It truly was wonderful Gareth was the perfect host nothing was too much trouble he even brought his bbq round for us to use.

The cottage was well equipped the lovely welcome pack and treats for our dogs was much appreciated. Will definitely recommend we had a lovely break. Thankyou

Trem y Don was a wonderful holiday, the cottage was just as you see online.

Gareth was very helpful with his local knowledge, and places to eat and shop. The weather was wonderful for the week, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus, thanks again Gareth.

Our host was very welcoming to us and our mutt also very knowledgeable of the area, which was appreciated.

We had a fantastic time at Trem Y Don .

This one bedroom accommodation is perfect for a peaceful getaway . It has wonderful views from the front garden as it is on an elevated position . The facilities are excellent including a lovely hot tub, table football and lots of books and games. We visited Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, zip world and Bodnant gardens whilst we were here and they are all within a 30 minute drive. The host , Gareth is absolutely amazing. He has so much local knowledge and clearly wants his guests to have the best experience .

This property is perfect for couples and four legged friends. The location is just perfect no more than a 30 min drive to all the local places everyone wants to visit. We are coming back Gareth I have never experienced a history like it. Thank you for making our stay amazing

owner was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area, Unfortunately we felt very uncomfortable about the lack of privacy, this was due to 1: our bedroom window was on the owners side of his garden which meant you had to keep bedroom window blinds down at all times. 2: bathroom window had no blinds so when having a shower, the owners access to his door meant he walked past the window and could either see your out line or if you had the window open he could look straight in. 3: hot tub was lovely however again the owners access meant he could walk past at anytime while you were trying to chill and felt you could not relax, 4: going in and out of property dogs would bark at you all the time, plus when owner was out for the evening the dogs would not stop barking being left in the house therefore you could not relax, 5: you couldn't really walk up to the hammock or meditation area this was due to the path which lead up had a rail which was rotten and unsafe.

It’s a very quiet area lots of places shut Monday Tuesday and Wednesday we went for quite though it was a slice of heaven Garth was great host he told us he didn’t know we were there well we only knew he was there because of the two lovely little dogs a pleasure to stay there

The cottage was in the most relaxing place we will definitely return.

I was meant to be staying with my ex partner but we split up a few weeks before arriving.

I almost didn't come but I then decided I would still come with my two dogs Buddy and Evie. I'm so glad I did as it was just what I needed to get back on track. Gareth the owner greeted me and what a kind and thoughtful man he is. He helped me up to my accommodation with my entire house I'd brought from home. The property was immaculate and you could tell he really cares about the comfort of his guests. I had an essential welcome pack and even my dogs had treats and bowls provided. The hot tub was a lovely way to spend the end of the day after walking in the beautiful area each day with my dogs. I can honestly say I left a different person to the one who arrived. My dogs and I had an amazing time and we will definitely be returning later in the year. Thank you so much.

We had a very warm welcome from the host on arrival along with a lovely welcome pack.

Trem-Y-Don was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The four poster bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub was lovely and much needed after a day out walking. We found the table football a godsend. This helped us decide who would do the washing up each day. Would definitely recommend and would hope to return in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay here, our little dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves too.

The accommodation and location was everything we hoped for , we especiallyenjoyedthe table footballand selectionofgames-very welcomed and the welcome pack was thoughtful We were a little disappointed that the back part of the garden was quite overgrown and don't really think a chair plopped amongst brambles makes a meditation area and we couldn't get in to the hammock no matter what we tried- just too high.

The main issues we had was that there was no mention of dogs directly next door, they barked anywhere from 6.30am -11pm. Mainly when they were outside meaning that we were reluctant to sit outside as we had hoped to, it was just too noisy. We didn't raise this with the owner at the time as we obviously couldn't be expected for him to keep his dogs inside but we just wouldn't have booked if we had known. My partner is recovering from some health issues and part of choosing this accommodation was so we could enjoy the outside if he wasn't well enough to.go out. The barking impacted on this We also thought it was more private, the owner living next door meant that people were constantly walking past the garden we used, the windows and hottub, I felt uncomfortable using it due to this. We would recommend the accommodation but maybe people should be aware of the dogs and lack of privacy.

A beautiful place, ideal for rest and relaxation.

Its equipped with everything that you could need. Equally, there's so much to do in the area that you'll never be bored. Gareth was a perfect host- he was so helpful and thoughtful, but also gave us our privacy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, such a lovely property and a wonderful break.

Great host, welcomed us and told us of the places to eat and visit.

Hot tub needed after we had a lovely walk to Conwy from Dolgarrog. Bed was really comfy and two nights sleep had by us. Will definitely look at using again if we visit North Wakes.

Gareth is the ultimate host.

A beautifully presented cottage with everything you need to make it home from home with added extras. On entering we walked into a very large living room. Complete with two leather sofas, a nice dining table and chars, a relaxing “Egg Chair” looking out over the valley , a wood burning stove. A large smart tv with Sky, Netflix and Prime. There were also a selection of books and games. Moving into the kitchen it is large and airy with everything you could need. The bedroom was spacious with a large 4 poster bed and an ultra comfortable mattress. Inside is finished off with a nice well equipped bathroom. Central heating kept us nice and warm. As we visited in February we were not expecting warm weather but the magnificent hot tub was the perfect climax after a busy day we had a very nice welcome package . The dogs even got their own welcome gift. In summary, if you want a great break in wonderful surroundings, this is a place you must visit. Thank you so much Gareth.

Wonderful week at Trem Y Don!

Extremely comfortable cottage with lovely views. Hot tub was amazing. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation for anyone who needs to rest, relax and recharge.

Lovely clean, spacious & well equipped cottage with really comfortable furnishings.

Owners provided a generous welcome pack which included treats for our dog. Gareth couldn't have done more to make us feel at home. Large hot tub was a real treat after days out exploring. Beautiful local walks & lots of amazing places to visit within a reasonable drive. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely holiday cottage.

Well kept, and the owners are very respectful of your privacy and lovely people. The hot tub is very relaxing and clean. The property and the bed is extremely comfortable. The path at the back of the property up to the Roman road is a little steep, as the advert states but manageable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

A good base to visit the area.

We had a lovely week at Trem Y Don and fortunately the weather was good for us.

It is a gem of a cottage, with good hosts close by but not intrusive. The welcome package was very well received by us and the hot-tub is excellent and well maintained. It is an excellent centre for visits especially if you are a Cadw and/or National Trust member. We managed Beaumaris Castle and Plas Newydd on one day. Rhyl and Rhuddlan Castle on another. Conway town and castle which are truly a delight. Bodnant Gardens and the Welsh food centre are only 15-20 minutes away and spectacular. A day in Snowdonia and visiting Penrhyn Castle were all interesting. There are so many places to go you can easily fill a week. For food the Groes Inn straight up the road [6-7 miles] is excellent been there a number of times over the years. Y Bedol is also decent.

We were fairly surprised at how large the property was, plenty of room for the two of us and Max the dog, and we all enjoyed the welcome pack kindly provided by our hosts. The location is spot on and a short drive to most of the coastal resorts around North Wales, there is even a bus stop right outside that takes you into LLandudno if that takes your fancy. The hot tub was a real welcome at the end of a busy day. Special mention to Graham for providing one of the highlights of Marija's holiday memories. If we could make one little suggestion, maybe a bigger fridge/freezer for the kitchen.

The cottage and hot tub, great.

Lovely welcome from owner and very kind loan of 2 walking sticks from owner also. Only problem was very steep, long access from parking to cottage, due to fact I am disabled. My gentle advice is to make sure this is clearer in booking description to avoid any future problems if disabled persons book what is mostly a lovely place to stay, lovely gardens, which again was not accessible to myself due to very steep access. Just add nature of steep access to description. Be perfect then. For instance wheelchair bound tenants would find access impossible. Please consider this. You are lovely people

Absolutely fantastic hosts and such a beautiful property in gorgeous surroundings could have asked for a nicer place and nicer people.

The cottage exceeded our expectations , looks better in real life than on photos .

The bed is a top quality mattress, it was so comfortable. The hot tub was the best money can buy , the welcome basket was so generous with extra treats for our dogs . The owner met us with great tips on things to do in the area which we followed and we had a great time . But the bonus for us having our spaniels was being able to go on an off lead walk every morning though a private wooded back garden with hammock that lead to a walk with waterfalls . Highly recommended . We loved it here

House beautifully clean.

Had everything you need . Hot tub brilliant and the view is great. Lovely and warm inside. Host great nothing too much trouble. Only one gripe the settees could do with an upgrade. Would return.

Beautiful setting.

Also a bird watchers paradise. I could have sat for hours. A lovely cosy bungalow with an open fire if required. We did on the last night. Full sky TV package too if you like your TV programmes but to be honest the hottub for us was the star of the show. After a full day out hiking and beach combing that was our delight. Very relaxed about our big hairy dog too! The house is very dog friendly too with wood floors..easier for us the keep his floof swept up. And he loved his doggy treats as much as we loved our welcome treats too! Thankyou for having us and being so helpful and kind. We found Ann's kitchen in Mochdre on the way home as suggested! You were right about the breakfast..it was to.die for! We hope to visit again soon. Jayne, David and Fen

Mine and my partners stay was nothing less than excellent from moment we arrived the hosts was very welcoming let us know all information we needed as well having it printed out waiting for us let us know of some nice places to eat in the area loved the chippy just up the road.

Hot tub was divine and bed was sooo comfy and if that wasn't enough we was left a lovely welcome tray with teas coffee hot chcocolate wine fresh bread and Welsh cakes everything was perfect I can not fault the cottage on a single thing would highly recommend

We had a great time.

The bath hot tap went faulty but was fixed in same day whilst we were out. Used the car each day on short tours. You can take the dog a walk in the morning around the back of the house and up the fairly steep garden.

Gareth and the team were very welcoming hosts and the property was absolutely lovely, great location with stunning scenery all around and I really enjoyed the use of the wood burner and hot tub, would definitely recommend!

It's such a peaceful location, the log burner and hot tub were amazing. We felt instantly relaxed when we walked into the property. We will be back again I'm sure.

We had a lovely stay Trem y Don, the cottage was spacious, clean, comfortable and warm with everything we could need and more.

We were met by our Host who was friendly and welcoming. The welcome pack was lovely and very appreciated by us and our dogs. The Hot Tub was fabulous and we enjoyed the log burner and games on a wet afternoon. Plenty of walking from the cottage and nearby, and loads of places to visit.The mill at Trefriw is worth a look and the walk along the river is lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Really delightful place, semi-detached but owners are quiet and very friendly.

Had everything we wanted out of a holiday to chill out, and there's plenty to see and do in the area. Place is also dog friendly. The forest tracks out the back of the property provide some excellent walks too. Everything in the house was clean and tidy and the hot tub was clean and well maintained.

This is a lovely home to stay in and the host was very welcoming.

The property is attached to the owners home, the location is perfect for visiting Llandudno, Betws Y Coed. The property itself benefits by way of sky TV and a smart TV to enable you to login to Netflix & Prime, it has a lovely hot tub with blue tooth and a seated area outside with a fire pit, it also has the most comfortable bed (too comfortable I didn't want to get up!). A lovely welcome pack was provided and treats for the dogs. I would recommend to friends and family we had an enjoyable stay as did our little dogs.
