We arrived late around 5pm and the kitchen floor was still wet from having being mopped so needless to say my two year old slipped twice! We all nearly slipped to be honest. There were nowhere else to go in the house whilst it dried. So I had to use towels to dry the floor! Aside from that it was freezing sat by the aga…. couldn’t get that to work.. no instructions visible. You clearly felt shut off from the rest of the house but that also gave you feeling of insecurity too.
Upstairs was cosy. The bathroom was good albeit it was downstairs. Kids loved the bath and being surrounded by cows and sheep. Definitely isolated. If it was a bit more comfortable ie had a living room it be great!
