This is the BEST Self catering accommodation we have stayed in!

We have never stopped in such a lovely well presented and so vey clean property in the UK before.

Our standards are very high and this beautiful property met all our expectations. Thank you to the owners and the people who look after it and the cleaners for keeping such high standards A lovey house with fantastic views

Stunning location overlooking the bay.

The house was quiet, relaxing, spacious, very well equipped, clean and practically laid out. A short walk to the beach and town centre with a choice of food outlets. A good location for exploring Snowdonia National Park, historical sites and castles. The double beds were kingsized (5'0), but the bedrooms were so large, it would have been a nice touch to have had super kingsized (6') beds, but they were still very comfy. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Our stay at Bryn Deryn was really enjoyable.

The location was spectacular. The house was spotless and large so that as all the family went we were not on top of each other all the time. My son had contacted the owner regarding the car charging and said that he was very helpful. There were just a couple of things I would mention. It would have been nice to have a key to the patio door in the snug so that the door could have been opened in the lovely weather and have direct access to the front patio and the microwave would be more convenient in the kitchen to prevent the hike into the utility room all the time. There is plenty of room for a small unit under the clock to house it. Really super place we would go again

Overall a very nice house BUT in this day and age not having a reliable TV signal is not acceptable especially with satellite TV being available.

We had 2 nights of no TV at all.Perhaps discontinue the free bottle of wine on arrival and instal basic satellite TV. It works out cheaper a month than the wine !

Truely amazing home from home and more .

The views are stunning, fabulous area to stay and in close proximity to all other coastal sights. The steam train ride from Porthmadog is a must for any age group. Light the log burner on a chilly evening while watching the ever changing sea view. The beds are super comfy and the showers are fab and the house is spotless what more could you ask for.

Very clean, so much space and every facility you could need. So much to do around and about and the local area is lovely. The little welcome tray was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Four adults, really enjoyed the views which are constantly changing. What you see on the phogoraphs probably undersells the property i.e. the scale of the house does not come across.

Excellent holiday home, best we have stayed in.

Everything high quality and clean and comfortable. Spacious property with amazing views!

The house was very spacious amd well furnished.

The bathroom and large ensuite were warm with underfloor heating and heated towel rails. It was a pleasure to shower. The modern kitchen was well equipped and there was a mud room for shoes and beach paraphenalia and a very large utility room.The sitting areas at the front, because of the elevation, gave amazing views over the sea and front of Criccieth. The sheltered dinindgarea at the back was excellent for outdoor meals. Also good selection of games provided for wet weather which we had! Superb property.

We couldn't fault the house - it was spotlessly clean with brilliant facilities and the most amazing views of the bay. Access was easy with a very good key safe and parking. The lovely welcome tray with milk, Bara Brith and wine was a nice surprise on arrival and just what we needed to set us up for a great holiday. Would definitely book again.

! Spotlessly clean, every room was beautifully decorated and the views were just perfect. As a party of 6 adults we had so much room and the garden was huge.

Absolutely fantastic house.

So spacious, clean, well maintained and the best thing was the stunning sea views from nearly every room - the photos don't do it justice. Lovely location. One of the best houses we've stayed in. Only downsides - some garden furniture on the large side garden would be great, as the kids wanted to play there and you can't watch them from the seating at the front of the house. It would be great to be able to sit there and eat too. Also, it would have been nice to have been warned about the building work going on next door - shame to be woken before 8am by builders and listening to them all day when enjoying the peace and gorgeous views. Obviously can't be helped and I'm sure it won't last too long. Overall, a really fantastic holiday and we loved the house. Thank you.

A wonderful property that was the basis of a great trip away.

It is superbly located, great ambience, spotlessly clean and everything is new and functions perfectly. It appears to be someone’s private second home that they kindly let us stay in. This is defo a 10/10 and we will be back for sure.

This is no run of the mill holiday home.

From the imposing outside facade to the spacious interior, everything is just perfect. The accommodation is spotless. The furnishings and equipment are of the highest order. In fact everything has been created for the comfort of holiday guests. This includes the luxurious bathrooms, a very special feature. Guests will not have out of date information and brochures to contend with. Starting with a letter of welcome, the owner has produced what we consider to be the best information folder we have ever seen in decades of self catering. Here you will find step by step details of use of electrical appliances, local places to eat, walks and much more. We should also mention the superb panoramic views from many of the rooms. In short, Bryn Deryn has everything you could want from a holiday home.

We enjoyed our stay at lovely Bryn Deryn despite having pretty awful weather.

The house is extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. When the sun came out it was a pleasure to sit at the front of the house and enjoy the amazing sea views.

Excellent accommodation - best we have stayed in.

Well equipped and good quality items. Lots of safe play space for children. Superb views and great location. Our weather was sunny and warm. Cleanliness was top rate. Will definitely book to stay again .

This is a lovely property in a fabulous location.

The house is spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need. The bathrooms are especially nice, they are ‘very posh’ according to my 6 year old. The views over the bay are wonderful. We had an amazing holiday, none of us wanted to leave. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent house for a holiday, a short walk to the beach and shops/cafe.

There were only 3 of us so we had massive of space as the property is huge. Excellent views over the beach and out to sea from the many windows and the outside seating. Really relaxing place to be.

Absolute perfection!

Everything was perfect and if we could score higher than a 5 we would! Amazing location, spectacular views, plenty of space for 6, immaculately clean, very high quality fixtures and fittings, so well equipped and even the weather was fantastic. What more could you want?! We had a brilliant week. No one wanted to leave! Thank you!

The property was immaculate and clean.

Amazing views of the sea. My only negative comment is that the mattress in the master bedroom was too firm. My husband and I like a firm mattress but this was just too firm. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point. It’s one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Loved this house.

Location was perfect. We are still talking about the view from the house. We didn’t realise so many rooms were locked, obviously personal belongings of the owner who visits frequently. Plenty of space despite that. We would return to Criccieth without doubt.

Stunning house overlooking Criccieth, Cardigan Bay and southern Snowdonia.

Great to wake up to sunrise over the mountains and sea. Superb facilities, decor and cleanliness. The owners have this property about perfect. We have been renting in North Wales twice a year for the last 12 years and this is one of the very, very best. Superb.

Comfortable, spotless and lots of space. Great garden for evening meals, but not enclosed. Would definitely visit again.

Great property.

Only negative was being expected to strip beds of linen and bagging laundry prior to departure. This should really be done by the cleaner shouldn’t it?

Excellent property, beautifully presented and exceptionally clean, wonderful views.

Property is quite close to the main road A487 so need to be aware there is constant background noise from the road. Additionally the third bedroom, the twin room, is not on the ground floor as outlined in the details but on the first floor which may cause accessibility problems for some.

Lovely house very clean with lots of home comforts.

Fully equipped kitchen should you need anything. We found local take outs and eat in restaurants. Great views, very quiet. Lots of space. Great location.

It is spacious, luxurious and extremely clean situated in a lovely village with access to many places. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A superb property, having good sized rooms with excellent fixtures, fittings and facilities throughout.

Great location with sea views. A very minor gripe is to say that it would have been helpful to have had labelled keys to all external doors (x2 ?) It would also have been nice to have known from your brochure whether or not there was a barbecue.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and homely, with additional touches that made it a luxurious experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were really sad to leave.

Great nice house with everything we neededp

The house was absolutely beautiful even nicer than the pictures suggest which is highly unusual.

The house was also immaculate from top to bottom and the quality of furnishing extremely high. The beds were also incredibly comfortable. An all-round wonderful first experience with Menai.
