Marlin Cottage

A fantastic little cottage for two, cosy but roomy and with everything included that we could possibly have needed, and more!

Scrupulously clean and with every detail thought about to make it a home from home. Excellent location just outside the old town walls. Very quiet and peaceful, especially at night, and the sunny outdoor space was a bonus. Parking was occasionally tricky but there are plenty of other options nearby.

Excellent position close to the centre of Conwy this property offers quiet accommodation for two people for a few days in the town.

Everything we needed was provided by the host and we had a very enjoyable break. Five minutes walk into the town centre and the railway station with frequent bus services along the coastal towns. The house has a lovely rear garden with decking area and this catches the sun throughout the day.

Beautiful, cosy and clean cottage, perfectly positioned for walking into Conwy, only a 4 minute stroll away.

Everything you could want was provided and Liz had even left us treats. The cottage was beautifully decorated with local artwork and Portmerian crockery. Only downside was the very narrow staircase, not suitable for everyone. Parking was tight but we found a spot everyday. Would thoroughly recommend! Congratulations Liz on a great place!

If you need a cosy cottage close to all the main attractions in North Wales this property would be hard to beat.

Liz has thought of everything nad has gone beyond expectations with everything you could possibly need, from a lovely warm welcome, (we were lucky enough to meet Liz on our arrival), bottle of wine in the fridge, fruit cake and welsh cakes, to all the info and advice on local attractions and local eateries. Yes the parking can be difficult but the cottage more than made up for the short walk from the car.

This is our second visit to Marlin Cottage and it was just as perfect the second time around.

Liz the owner is the most thoughtful person we have come across when it comes to the finishing touches that make a holiday stay just that little bit more special. Marlin cottage is cosy, very comfortable and a very good base to explore Conwy and beyond. We journeyed by train this time as we knew the cottage was just a short walk from the station. Public transport is excellent and we even got to Bodnant Garden.

Super clean and turned into a welcoming Christmas cottage by the owner.

Everything required was available and a great deal of thought has gone into making it just right.

Tastefully presented . Very close to Conwy , great base to explore this beautiful part of Wales.

A beautifully clean, attractive cottage only 5 minutes walk from the center of Conwy and the castle.

Cottage was a dream, everything you could possibly need.

Close to the town but a little hilly, parking was sometimes difficult but managed to find a spot each day. Nice little garden at the back which caught the evening sun. Would stay again thanks Liz.

The property was immaculate and it had everything you could possibly could need, everything was labelled and all the instructions were all together.

I think want we loved more than anything was the owner was there greet us she was such a lovely friendly and helpful person that we would stay there again for that very reason,thank you for a fabulous stay.

It would be nice if you could provide a low-TOG duvet when it's hot

Marlin Cottage was one of the best equipped properties we have ever stayed in.

Everything was spotless, and beautifully furnished with lots of lovely touches to make us feel welcome. A lovely welcome pack greeted us on arrival, and our host was always available to provide information and helpful suggestions. We would totally recommend staying here, and we really enjoyed our week in Conwy.

This is by far our favourite place to stay in Conway.

Liz is a very welcoming and friendly owner who continues to provide an accommodation second to none. The whole cottage is immaculate with excellent facilities. For two people it is perfectly comfortable and where nothing has been forgotten. We were fortunate on this occasion to have great weather, sunny and warm, which allowed us use of the peaceful and very private back garden. Without a doubt we will be returning.

Wonderful warm and cosy cottage.Very clean with every necessity provided and some super treats as well.Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding,large fluffy bath sheets and quality toiletries. Liz is a brilliant host.We hope to return.

This is a wonderful cottage in a perfect location.

The owner clearly cares about the comort of guests and there's absolutely everything you would want! Well equipped kitchen although Conwy has so many good places to eat, did not need to cook much. The property is very well heated and totally cosy. Would definitely stay again.

It's a lovely, cosy, well-maintained holiday home in the beautiful town of Conwy (just a few minutes walk into the centre). It's spotless and very well equipped. Lots of little things are provided that many other holiday property owners don't even consider. It's in a really quiet residential area. Thanks for another great week Liz - and for all the treats that you left for us. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived - so welcoming compared to the horrible weather outside. This cottage is a beautiful wonderful home away from home.

It is quiet, peaceful, in a perfect location near the heart of Conwy, tucked just on the outskirits of the town and within walking distance of everything. Liz is a most gracious and thoughtful host who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable and comfortable. I would 100% return to this cottage for a future stay.

Fabulous cottage, kept very clean and with every need anticipated!

Within walking distance from Conway town in a quiet road; considerate parking required. Details of cottage, appliances and local eateries supplied along with books on the local areas. Stairs narrow and unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems but this was pointed out in the description. Charming, very helpful owner obviously loved by all her guests! Would stay again!

Very cosy little cottage.

Extremely well appointed. Had problems with shower which was quickly resolved by owner. Some missing channels on TV which needs sorting but otherwise we would highly recommend this accommodation. The owner Liz was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing small but perfectly formed cottage ideal for 2 people and within easy (but slightly hilly) walking distance of the town centre.

We've never stayed in such well equipped accommodation, everything you could possibly want is provided and is top quality. As identified in the cottage description the stairs are extremely narrow and steep but wouldn't be a problem for anyone who doesn't have mobility issues. Also, parking on the quiet cul-de-sac outside is at a premium but we had no issues finding a space. Cannot recommend highly enough

A beautiful, clean property provided with everything you could need for when you arrive.

There is so much love and attention put into the property by Liz the owner it could not be faulted. It also has the benefit of being within minutes walking of Conwy centre but the property itself is very quiet. We did not find parking a problem either. Excellent property.

This cottage genuinely could not have been better.

The whole place sparkled, the bed and living room furniture were beyond comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the kitchen was equipped as though someone actually lived there. The garden was a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day. Liz left thoughtful welcome gifts and was readily available if needed. It's right outside the town walls, so an easy 10 minute walk to anything in Conwy but also easy to get out of town - and there's lots to see in the vicinity. Would love to return.

What a super, comfy cottage - only 5 minutes walk into the centre of Conwy - a great base to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer.

The owner, Liz, sets the bar very high for cleanliness and 'little extra touches' - all very much appreciated. The treats on arrival (along with milk, tea, coffee and refrigerated, bottled water) were lovely. We left our car at home. The bus service and train service from Conwy are very good. Thank you Liz, your kindness and thoughtfulness have given us a great 'home from home' in Conwy. We'll certainly return. x

This is our third visit to Marlin Cottage which is well situated in Conwy, near the Castle walls, and within an easy walk to the Quayside and shops.

The cottage is well furnished and fully equipped to ensure comfortable stay. It is a proper home from home and my wife and I hope to return next year. Five stars.

This beautiful cottage has everything you could possible need, however there is a big issue with lack of parking.

It is situated on a hill and if you have mobility problems then this is not the place to stay. We were told to move our car twice within five minutes of arriving so unfortunately we won’t be returning.

This was the most perfect cottage for two.

The standard of cleanliness, and the facilities provided are all outstanding and beyond anything my wife and I have experienced before. Liz, provided us with an extremely nice welcome pack as well as a very warm and helpful greeting to the cottage. We felt at home immediately and will not hesitate to return in the future.

Very clean and tidy. Nice and central to the town but a quiet no through lane. Comfy bed. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Very happy to recommend to family and friends.

This is our second stay at Marlin Cottage, Conwy.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything (central heating, washing machine, dishwasher etc.) that could be needed for a visit. The decking area at the rear of the cottage is perfect to sit with a glass on an evening. The cottage is located close to Conwy Castle and local amenities, with many places of interest nearby. The owner Liz is very helpful with information about the area, and her "welcome trays" have local delicacies. This cottage deserves its 5 star rating and we hope to visit again in the future. Marlin Cottage is absolutely beautiful.

It's a short walk into the centre of Conwy but so peaceful. It's extremely well equipped and so comfortable, a real home from home. I would highly recommend.

Marlin Cottage was exactly as shown on the photos.

It was cosy and homely and spotlessly clean. We met Liz the owner and she gave us information where to eat and where to go during our stay. She had thought of everything in the cottage even down to a “bits and pieces” tray containing blue tack, sellotape, sewing kit etc. The smart TV also had Netflix so you can catch up with any programmes you want, amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends. Thank you Liz for your hospitality and love you have put into the the cottage.

A lovely, very well equipped cottage so central to everything in Conwy.

A five minute walk from train and bus, Plas Mawr Manor House and of course the famous Conwy Castle! We arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner and our welcome tray was full of delightful Easter treats! The fire was lovely. The bed very comfortable. The bathroom modern and well stocked with soaps, shampoos, towels etc. We would definitely stay again! Jennifer

Marlin Cottage is an excellent place for a couple to stay, if visiting the Conwy area.

The cottage is cosy, beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The owner, Liz, provides a well stocked "welcome tray" for arrivals and there is an information pack about the house containing details of places to visit in the area. Conwy itself is very picturesque and, despite the weather, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The best recommendation that we can give is that we hope to return to Marlin Cottage next year.

We have just got back from a lovely week in Conwy.

There are so many places to visit and they are close by. Marlin Cottage is very close to the train station, bus stops and town. The owner Liz is very welcoming, she even made us a cup of tea when we arrived. The welcome tray was amazing and very much appreciated. The cottage is very cozy and spotlessly clean. Liz has thought of everything, it really is home from home. We will be back.

A wonderful house ,ideal for two people.

It had everything, and more, that you could need during your stay. Beautifully decorated and ideally situated for walking into Conwy and for travelling around the area .

The cottage was perfect - cosy and warm with everything you could possibly need.

The owner provided lots of little extras to make the stay even better. The cottage is really well situated just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The only slight criticism is that parking can get difficult on the street but there is a public car park just a short walk away, which we used twice in the week. We had a wonderful week in Conwy which is a lovely place in itself but also perfectly situated to explore both the coast and Snowdonia!

The cottage is in a great location, 5 minutes from the harbour, castle and town centre.

Great care has been taken to include everything anyone could need and it was extremely clean.

Marlin Cottage is a beautiful place to stay for exploring North Wales.

A few minutes walk from the centre of Conwy and only 30 minutes drive from all the main places to visit in North Wales. Liz was an amazing host and went above and beyond making sure we had everything to make our stay a comfortable one. Inside the cottage amenities were fabulous and there was so much attention to detail on the soft furnishings. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return soon to this beautiful gem in Conwy! Thank you Liz

Cottage, although small contains everything you need for a perfect stay, 5 minutes to town centre where you can access public transport. Ant recommended highly enough.

The cottage is lovely and quaint on top of a hill in Conwy.

Liz the owner has thought of everything and left a lovely welcome pack containing wine, welsh cakes, tea, biscuits and coffee. The house has everything you could want and was great to relax in after long days of walking in the surrounding hills and towns. Communication from the owner was superb and she even kindly posted a bag back to me that I left behind after my stay. I highly recommend this cottage both for the cottage itself and the attentiveness of the owner.

There is everything you could need and more in the cottage, I don’t know how she’s thought of so many things. The cottage is on a really quiet road but only 5 mins walk down to the lovely town of Conwy which has lots to see and lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and bakeries. You park on the road and I was worried about not getting a spot after we had been out but we went out 5 days and always got parked up fine. A fantastic cottage and made for a fantastic holiday. Amazing.
