Beach House (Ty Traeth)

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday home.

The location was excellent, peaceful and convenient for exploring the area. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

The flat is in a beautiful position looking out over the Conway hills.

The sunsets are superb. The accommodation is always clean and is well equipped. We have been four times now so must be ok!

Very well situated for accessing the beach and exploring the north wales coast. Would definitely book again.

Lovely apartment, very spacious and well equipped We did get noise from upstairs and the parking was impossible, maybe ok for very small cars, we did get advise of parking on the street though so that solved that problem.

Its a beautiful property, well looked after and maintained.

The only thing that we did not expect or made aware of was the construction work that is going on. Not idea with all the noise when you are trying to rest. Aside from that everything else was perfect and we would most defiantly look at going to this property again.

Lovely spacious well equipped apartment.

The bed was really comfy and everything was clean and tidy. Everything you needed, from tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels and washing up liquid were all available. The apartment is well situated in between LLandudno and Conway, and both are a 45 min walk along the costal path. Deganwy village has some lovely little shops and the Station Cafe does a lovely breakfast. Will definitely be booking this apartment again.

Lovely property well equipped and quite easy to get to from the A55,nice big patio for sitting out in the sun,I had to put a suitcase in front of the gate to stop my little dog going through the gaps(the rest of the fence has got plastic foliage on it so he couldn't get through that way)didn't go to the beach as my wife has mobility issues and couldn't climb the railway bridge stairs but you can drive round to it .

the wi fi was very good ,all in all a pleasant little break away

The weather was not good for our stay but we were comfortable at Ty Traeth.

Property is close to Llandudno and Conwy, well equipped and clean. Visiting Betws-y-Coed and Snowdon is a must. Hoping to return soon. Thank you

Wonderful property in a lovely location.

This is the 4th visit to the Beach House, and each time we have not been disappointed.

The cleaners make the property welcoming on arrival and the property has all the equipment to enjoy a stay in Deganwy. The fifth visit is already booked

We absolutely loved our stay at Sykes cottage.

Dog friendly with an enclosed patio and direct access to a shared lawn. Sea view. 5 mins walk to beach. Very well laid out apartment. Kitchen well designed with the necessary appliances and equipment. Llandudno was a delight and only a short drive away. We will be back.

Lovely property, everything we needed.

The weather let us down so didn't use outside much. The area was ok. We used the train and travelled about to different places. If you want a local pub it's a long walk. The Indian restaurant is great. Would recommend a trip to the rspb bird sanctuary at Conwy. Rhos on Sea is a pretty seaside town with a lovely beach front.

Really love this property and we were very lucky with the weather and have already booked a week later in the year.

5 min walk to the beach which has fantastic views of conwy & the Great Orme. The garden furniture & patio could do with a clean but would still recommend this property. Thanks.

We had a lovely stay this week, a beautiful beach apartment with all the things you need for a great stay.

Bed was super comfy. Just a few minutes walk to the beach which was beautiful. We enjoyed two bbqs as we had good weather too. The garden was a nice size but I felt it could do with some tlc, the bbq and table were both dirty and it needed a good sweep up it’s just the little things. Would come back again. Thank you

The place is ideally situated between Llandudno and Conwy, both places we love going to.

It is a quiet, well maintained apartment with everything you need for a holiday stay. I was a bit disappointed about not being able to let dog out on the grass at the back and wasn't told this until the last minute that I had to keep her on a lead at all times. Seeing it I could understand why. All apartments are open to the grassed area. There are great walks along the sea front available a stones throw and a Bridge away. My dog loved the walks and I loved the scenery. It is the first place we have been that we have been comfortable in and we are considering a return visit next year, bookings willing.

Lovely and clean, everything we needed and nice modern finishes to the place combined with traditional furniture. Photos do not do the views justice, you have to see them with your own eyes!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The property had a fully enclosed secure garden for our dog which was the main reason for booking. Upon arrival the surrounding views took our breath away and to wake up each morning to those views where a joy. We couldn’t believe our luck when we realised how close to the beach we was! The property itself was very clean and well equipped etc. we did need to buy some things like extra bin bags and toilet rolls etc but it wasn’t a problem. We felt right at home straight away and cannot wait to return in the future. Thanks again for having us.

Well equiped holiday cottage with nice views from several windows and outside terrace.

Quiet location, close to supermarkets. The appartment building is a bit dated but inside it is well maintained. Fresh paint, abundant sockets and solid furniture and a good matrass in our bed.

Another great week at this property and the weather was absolutely perfect.

Really hope to book again for next year.

This was the second visit to Ty Traeth as we enjoyed it so much the first time.

This visit did not disappoint either. The location is fabulous, so close to the beach and all the surrounding attractions. The apartment was spotless and had all necessary facilities. Could not fault it. So much so we booked for next year whilst we were there

Never heard of Deganwy before our visit but is a great location for exploring Llandudno / Conwy and the wider area.

Property was ideal for the two of us and the dog . Plenty of decent places to eat out and visit . We ticked off the Great and Little Orme plus visited Anglesey properly for the first time . I played 2 great golf courses as the weather was great for the time of year . Even did the local Conwy park run before setting off for home . A great visit , accommodation and the area both highly recommend.

Good comfort clean apartment, good place to park your car as well to keep the frost away, disappointing start,no heating on when we arrived and we both are well into our 70 s , the temperature was 2 c on that Thursday afternoon, maybe to have some chopping knife s and a wooden chopping board would be an advantage, otherwise very nice stay we had,probably book again in future, very handy base for Conwy x Llandudno etc , lovely area,

There were nice walks to be had which our little dog enjoyed especially her nightly trip to the beach. Would recommend

Our 4th stay at this property and again can not fault it, would recommend to anyone.

A few kitchen items missing.

Ie. Scissors. Measuring jug. Spare chopping board. Small chopping knives. Maintenance issues. Toilet seat loose. Doors sticking. Door catches. Loos toilet roll holder. Hot basin tap loose. Curtain track in main bedroom loose. Kitchen worktop edge worn and dirty.

Everything catered for in the apartment & wonderful outdoor area to enjoy. Superb location with great walks from the doorstep. Would highly recommend. Loved it so much, have booked again for Oct.

Brilliant patio area to enjoy, BBQ provided with tools which we made good use of. The flat is well equipped and comfortable. The location is excellent. There is so much to do within 15 to 60 minutes drive. The rest of the north Wales coast and Anglesey beaches are accessible from here. We had a wonderful week.

Lovely little holiday flat very near to the beach(ten mins over a bridge) with good sized rooms and beds (gran managed the bottom bunk even).

Washer, dishwasher, hairdryer and iron, smart tv, WiFi. Lovely sunny patio enclosed for the dogs. There are many nice places nearby - Conwy, Llandudno, Bangor etc. We are at the Castle View pub, the chippy and the Indian, in Deganwy, all good. We went on the beach and did crabbing off the harbour and my hubby and daughter fished off the Llandudno beach and we had bbq mackerel.

The check in time was 5 pm not 4 pm as advised by Sykes check out was 9 am not 10 am as advised by Sykes , which was not ideal The hob didn’t work Very nice apartment

Weather was glorious so we were able to get out and about every day - not sure we would have been so happy had we been confined by wind and rain!

The property is comfortable and very nicely furnished. Kitchen adequately equipped, but could benefit from a few more crockery items. Overall it is a great place to stay and I would go back again, once this world gets back to some sort of normality.

The area allowed us to leave the car most days and walk to Conwy ,the Great Orme and Llandudno.

enjoying the walks along the estuary and the sea front. Trips to Angelsey and Conwy mountain were not far away. The apartment was warm and comfortable and required everything we needed to relax , including the sounds of the sea and trains. Looking forward to staying again.

The flat was not very clean on arrival.

I have taken photos if you d like to see them.Broken bin in kitchen.No bin towel rail in bathroom.Odd drinking glasses.The whole place had an air of being unloved and a purely commercial feel to it.Bed was fine.Towels fine.Good postion.Would not return to it or in fact rent any where that dogs were welcome.

The only complaint is the bed, badly in need of a new bed and mattress.

A few things that could make it better - 1. Cleanliness - The shower head was filthy. Underneath the washing machine was also filthy 2. Outside - a) The barbeque was left uncleaned. Why was this? b) There was a bucket full of cigarette ends. Not very impressive. c) The umbrella was left broken. This had been mentioned in the comments book by a previous visitor so why was it just left?

Wife has mobility problems but faced with a step up to the entrance, a step up into the shower and a step down to the patio.

Suite very low. Kitchen had broken bin lid, worktop edges needed painting; lack of casserole dishes/serving dishes. Dining chairs very worn; Patio furniture tired; broken parasol. Bedroom lacked dressing table and mirror. Felt the whole apartment was tired and needed some TLC to bring it up standard. Having said all that the apartment was in a lovely area and very quiet. Private parking, dishwasher and washing machine a bonus. We did have a good holiday.

We had a wonderful week second year at this property, very quiet with wonderful views, we would definitely recommend.

We have been to this property three times now, so we know what to expect and everything is good.

We enjoy staying here, the location is its strongest point with walks into Conway and Llandudno and a few shops/takeaway nearby in Deganwy. The patio area is a bonus especially when the sun is out.The living area and kitchen/dining area is well maintained and well facilitated. Our only gripe , and it is only a small criticism is the double matress had seen better days, was a little uncomfortable and by the end of the week my wife and I both complained of back pain. I'm sure we'll be back again.

A fantastic experience

Not a massive problem, but no proper pub in walking distance.

Good central location.

Apartment has good facilities and clean bedding but lacks attention to detail/general maintenance. Shower has mouldy sealant, numerous lightbulbs needed replacing, loose floor beading, bathroom taps sometimes did not work, kitchen waste bin did not close due to broken catch and weeds growing on patio.

The Beach House in Deganwy is stunning- a real home from home.

It's in a quiet spot near to the beach within easy walking distance of Llandudno and Conwy and a short drive to many of the attractions and areas of outstanding natural beauty that North Wales has to offer. Accommodation is clean, well equipped and spacious with an amazing enclosed outdoor space. We'll definitely be returning.

The floors in the acomadation were not particularly clean, There was no vacuum in the property, it would have helped.

Itwas a home from home very comfy and well kitted out. Garden a bonus for the dog. Area is fantastic too with a short walk to the beach and local amenities. We would of the booked for October but the week already gone.

The cottage was marvellous and in a excellent position, can not wait to return next year we have already booked.

Not really, we stayed here at the end of March 2018, so knew exactly what to expect, it is a lovely apartment that is why we booked twice, just from the photos on your website alone, we imagined it would be ideal and it was, it didn't disappoint.

We stayed in their other property the Boat House last year 2017 which is just around the corner on the same estate,but is a 3 bedroom larger property which is more ideal for families, the Beach House is ideal for couples, but the area is in a fantastic location with good walks both into Conwy and Llandudno and both properties accept dogs which is great, I have already recommended the Boat House to my brothers family being that bit larger. The only small gripe with the property Beach House, but it's not really a gripe, more a reminder to the owners was the cutting knives are blunt, probably just due to being used frequently and also we did find the induction hob a bit temperamental and awkward to use, but we got by and regardless would still recommend this property to friends and family and we will definitely be booking again next year if it's still on the books, we had a superb time staying at the Beach House, exceptionally clean, modern and all you need for a holiday apartment with a south facing patio which is an added bonus, please pass our thanks to the owners.
