a fully enclosed garden that even our smallest dog couldn't escape from.

The off-road parking was useful, and the area was quiet yet close enough that it was easy to pop into Beaumaris. The owners were so helpful when I left an essential item behind, and posted it immediately.

Silva is a comfortable cottage and is well maintained.

The secure garden is a bonus for dog owners too. We enjoyed our stay and explored new and old haunts on the island. Two issues to note, the very hot water, [albeit labelled on each tap] is a hazard. The actual taps even become too hot to touch when the hot taps are run. Surely there must be a way to reduce the boiling temperature? The two outside bins were nearly full [70%] on our arrival, although there was a collection during our stay, they were not emptied. Instructions in the house state no need to put the bins out, perhaps this needs reviewing. Thank you

We had the most amazing family break in Sliva, we loved every minute of it.

The cottage feels like home from home, the amenities and facilities were second to none. The kitchen has all the mod cons, everything you need to cook a home cooked meal if you wish, (I recommend to do a big shop before arriving as there is only a Spar nearby). Walks and views are unbelievable, our dog Winston never had so much fun! The town itself, Beaumaris, is charming with some lovely pubs and places to eat in. We recommend the (Bulkeley especially if you have a dog), right on the coast with spectacular views from the beer garden, the whole hotel is dog friendly, even the afternoon tea area. The Bulls head did great dinners and not too far of a drive from Silva (about 6 mins). We found a lovely Indian takeaway in town that delivered to Silva for £3.50 on Just Eat, highly recommend that, it was a lovely treat! I am already looking at availability for 2024 as we want to go back for sure! Thanks so much Emer

Wonderful cottage!

!!! We had a lovely 4 night stay which we only booked the night before. Excellent kitchen & everything you could possibly need. Beautiful garden. Hoping to return soon!!

Lovely stay at Silva three generations and two Labradors.

Everything you could need in the kitchen, cosy sitting room at night with log fire. Table in lounge great for Lego and games. Bunk bed room was fine for small grandsons could be a bit snug for older children but then again you only sleep there to recharge batteries for next day’s adventures. Lots of lovely walks as we know the island well, and even the weather was kind! Thank you.

A good night sleep was had by all thanks to the very comfy beds. Thankfully we had taken throws as we did struggled to get warm (end of March) in the evenings downstairs as its open plan and we had the fire on.

Good secure rear garden for dogs. Beautiful location for exploring the island. We stay at a lot of cottages on Anglesey and this ticked every box for us and our fur babies. Definitely return next year. Thank you for hosting us.

This cottage was so comfortable and cosy especially with the log fire.

Very well equipped and so near the fabulous coastline. Plenty of walks straight from the door and we even saw red squirrels, very exciting! Would highly recommend a stay here and we would love to return. Thank you so much.

So peaceful and really comfortable. Everything was great. A special mention for the garden - a real sun trap.

Lovely cottage on arrival found welcome pack which was a nice touch and start to our stay.

Secure garden with adequate seating when weather permits. Only one little niggle, would have liked some side lights in the lounge in the evening as the main lighting is very bright, apart from that can’t fault the cottage, New borough beach is outstanding and would recommend a visit whilst on the island. Anglesey is a stunning place to visit, the beaches and cliff side walks unspoiled even in February.

Excellent cottage very clean and comfortable.

The cottage was great apart from the bunk beds which were only suitable for children.

One member of our group had to sleep on the sofa which spoilt things a bit. It is possible to have bunk beds that fit adults which would be great.

Great house.

The rear garden is nice and secure for the dogs. Owner’s contacted us prior to our visit to tell us that we could have a late check which was brilliant Milk,biscuits and a bottle of Cava on arrival is a nice touch.

The cottage was everything we could have hoped for with regards to cleanliness and comfort and the welcome package which included a bottle of Prosecco was a nice bonus.

The neighbours were very friendly and helpful when we suffered a power cut on the first night. While the cottage had all you wanted and more maybe a battery operated light or two might be worth having in the kitchen cupboard where the ironing board and vacuum etc were stored. One other point that needs to be emphasised is that there are notices at the sink warning about the hot water but the water is dangerously hot to the extent that a tea towel was needed to turn the tap off. Those were minor things compared to the rest of the facilities including a nice small enclosed garden that the children and our small dog enjoyed. Thanks also to the owners for their flexibility when we had to cancel our holiday earlier in the year

Cosy, had everything you needed and more, lovely welcome gifts really nice touch we desperately needed coffee when we arrived but we had no milk we opened the fridge and there was a fresh pint awesome.

Central heating available when a little cold at night. Our dog was totally safe in the garden, great to have driveway to park on as quite tight for traffic on the road. Great to have a bath and shower, although we could only have shower due to arthritis and other health issues. I had problem with two towels after I left blue sock in by mistake Emma contacted me to say no problem lovely email from her. All I can say was awesome stay 11 out of 10 from us ❤️❤️❤️ Beds so comfortable kitchen items amazing, thanks Karen Vicky and Walter

On arrival it was lovely to have a bottle of Prosecco, milk in the fridge & a pack of delicious Welsh cakes waiting for us.

The owners Emma& Frank have put everything into this lovely cottage that you could possibly want & more. Comfy furniture & beds & nice to have the choice of a kingsize bed. We loved the location of the cottage so nice & peaceful with great walks on the doorstep. Our fur babies loved having a run on the beach every day. It's a fab cottage & we wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Thank you Emma & Frank for a wonderful week Linda

Where to start?

Absolutely fantastic cottage and more than what’s described, 5 stars in my book. As soon as you walk into the property it feels like you’ve come home. From the traditional open fire to the comfortable furniture. From the very peaceful setting to the overall size of the property you already know you’re in a place to relax and unwind. Very well proportioned cottage with two large bedrooms with big beds plus a smaller bedroom with bunk beds for smaller children. Large family bathroom on the first floor and second shower room with wc on the ground floor. The water pressure in the shower is perfect for loosening the tired muscles after a day out walking in the local area. Off road parking for two cars to the side of the property makes for easy access. Large rear private garden with seating for outdoor eating when the weathers up to it. The kitchen comes very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including insulated cafe pots for those lazy mornings spent lounging around. During our stay we didn’t find anything lacking, our hosts even provide dish washer tablets and laundry pods meaning no extra trips to the supermarket. Towels in abundance as well as heated blankets should the temperature drop to something extreme. The heating and hot water are fantastic and akin to a 5 start hotel. The location means you’re not too far from any of the attractions and taking no more than 30 minutes to get to anywhere on the island. All in, this cottage and hosts, give far more than expected and would definitely book this again.

Very clean and well equipped, warm and cosy with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, super shower and a lovely big bath and hot water always available. Open fire made for cosy evenings and a lovely welcome gift upon arrival. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is so cozy and welcoming for our Christmas break.

Everything was decorated and the welcome package was amazing. The facilities were perfect and we had a great stay - me, my 2 daughters and our 2 dogs. I cannot rate this cottage highly enough. Also it is in a fabulous location for exploring both Anglesey and Snowdonia.

Lovely cottage in a great location for getting all over Anglesey.

Fairly well equipped with lots of helpful condiments provided. Beds were comfy with nice bedding. The front bedroom was very cold though with radiator only ever getting like warm. The cottage is a little chilly as the radiators don't seem to really.get that hot so had to light the fire on a few nights. It was good to have a driveway as the road is narrow but some lovely walks right on the door step.

A wonderful base to visit all areas of Anglesey.

The cottage had everything we needed and was wonderful for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 & 3. The garden games were a lovely touch. We recommend Newborough beach and GreenWood Forest park for great days out.
