The property was perfect for our stay.

All rooms were clean and tidy. Location wise it was ideal for quick trips into Conwy. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Really loved our stay, it’s a beautiful cottage and its location is fantastic.

I came with my two young children and my mother in law, so the set up with a bunk bed with double bed below was ideal (I co-sleep with my youngest anyway!). Conwy is a great place to visit, we had a lot of fun and visited nearby Llandudno too. Would definitely choose to stay here again if we ever come back to Conwy. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Haven's End in Conwy!

The location is perfect, so central yet still really quiet and feels very private. The property is very cozy and welcoming. It is well done up inside and felt very clean. The kitchen especially was great and had everything we needed. We were there with our 2 year old and 3 month old, and really appreciated the stair gates, high chair and cot! Overall a great stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Havens End, it's proximity to Conwy town centre a bonus.

We absolutely love this cottage and look forward to going back again in November and have already booked our 2 visits for next yr.

The cottage itself is beautiful, well equipped with a lovely enclosed garden for the dogs. Its our second visit her and the double bed mattress seems to have got alot less firm with use which resulted with me having to sleep on one of the sofas for the last night because of my back. But apart from that where the cottage is situated is the biggest bonus,close to all amenities. The parking can be tricky and you need to reverse up to it up the hill, but again it's no problem after you have done it a couple of times. I did report a wasp nest in the guttering which I don't think was looked at and got worse as the week went on and had a couple go in the cottage but didn't stop us enjoying the garden. This cottage is home from home to us and along with Conwy itself is a beautiful place to be and will continue visiting hopefully for many yrs to come.

Absolutely brilliant!

Havens End is a lovely cottage with everything you could need, the location is excellent 5 minutes to the sea front, 5 minutes to the shops, pubs etc but still so quiet sitting in the lovely garden. The hosts were very attentive and helpful would thoroughly recommend

Very well equipped cottage in a perfect location with good parking.

Four stars only given as the overwhelming smell of dog that hit us on entering the cottage. May I respectfully suggest your cleaner is a little bit more liberal with the carpet sanitizer in future.

Lovely house, great garden and facilities in a superb location!

This cottage is very well appointed and very clean, in fact great.

The parking and car access to the property is far from good, and under stated. You have to reverse 80 metres, up a narrow street with often cars parked on both sides. If cars are not parked tight to the walls you cannot get through and you have to call out owners to move their cars. On bank holiday Monday somebody, not from the street, fly parked. They cut off access to half the street for a full day. The car disappeared during the night, leaving us without transport for the whole day. I appreciate this is not the owners fault, but potential tenants should be aware. I could not recommend this property because of the parking. The cottage itself is great.

We had a lovely stay at the property and have been here before.

It’s ideally situated for Conwy and the property has everything you could possibly need. A welcome pack had been left for our arrival and included treats for the dogs, which was very thoughtful. Since our last visit, a garden seating area has been added which was great for relaxing in the sunny weather. The hosts very helpful when I left some items at the property.

We loved this property.

It was nicely tucked away in a quiet corner, very peaceful, but ideally placed for a short walk into town. Parking outside the property was perfect, reversing up the street wasnt a problem at all. Lovely, warm and cosy with everything you could need. Nicely decorated too, felt very much a home from home. The easter weather wasnt great for us to use the outdoor space but it looked a lovely space to spend a summers evening. This property suited us as a family of 2 adults, 1 teenager and our cockapoo. Nice touches with treats for us and the dog. Would highly recommend!

We had high hopes for this place.

We stayed in January and stayed in for 3 days due to the road works outside our door. The house was full of cobwebs and the bathroom was the same. In the garden our dog was finding bits of plastic and screws in the gravel that were mixed in with it. Would I stay there again? No thank you.

We have just returned from our stay at Havens End 13th - 20th March 2026 and very much wanted to leave some feedback.

The location of this accommodation is central in Conwy but due to its position at the end of a cul-de-sac by the town walls, it is very quiet and private and protected from traffic noise with plenty of room for parking outside the property. As a dog-friendly cottage it is very clean with no dog hair or doggy aromas. It is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and there is a snug in the attic space affording fabulous views of the town walls and harbour making a lovely alternative living space/reading room. There is a large and well equipped outdoor area which we were able to enjoy for the last two days as the weather warmed up. There are so many little touches which makes this a special place to stay including throws to protect the furniture (as we all know our furry friends like to sit with us!), an extra dog bed and dog bowls for food and water. We also arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco and a selection of biscuits. Thank you Julien and Beverley for this kind and thoughtful gesture. This really has been a home from home. We have had a perfect holiday here and will definitely be returning.

This was a lovely, homely little cottage right in the centre of Conwy.

The snug in the attic was a particular highlight for sunrise view of the castle if you stick your head out of the skylight! Instructions suggest reversing up the street to park. I’d advise checking first because if it is quiet you will have space to turn. I say this as I did reverse and burnt my clutch so would try and avoid that in the future! Overall a lovely place to stay for a break by the sea, with plenty of good quality chip shops and pubs in your doorstep. Would recommend walking out to the Marina for a drink at the Mulberry.

Fantastic 2 bed cottage in the centre of Conwy just a minutes walk from the main street and shops.

Being the end terrace, it is very quiet. Car parking space is a bonus although you do need to reverse in from the bottom of the road. Lovely gravelled garden area, ideal for dogs. Large well equipped kitchen. Definitely stay again when in Conwy.

Highly recommend staying at havens end, even though you are in the centre of Conwy it was very peaceful the location but within minutes walking distances to great independent shops, pubs & eating places .

The house is great everything we needed, beds very comfortable best sleep I’ve had in a while and the enclosed garden is a bonus if you have dogs.The extra sitting area on the third floor is a bonus & if you open the skylight you have great views of the castle walls and the castle . Will definitely be booking again we all loved it as a family of 4 & 3 dogs . Thanks to the owners for making this lovely property available to use 10/10

Stopped at Havens end for 5 nights with a friend.

We both found the 3 storey Cottage to be fantastic. Even though it’s a dog friendly accommodation, found it to be clean smelling and spotless. It’s well equipped, spacious, and the complimentary Prosecco and biscuits were a lovely touch. It’s also very quiet and peacefully located. Would highly recommend.

A great location ,both quiet and comfortable with easy access to the town and all the local facilities.

No notice of traffic. The house has all you need for a relaxing holiday, or a base to explore this amazing town and snowdonia national park,just a short drive away.great beach for family and dogs,five minutes drive away. Property is well maintained and a home from home. Can't falt it,will be going back.

This was a lovely cottage, situated in a perfect spot.

Great to walk down to the shops early morning to grab breakfast. Parking is alot easier then you may think, we have a big 7 seater and there was kore than enough room to park outside of the property. Lovely garden area to relax with a morning coffee. Nice kitchen area to cook in. The bedrooms where perfect for our family of 3 boys. The front room was a nice area for us to relax in after a long day out. Our only downpoint to the stay was the smell of wet dog when you first walk in the front room, no where else in the house, just the front room. Now we understand this is a dog friendly home, which is great for those who want to take in the area with a four legged friend. Would this put me off booking again, No. I think the owners have done a superb job of the renovation of this to share with everyone. We look forward to using this property again in the future

Central location in Conwy with loads of things to do within walking distance.

We had a lovely week 14th till 21st June 2025.

The weather was beautiful. The cottage is so cosy and the enclosed garden is very secure and didn't have to worry about our 4 dogs who came with us. The kitchen is very well equipped even though we eat out. The cottage was very clean and even though it was in the centre of town it was really peaceful. The seating area in the garden is great and spent our night's just chilling out there. There's plenty to do in the area as well as beautiful beaches a quick drive away. We are definitely going back next summer

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage.

The decor and furnishings are of a high quality and the kitchen is particularly well equipped. Very close to all the amenities and historical sites but remarkably quiet for the middle of town (apart form the usual seaside gulls and the pigeons.) Having a parking space is a bonus in Conwy but interesting as you have to back up the narrow street. Bev and Julian are excellent hosts and easy to contact and we would definitely stay again.

This is our 2nd stay at Havens End and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd.

The accommodation offers everything we needed for a long weekend stay with our 2 dogs. The location being inside the castle walls, with parking directly outside the property and an excellent decked seating area at the rear of the property made for a great stay Thanks Chris

Beautiful little cottage right in the heart of the town.

Every comfort provided - even for the dogs! (With beds and blankets available for them) Parking space outside front door was big enough but in and out of the road was very difficult with a longish car due to others parking at the end of the road. (Drivers ignoring the double yellow markings)

Good property , up against the town walls of Conwy, convenient for that Coney has to offer, added bonus is parking which can be a bit tight but reverse up the street no problem.

The house is comfortable and the outside space is a bonus, nice to sit and relax, also the attic room. Downside is that it is not big enough for 5, ok with 1 or 2 children, oven door is waiting repair, lack of kitchen towels and no oven gloves but we enjoyed our stay and everything that Conwy and surrounding areas has to offer.

Havens End was everything we wished for.

Julian is a great host, and the house had everything we needed, and is very dog friendly. We were impressed with how well equipped and thought out the home is. The pictures are accurate, and the house is perfect for a few days stay. Its location is fantastic. Its a short walk to everything, the shops, the river, the castle, the park, the beach.. My wife and I were looking for somewhere that we could go with our large dog (Golden Retriever). We found it very easy to self cater with great shops nearby, but there are plenty of options to eat out or get a take away. I would definitely return here without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Havens End is a perfect little house situated in a great location right inside the walls of Conwy Town, where anything in the town is no more than a 5 minute walk.

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything that was needed for a perfect stay; the beautiful outdoor space is a huge bonus. Julian the owner and host was extremely kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome for the duration of our stay. We would definitely recommend the property and will be back again if ever we need a place in Conwy. Having a parking space in right outside the property is a huge bonus.

The cottage was beyond expectations!

So homely, beautifully appointed and catered for all our needs. Situated in the most charming location and within easy walking distance of all of what Conwy has to offer!. Julian is an outstanding host. Attentive and so helpful ... thank you for your recommendations to help us feel right at home and welcome.

We think it should be mentioned about the castle wall walk, it was closed so not an issue for us but when open it would have a huge impact on privacy Owner lives 4 doors away, very helpful but not at all intrusive.

Beautiful cosy holiday cottage.

The cottage was in a great location, lots of lovely places to visit. The garden was great, totally secure for dogs. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. The bottle of fizz and beers left by the owners was a nice surprise. The owners lived a few doors away and introduced themselves to make sure we had settled in okay. We would happily return.

This was a very cosy, comfortable and clean cottage with everything you need for a self catering break supplied.

It is also very dog friendly. We stayed for just 4 nights so did not use the car which was parked securely outside the property. The location is fantastic for visiting Conwy. No problems during our stay but we did leave a couple of suggestions to the owner who was very receptive. Certainly would recommend this cottage to anyone who wishes to stay in Conwy

This was my third stay at Haven’s End and it just gets better every year.

The cottage is spotless, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. It’s so well set up for dogs as well and Conwy in general is also dog friendly. There were lots of great walks from the door - we particularly loved the stroll into Llandudno and the woods just along from the quay. I was almost hoping for a rainy day so I could relax in the loft room, reading and watching tv. Perhaps next year!

We had a really lovely time at Havens end cottage.

This was our second visit to this cottage and hopefully we will be back. Juillian the owner is very helpful and pleasant and is always on hand to help if it is needed. We had arrived a little earlier than the check in time on arrival day and we were able to park our car by the cottage rather than having to find somewhere in Conwy with a car full of things. Juillian was even happy for us to put our things in the cottage at this point rather than leaving them till we got back. On check out day again we were able to leave the car up by the house for a few hours whilst we went and looked round Conwy. There was a small issue with the toilet during our stay and Juilian was more than happy to pop round and sort it out. The outside seating area to the cottage was new to us on this stay and makes for a really beautiful addition to the property. I just love the position of the cottage literally within the walls of the castle and so close to the town. The views out over the estuary from the upstairs back room and the snug are amazing. The cottage is also within easy driving reach of Llandudno, Deganwy, Colwyn Bay, Glan Conwy and Rhos on sea. Would highly recommend

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location to explore Conwy and the rest of North Wales.

We had no issues reversing up the road like the rest of the residents. All the side roads in Conway are narrow so it is to be expected. Nicely decorated and well appointed with good facilities. Highly recommended

This gorgeous little cottage has everything you need for a break away.

Lovely little lounge and kitchen with enormous range cooker, the beds are really comfy and the outside space is a real bonus. The owner is welcoming and his communication was just great. We had a lovely relaxing peaceful stay and will definitely be back!

Parking is a bit of a nightmare

We loved Havens End what a beautiful cottage!

The town Conwy is stunning and rich with history, the people were friendly and helpful. Julian the landlord was helpful but did not interfere with our stay leaving us alone but let us know he was around if we needed anything! Everything you could need was at the cottage, it was so welcoming the lights were on when we arrived with a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the kitchen what a lovely welcome thank you! Situated in a great location right inside the UNESCO protected city walls. This does mean the parking outside the cottage is tricky but there are alternatives (long stay car park) nearby if you would prefer not to tackle it! if you have mobility issues the stairs are steep due to the age of the cottage. We visited with our 2 dogs and there are stair gates to prevent them going upstairs which was particularly good for our old collie who would struggle. The dogs loved it here and the garden area was a big hit. The dogs settled quickly and slept downstairs (as they do at home) with little fuss and then put their paws firmly under the mat. A really lovely relaxing stay with beautiful walks, views, food and accommodation. This was just what we needed away from our busy life. Thanks again Julian we would highly recommend this cottage!

Located very centrally near all the many attractions of Conwy. The back garden is great with a table and chairs, and the garden is secure and safe for dogs and children. The owners live nearby and are happy to help if you have any questions.

A lovely property in the heart of Conwy town.

Excellent accommodation over three floors. Julian has built a fantastic covered seating area outside with comfortable seating and lighting since our last stay. The loft room is a real added bonus in this house, a room to read & relax in or simply watch tv, views over Conwy Castle are lovely. Large Family sunny kitchen. One very good parking space in front of house, nobody ever asks you to move the car as it’s the end house against the Castle Wall. Thank you for everything, hope to see you soon Jackie & Ray.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay.

The property is lovely and accessible to the town and sea front where you have a wealth of shops and eating places. Even better is that this property has a parking space outside the front of the house. Its party piece is the snug room on the top floor which has the most amazing views to the Castle and sea. Well worth a stay.

Had a great 3 night stay at Havens End.

The property had everything we needed with a very nice courtyard garden perfect for catching a bit of sun and secure for the dogs. WiFi good. Netflix available on TVs and great location for exploring everything Conwy has to offer. Nice bottle of Prosecco chilled for our arrival but even better the owner came to tell us we didn’t need to leave by 10am and was OK till 11. That extra hour made a great deal of difference allowing us to walk the dogs and have a nice breakfast out before heading off. Thanks Julian

We had such a great week inthis lovely cottage in the centre of Conwy.

It had everything we and Milly the labrador could need. The sizeable garden/ patio is a rare find in the centre of Conwy. An added bonus is the top snug which is perfect for a quiet read or for children and teenagers to watchtv in their own space. The location makes it an ideal place to explore the rest of North Wales. The owners Julian and Beverley are friendly,helpful and accommodating. They are on hand without being in anyway intrusive. We would highly recommend this cottage and we will certainly be returning.

Parking straight outside the house which was a bonus although you do have to reverse which can be tight at times. Enclosed back garden for my little dog, well equipped kitchen we cooked breakfast everyday, Only negative was a doggy smell but it is a dog friendly holiday let overall would definitely return

Excellent stay for our second visit to the property.

Julian the property owner lives 3 doors away and is always helpful to attend to any concerns.Previous feedback highlights access difficulties and parking restrictions.This is not true ,yes you need to reverse but there have been temporary property renovations in the street that are almost finished. Best parking for properties within the walls of Conwy.So don't dismiss out on the opportunity to visit this property based on previous feedback.

This cottage is superb, spotlessly clean, complete with all mod cons.

As regards to being dog friendly beds, throws and bowls were all provided. Julian the owner who only lives a couple of doors away and is really helpful and even carried our cases in when we arrived. We certainly will be staying again and would reccomend to anyone.

The parking is a nightmare!

You have to reverse up a very tight road that is on a slight hill and then the space is only really big enough for a small car (like a fiat 500) not anything bigger. There is no way to do a u-turn on the road itself. There was rubbish in the garden including panes of glass lent up against the wall. The owner wasn't particularly helpful and left us waiting over 26 hours to move the glass, even though he lives a few doors down. If you are looking for a secure garden for your dogs please don't think this is - there is a huge gap under the decking that small dogs can get under and the garden wall connected to next door is only a few feet high (which is easy for dogs who jump to get over). The pictures of the garden are completely misleading as this wall isn't shown. There was also dog poo in the garden when we arrived. As we didn't take photos of this Sykes didn't believe us and any issues we had they sided with the owner. We will never book with Sykes again and do not recommend this property in any way.

After booking our Autumn Break inside the Walls of Conwy in North Wales we were really looking forward for our seven night stay in October 2023.

On arrival we found the cottage in Seaside Terrace with the side Entrance and Garden touching the actual stone wall. Inside the cottage was beautiful and although we had to reverse up Seaside Terrace to allow ourselves to easily drive to places outside of Conwy the location of Haven’s End is absolutely fabulous. It was superb to walk around the lovely streets, harbour and castle in Conwy with really nice independent shops, cafes and pubs. The other main highlights was driving about one mile to Morfa Beach to walk our dogs together with driving about 15 miles to the wonderful town of Betws-y-Coed and a few miles beyond to see fantastic views of Snowdonia Mountains. We also visited within minutes the seaside resorts of Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Colwyn Bay.

We had a lovely stay after a very stressful time.

The owner’s compassion meant a lot to us both, and we definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage very clean and well kept .

Comfortable bed . The kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal not that we’d did very often because we went out most nights for something to eat . You could not fault the location just a short walk and your on the Main Street . Will definitely be booking again

The cottage was just as it was shown in the brochure had everything we needed and the owner let us know he was only 4 doors down if we needed anything.

House was well stocked and the top floor had great views plus books and games. Garden was great for the dog and the decking was perfect for the excellent weather we had. I would definitely recommend the cottage. Positive for Conwy was onside Street parking but for a large car had to be careful parking took a 7/9 point turn.

The cottage it’s self was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable.

My only issue is there was no mention in Sykes information of the cottage being up two steep hills. This was a problem for me. I think this should be in your advert

Loved this cottage it was well equipped, very clean and comfortable, very dog friendly.

We enjoyed our stay with our fur baby Poulo. The back garden was secure enough to enjoy sitting outside relaxing with our dog enjoying the sunshine and a few drinks. The extra touches left by the owners such as Prosecco, biscuits, flowers and other little extras was an added treat.

Nice walks, dog friendly places to eat. Close to Bodnant gardens so visited the day I left. Would recommend & visit again.

Perfect location, ideally situated in easy walking distance of the harbour, town, castle and walks.

The dogs loved it and so did we. The cottage was nice and warm and we especially liked the openly accepted dog friendliness of the place as we have 3 and one of them is a little princess lol.

We had a fantastic New Years break at Havens End.

The cottage was nicely furnished, very cosy and in a great location. Everything that we could possibly need was provided and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The garden was very secure for dogs. We loved relaxing in the snug and the views from the velux window are great, especially the castle at night. We all came home feeling fully recharged after our break. Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back.

Lovely cosy cottage and couldn't get a better location with a 1-2 min walk to the shops and pubs yet no noise at night!

The castle wall runs alongside the property and so you can see the odd passers-by but you can also walk the castle wall yourself and see cottage from a different perspective! The cottage had everything you could possibly need and more including Alexa and hive heating, some welcome goodies, everything you might need for your pooch, tons of blankets amd towels, toilet roll, kitchen roll...... The view from the snug is incredible, especially to peep out of the velux window and see the castle lit up at night. The garden is very secure for dogs. In response to other comments and reviews, yes there is a hint of dog on arrival however you are renting a property which is well equipped for a dog, it was not over powering and the owner has provided throws for the furniture and air fresheners. Dogs ARE ALLOWED upstairs and the guide book now reflects this.

Really enjoyed staying at Havens End.

Furniture was comfortable also a well equipped kitchen, with a nice welcome pack, what was also nice, salt ,spices etc was provided. Pleasant secure back garden. I would recommend this cottage, reasonably priced and welcoming.

The property exceeded our expectations, it was extremely well equipped and was clean and tidy.

We loved here a job well done by the owner’s.

Unfortuntely the cottage is not welcoming when you enter as there is an overpowering "doggy" smell of which stayed the entire time we were there even with air freshers everywhere.

The living room was not liveable as the furniture was rather pongy. The upstairs loft area however was great and it meant we had somewhere clean and comfortable to spend in the evenings. I am afriad this is the first time I have ever left a negative review!!!

It's a beautiful house.

A charming little house.

Clean & comfortable and everything we needed was there. Minutes walk from the shops, pubs, castle & quay. Apart from when we first arrived, no issues parking. Please note if taking dogs we only discovered on arrival you are asked not to let them upstairs and a stair gate is in place to deter them. This was not mentioned when booking. Apart from this we would rebook this property.

Never been to North Wales before and loved staying in your cottage in Conwy.

Cottage is in a good position very close to all amenities.

Has everything you need. As others have said parking is a 'challenge' but managed to get a pickup parked up no problem.

Excellent cottage, had everything you could possibly need, amazing location, few minutes walk from restaurants and shops.

The only thing I would say is, is the parking is tight, especially if the street is full of cars.

Nice cottage, had everything we needed, including treats, balls and throws for the dogs.

We were very impressed with the cottage.

It was so nice to arrive and find it warm and welcoming. There were some very nice touches, welcome pack and flowers on dining table. Also very much appreciated the throws being available to cover the sofa to protect it. The cottage is well equipped , comfortable sofas, bed , nice fluffy towels We were so impressed , we have rebooked. Thank you .
