Perfect practical and comfortable accommodation with quality furniture and fittings.

Well equipped with excellent recycling facility ( I mention as this is unusual in holiday lets). Quiet location with easy walking access to the coast. We wouldn’t hesitate to go again!

We enjoyed our stay at Ivy Cottage it was clean & comfortable & a very good location.

Our only criticism is that the garden isn't fully enclosed. so we couldn't keep the back door open for our benefit or our dog's. There is an enclosed grassed area which was good but not immediately as you go out the back door.

The cottage is perfect - cosy, welcoming and the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need! The bed was very comfortable. We slept in the front room, and it was very quiet even though it is on the road. It is perfectly situated to visit the Llyn peninsula and North Wales in general. I highly recommend

We could find no fault with the property, all the fixtures and fittings were as described and in excellent order, the seating was comfortable, as was the bed.

Our only problem was that we chose the first week of the heatwave which rather extreme, however the owner did provide us with a new still boxed electric fan which provided some relief overnight. To summarize, I could find no fault.

As soon as we went through the door we felt comfortable and at home.

Well equipped and nicely furnished. No problem parking on the road outside. Very handy for the little shop in a shed across the road with an honesty box. The pub is closed as major renovations are being undertaken but Criccieth is only a few minutes away and has several pubs & hotels that do meals. Only thing to watch out for was that the hot water got very hot!

A lovely cottage. Very clean. Personally I would have liked a slightly thicker duvet for the chilly nights.

Our group had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend.

The facilities were clean, cozy and comfortable, no complaints really! If you have a car, it is well situated for exploring Eyri. For the price, this is a really fabulous deal and I can't recommend it enough. One small request might be to stock the pantry with just a few more basics like oil :)

Lovely little cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday.

We stayed last August and couldn't wait to return. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is wonderful! The WiFi is very fast and we didn't have any problems with it. The information on all the appliances is very useful. Managed to get a parking space very close by, both evenings we were there. Hopefully we will be back again next August. Thank you.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the cottage and were sorry to have to leave it was decorated brilliantly and very clean.

Would be good to have gates so dogs don't wander into next doors gardens.

A few cobwebs here and there but I didn’t expect anything else as it’s an old but lovely cottage.

So I’m not going to knock it back for that. All the utilities you need for a great stay, and of course the beds are so comfortable I didn’t need much rocking go fall asleep.

Lovely little cottage.

Everything in it that you needed. Kitchen really well equipped. Beds are so comfortable. Be aware if taking dogs that there is a little garden with a gate on but to get to it there is a communal bit at the back that has access to the row of cottages. There is a side bit that goes to the front so make sure you put dog on lead to put in garden as they can get round and run into the road (as one of our did). Once in garden very safe. We enjoyed our stay.

! So did our dog!!! Lovely cottage, everything we needed! Could have done with an extra tea towel is all!! Easily to get to places. Loved Criccieth and Harlech! Abersoch was lovely too. Reasonably priced meals, coffee and snacks along the way!! Despite poor weather, typical rainWelsh days, we had a lovely time away. Thank you! :)))

We had a wonderful stay at Ivy House, the property had everything we needed, a perfect location to relax and enjoy the property and the village which had everything we needed.

We would like to thank the owner for all his help and advice, and for allowing us the chance to enjoy such a lovely property. We would love to return and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A lovley cosy cottage with a nice functional kitchen and nice furniture in each room.

We enjoyed the log fire and the fantastic pub close by. Also good to know is that there is a small community shop (24/7) with some needful articles like milk, coffee, jam and some sweets etc. We would book it again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent cottage in a friendly village!

My second visit this year. The owner has thought of everything in this cottage, making it a 'home from home' experience. Lovely welcome pack, including treats for the dogs. Lots to do and see in this area with stunning scenery. I have already booked another visit for next May.

Cottage was lovely, very well equipped for self catering.

I liked the toothbrush holder and soap and shampoo holders in the shower, little things like that usually get missed in most holiday accommodation. Nice welcome pack, much appreciated. Comfy beds and sofas. The only thing that spoiled the holiday was the horrendous wet weather we had all week which couldn't be helped.

A wonderful base to explore the Llyn peninsula, kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds & garden was adequate for our 2 dogs.

Outside cobbles needs attention & garden bench needs replacing but otherwise a lovely place to spend the week.

The cottage was clean , comfy and relaxing and in a beautiful spot . The David Lloyd George museum next door is very interesting and it's a great base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula

A great location to explore Llyn Peninsula.  Location on main street of village, but quite enough as not a throughfare route as village bypassed. My only frustration was asking a question the day before arrival. I called the number provided and was directed to getting a text messge back. I have booked through Sykes and found them to be ok. On this occasion not so. I will leave you to judge for yourself below the text message comms below. Menia Holiday Cottages, seem to be part of Sykes but for Wales only. My message to Menia Can you confirm Ivy House has a fridge/ freezer as per pictures and not just a icebox in a fridge. From Menia the follwing day. Hi. You are speaking with Andrew. I was already travelling to cottage. I had with me the relevant info, address and combination for keysafe. Hiding behind Data protection, oh my god. Great place!

!! It would have been nice to have a teapot and less cobwebs, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the holiday.

Excellent small cottage virtually next door to Lloyd George museum.

Very clean and well equipped. Appreciated the welcome pack of Welsh butter, Welsh cakes, marmalade and butter. Small garden was not an issue for my two collies as footpath through woods adjacent to the river was very close. Likewise footpath to coast and Criccieth. Will be booking another visit for next year.

Lovely clean cottage only one slight thing shower needs new silicon sealing. Village quiet, lovely walks down by the river, pub open Wednesday to Sunday please note does not serve food. All in all a nice relaxing week in a very scenic part of North Wales.

The cottage is well equipped has a small patio and garden gated for your little fur babies to run around. The beds were extremely comfortable and bedding of a good quality. I would definitely recommend Ivy Cottage and we stay there again

We had a very enjoyable Easter break at the property.

Access to the coastal path very easy and the property in a nice quiet location. Dog treats were left which were welcomed by our 2 dogs. We were treated to welsh cakes and marmalade too! Cottage well equipped with everything you need including dog bowls and throws.

This is our 2nd visit to the cottage.

The location is perfect for dog walking and the beaches nearby are excellent for dogs also and clean. We will definitely be back.

A lovely week had by all wellcome pack was a thoughtful touch and the little things like pet dishes and towels were a lovely to see.

Although we know the area well we still found and enjoyed new things along with some old favourites. Walks along the river were much enjoyed. The Coffee hut along the front at Criccieth and not forgetting the Goat Inn all new discoveries. House is lovely to stay in and we cant wait to return next year. we will recommend to family and friends (but make sure we book first :) ) M J R B and Teddy
