    “We had a great stay.”

..Great location and really nice place. We love the conservatory...Great place to sit with a coffee in the morning and for a relax after a day out...and with a nice garden and view of the hillside. Lovely. And we could hear the sea from the garden too. You could make the property even better for us by putting curtains with a heavier lining in the front bedroom - the streetlamp outside was a bit bright for me so blocking that a bit would be great.

The property

Bro Mebyd is a charming, detached cottage located near a beach in the seaside town of Criccieth.

With an enclosed yard and ground-floor living, this pet-friendly home is ideal for four friends or a small family.

Leave your car in a private parking place before entering to find the entrance hallway, where you may kick off your shoes and prepare to explore the coastline.

The open-plan living area is the ideal spot to unwind after a long day, where you can stretch on the sofa with a cup of tea while the TV plays your favourite shows.

Step into the modern kitchen, which features an electric oven and hob, as well as a dishwasher for a hassle-free clean; when dinner is ready, settle down at the dining table and uncork a bottle of champagne.

When the sun shines, you and your pet may relax on the back lawn, while on gloomy days, you can curl up in the conservatory and read a book.

After an exciting day, take a steaming shower or soak in a bubble bath in the tub in the family bathroom, and put your towel on the radiator to keep it warm and fluffy.

When your eyes tyre, there are two well-presented bedrooms waiting for you; select between a double and a twin bedroom, both with plenty of storage to unpack your belongings.

Awaken in the conservatory with a steaming cup of coffee before joining your guests at the dining table for a delicious brunch.

A rocky beach is only a few minutes away, where you can take your dog for a walk and spend the afternoon snorkelling or relaxing.

History buffs will enjoy a walk up the hill to see the ruins of Castell Criccieth, which were destroyed by Welsh Princes, and for further activities, visit Porthmadog, which has a Maritime Museum and traditional steam trains.

A short drive takes you to Porthmadog and the Italianate village at Portmeirion, well worth a visit. Abersoch, a seaside community, is also worth a visit, with its Blue Flag beach where you may relax on the golden sand and its big waves for surfers; fuel your explorations at beachfront cafes and watch the world go by.

Consider Bro Mebyd for a much-needed getaway to the gorgeous Llyn Peninsula.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
