Merywen Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at Merywen Cottage and cannot recommend it enough.

It’s extremely close to the station and all the amenities Conwy has to offer, and on top of all of that it has its own stunning view of the town from its unique terrace top. We enjoyed every aspect of this cottage as a family and agreed the stay itself was a personal highlight. Every little detail is accounted for inside and out, and it felt roomy enough for us all to have enough space while still feeling cosy in the evening. We hope to be able to return very soon.

Whilst the parking is a bit of a lottery, & a very tight squeeze, the cottage & location are a big hit

Beautiful cosy cottage.

Property was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we needed. Great location in the centre of Conwy. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the evening taking in the stunning views. We loved the property and have booked to go back in October

We loved our stay at the cottage, it had everything you could need, including an iron, a hair dryer and a coffee press.

Lovely, cosy cottage, Very well presented.

In easy walking distance to town centre. The road is a little steep so not ideal for people with mobility or some chronic health issues. Unfortunately the log burner was out of use due to it being broken, ideally we would have liked to use it to achieve the overall experience. The lovely welcome gift was hugely appreciated. Thankyou very much. Overall we had a lovely stay and would certainly return.

Spotlessly clean and all the facilities we needed. The view from the balcony was lovely. Close to the main town with all amenities. Would book again!

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a lovely stay could not have asked for anymore.

Lovely comfy beds and the outdoor space was a real bonus. The only minor niggle was the parking. The space was very restricted and availability depended on which other neighbours were parking on the road. But we always found somewhere to park nearby. Would definitely recommend property.

Merywen cottage was very tastefully decorated and modern inside.

It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Welcome basket on arrival nice touch. The outside balcony area was an added bonus in the heatwave, great views. Ideal location for getting around the town and very close to the train station.

Lovely property.

Shame about all the wheelie bins to the front - spoils the street view/ appearance. A few slight cleaning issues on arrival plus left hoover out in the front bedroom. Generally a lovely place to stay and close to all the amenities

Very nice cottage in a great location.

Lovely welcome package upon our arrival. We parked in the Mount Pleasant parking lot right behind the city walls, which made it very convenient to get around as we used Conwy as a home base for several day trips. I would recommend it.

A lovely stay at Merywen Cottage.

It was clean and well equipped and there was a lovely little welcome pack including a bottle of prosecco. The outside terrace on the first floor was a lovely space and we were lucky enough to get fabulous weather so we were able to enjoy a morning coffee outside overlooking Conwy.

The flat was lovely and clean.

Well appointed and had everything we required. The Bara Brith and Prosecco was very tasty and pleasantly unexpected.

It was a lovely cottage which was clean and well maintained.

The location to the town centre and harbour was just right. We were fortunate to be able to sit on the terrace to watch the fireworks over the castle on Christmas Eve. The communication from the owners was very good and helpful. I would quite happily book again.

As we travelled to Conwy by train it was very handy for the train station and the bus stops. The cottage was comfortable and although only a short walk to all the local amenities was on a quiet street. We hope to return for another visit to Conwy and Merywen Cottage

Lovely cottage in a convenient location, lots of homey touches. Stunning view from the balcony, lovely place for a relaxed breakfast or late-night drink. On-street parking is tight, but nearby pay and display alternatives are available. Would happily stay again.

Lovely renovation, fantastic locations on, outside dining space with view of the castle and surrounding area.

Spotless, well appointed and very well kept.

The unit felt brand new. East access to the castle wall walk (just across the street), and the city center (just a block down the road) but still quiet at night. We LOVED the patio looking over the town. We parked in front of the unit two nights, and around the corner at the public parking lot (just a few euros) one night. Excellent place to stay!

Property was exactly as described , perfect for a small family and dog.

Location was great as you can walk directing into Conwy itself. House was comfortable and very clean. I’d say the only unfortunate thing was the parking situation a very narrow street which can make it difficult to find a space to unpack or reload you’re car , we did pay for parking each day , only a very short walk from the property. A handy place for a short mini break Thanks for the great communication and welcome basket also

Really lovely cottage, very clean and great rooftop view and seating area.

Conwy was very nice and lots of places nearby to visit such as Anglesey and Bodnant Garden. I would highly recommend a stay here.

This is a really lovely cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The location is great, really handy for good shops and restaurants. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed is probably the best we've ever had in a holiday cottage, shower was great and we really enjoyed the balcony with fab views over Conwy. Would be happy to stay again and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovley time at Merywen cottage; the cottage is well situated within the town walls with easy access to the centre.

The street is quiet and you wouldn't know you were in the town centre. Parking is at a premuim and so we parked on Mount Pleaseant which is just around the corner and paid a daily rate. Get the pay by phone app and just update as required. The house was comfortable and clean with all the nesseasary items you'd need and the Bara brith that Rhiannon left us in the welcome basket was great with a cuppa. The towels and bedding were changed for week 2 and Alistair and Rhiannon text to check all was OK or if we needed anything. The balcony at the top is a good vantage point to watch people on the walls and relax when the weather permits. All in all I'd recommend this as a lovely place to stay. There is easy access to the wall from the end of the street, easy access to a childrens park off ditch street and walks into the woods for the dog, then return along the estuary wall and into town. The food at the Erskin was good and the cakes from the bakery at the bottom. Also the food from Edwards were good. we can recommend the Jalsa tandoori and we had to bring the main back as the starters filled us. From Conwy you are within easy reach of the Snowdonia national park and the costal towns, it's a good centre to explore from.

This is an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable cottage in a perfect location in the picturesque coastal town of Conwy.

The roof terrace overlooking the castle walls is a real treat and the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in. It is a perfect base to explore the Conwy area and beyond. There are numerous good places to eat and drink just a short walk from your front door.

Brilliant cottage, excellent location, really well equipped with everything you need, even a game of Chess.

Kids loved it and so did my cocker spaniel, we will be back. I can not fault at all.
