Rynys was a dream!

Perfect accomodation, so well done and to such a high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped and there are even herbs and spices etc to add to dishes. The basement wasn't at all as we imagined. Huge! Perfect for rainy days and cooler evenings. We watched a couple of movies in the cinema room too which was a real treat. The bedrooms are comfortable and the views were a dream. Particularly the balcony in the main room! Gareth was great and on hand for any issues which is very unusual for a holiday rental and reassuring. (A tiny shower blockage was sorted immediately). Overall, I couldn't fault the location or the property. I think that the addition of a floorplan could be useful for future bookings. The entire ground floor is level with level access to the garden and if necessary you can take a wheelchair around to get into the property too. The downstairs bedroom and shower is brilliant, although worth noting for those in wheelchairs that the downstairs shower is not a wet room or even a walk in, so we had to take our daughter upstairs to wash her, but we managed it. My only criticism of the entire thing was Skyes, who were not helpful at all even when booking as we had a couple of questions and when trying to arrange the bedroom setup before arriving (as was recommended) Sykes didn't respond to my messages and I had to wait for 45 minutes on the phone to get through to someone who didn't fully understand my questions. Luckily someone from Menai properties called me back to confirm! Anglesey was well worth visiting, we went to Newborough Forest which was beautiful and then onto the Oyster Catcher which was a real find. Definitely recommend. Such a perfect position for so many things. 5 stars!

Incredible place to stay.

Amazingly well kept & great facilities. Set on beautiful grounds with enough to do for all ages. Couldn’t recommend any more. We loved it.

What an amazing week we had with our boys and their partners , the house has everything you could possibly need and we were so lucky to have such good weather .

The beautiful secure garden was perfect for our 2 puppies who loved the freedom to roam free . Gareth was also super helpful and on hand for any requests . The only thing I would suggest is maybe a hot tub this would be a great addition to an already beautiful house . Thanks so much Debbie, mark and gang

We stayed in the house from the 20th to the 27th of June, as a party of six adults and a dog.

Upon arrival we were all greatly impressed at what the accommodation had to offer - particularly the Cinema room which certainly has the 'wow' factor. All the beds were comfortable, the Kitchen was very well equipped with a vast array of utensils, and the views from the back garden were impressive to say the least! We all enjoyed our stay so much that on our return home, we booked the house again for next year. Thank you!

Beautifully maintained house.

We were a family of 4 and my parents. The downstairs ensuite was perfect for my parents. Master bedroom is huge with lots of storage space. My 2 boys had the other 2 doubles and there was also a single bed attached to one of the double rooms. The cinema room and games room downstairs is perfect for the not so good weather and fun evenings. Bonus was a charging point for our car which made the holiday so much more relaxing not having to look for charging points. The kitchen diner is very well equipped and we ate in and out. Recommend the Garddfon Inn we ate there twice as it was so nice - best to book though as busy both Sat and Thurs evenings. The local Chinese wasn't so good but was an easy local meal. Overall this is a stunning house and we hope to return.

We were a party of 6 adults (mum, dad, son and partner and daughter and son-in-law), and 2 dogs and the facilities for all of us were excellent.

The setting is wonderful - so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather after “Storm Dave” and were actually able to sit in the garden to enjoy the spring sunshine - loved watching the buzzards! The outside space was wonderful full for the dogs - very secure. Plenty of indoor space if you want a quiet moment. The cinema room was well used and the pool table and table football were of much better quality then we expected - top notch. An added bonus ,which we weren’t expecting, was the table tennis in the garage - we made good use of this too. For the cooks in the party the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a full roast dinner. Newborough beach and forest are nearby and worth the drive. Conwy and Caernarfon for the castle addicts! We had a wonderful time and honestly cannot fault the property and are looking to see when we can go back . A special mention to Gareth who was on hand if we needed anything, and had great local knowledge (a visit to the ancient yew trees in the church was excellent). One of the very best places we have stayed in over 40 years of holidaying in the UK!

Wow, wow, wow ….

Not many properties impress us, but this one lived up to its photos… and more! It’s simply beautiful, from its location (which is stunning), to the garden, the house, games room and cinema - all were fantastic. We had a fantastic long weekend and didn’t want to leave - we will definitely be booking again! Thank you for a fantastic stay, the on site caretaker is also great. Don’t hesitate, book!

This property has everything we needed for our family with 3 toddlers and a little dog.

The space inside and outside was amazing. With the large trampoline, fantastic cinema and games room, well equipped kitchen, bedrooms and huge bathroom, we had a great holiday. The caretaker on the grounds was very friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Rynys, and certainly wished it could have been longer.

Purposely booked due to potential inclement weather changing our walking plans, and it definately didn’t disappoint! Our 4 teenagers loved the games room and Cinema, and there was more than enough space for us to feel comfortable. Gareth was also very helpful in giving us some local walking advice, and was on hand if needed. Top marks and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

This was our second visit to Rynys.

House and facilities are very good. We all enjoyed our week as much as the first time. Gareth (the caretaker) was very welcoming again. I'm sure we will visit in the future.

the place was lovely I enjoyed the cinema room and pool table and location was nice and quiet I would definitely go again I've got nothing but good things to say about the place you can appreciate craftsmanship of this building.

We had an amazing stay here.

Everything from the views to the facilities were incredible. Plenty of room for everyone and the garden made it so enjoyable in the nice weather. All the added extras we found in the kitchen made life so much easier (ice maker, mixer, plenty of pots and pans). The house is in a quiet location whilst being in reasonable driving distance from towns and attractions. We stayed for a week and could have done with another! Coming downstairs each morning to watch our dog chase the automatic lawnmower made for great entertainment. We will definitely be back.

Really great house - just shame the local pub is closed.

Fantastic house for a family with loads of space and the added benefit of activities to cover the rainiest of days.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas in what is a beautiful house.

As with other reviewers, Gareth the caretaker was really helpful and welcoming. The basement cinema, pool table and table football were a great hit. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and it was great to have a second fridge freezer. Boot dryers were a real luxe treat in the boot room after rainy walks! Perhaps a minor niggle, but many of the plates were chipped and it would have been good to have some oven gloves.

What amazing home we loved everything- home is spotlessly clean and beautiful, close to all the beautiful places in wales, Location was amazing too would certainly return and highly recommend- Gareth was great to in hand to help if you needed him thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us we loved it xx

We had a really lovely break here - a beautiful house, stunning surroundings and the perfect setting for our extended family getaway.

The caretaker was always on hand and responsive. The facilities meant we could have a good number of quiet days at home (even with a troupe of teens and kids!) but there was also plenty of places nearby for trips out. We are definitely planning to come back. Thanks for everything!

Good Morning Wow !

!! What a beautiful property - from the building its self to the interior design it showed care and thought. We were a family of 3 generations, semi wheelchair user and 2 dogs !!! The space and facilities were amazing. Your caretaker Gareth was great with places to go and general knowledge of the area and how things worked within the home. We had a fantastic week (weather this week helped but if it had rained and we had stayed in we would never get bored with the basement !!!) We are trade people - double glazing, property developers and ground working people so we found the book on the property very exciting to look at and could appreciate the workman ship you put in to building the property. When I was looking for a property to take the wheelchair yours fitted every thing (if I could just add the maybe a walk in shower with fold away chair on the wall may be an idea) But we were able to wheel dad round the whole house and out side with no problem - even up to the outdoor BBQ - fantastic We will be back to explore more of Wales and hope to stay at the luxurious home Rynys Thank you Laura Paul and the Gang

So well considered. Everything you could possibly need. Beautifully maintained. Gareth the caretaker was so helpful. The service from Sykes was woeful though. Impossible to contact and really tricky to book through.

Great place to stay, a beautiful house and setting.

For the most part absolutely brilliant.

Kitchen and cinema room particularly good. Technology great. How you get wifi that good in a rural location. Location really good. Easy to get to places but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Only downside was the wool mattresses on some of the beds. The guests with these rooms found them too hard and struggled to get a good night's sleep.

The pictures of the property look amazing but really don’t do it the justice it deserves - simply outstanding! We were all blown away by the thought and care that had gone into the property and looking to book again. The games room, garden space, trampoline and cinema were a huge hit, the views stunning, the location perfect. It just had everything we could ever want and more. The house was fantastic, clean and the welcome pack was very much appreciated.

Everything you could possibly need during the holiday was provided. Standouts were the cinema room and games room - very impressive. The trampoline in the garden was a big hit with our toddler - great for tiring him out during the day! The location of the house was great - close to both the coast and mountains, lots to do in the local area. Gareth was there to greet us and responded quickly to any requests. Well, what can I say… we absolutely loved our week at Rynys, it was everything we had hoped for and more.

Chosen mainly for the location, as well as luxury and comfort, we were not disappointed. Upon arrival the property was clean and tidy and in the kitchen was a welcome pack, which was much appreciated. There was also a folder which contained everything that you would need to know about the property and appliances plus lots of information leaflets for local attractions/places to visit. The views from the property are astounding, and it was very relaxing sitting out on the balcony or patio first thing in the morning with a cuppa, just gazing at the hills and mountains and listening to the wildlife. Rynys is exceptionally well laid out and the fixtures and fittings are of a high standard. We found a lot of our time was spent in the large, bright kitchen/diner, which is a great place to sit and chat, and also a great space for our dogs to rest and sleep in. It was always nice to relax in the living room later on, and we even had a fire in the wood burner one evening. All the bedrooms are very well furnished and the master bedroom is amazing, with views to die for from the balcony. The games and entertainment in the basement and garage were just another added treat for us all, and we really enjoyed using these facilities. Rynys is central to everywhere we wanted to visit, we just didn’t have time to get around all of them, but Conwy, Beddgelert, Betws-y-Coed, Caernarfon, and Angelsey are all less than 30 minutes drive. You can literally be in a forest, on a beach, up a mountain, walking along a river or lake in no time at all. Our particular favourite was a recommendation from Gareth, the exceptionally nice and helpful caretaker. We mentioned that we were going to Angelsey one day and after asking what we liked, suggested Llanddwyn Bay - what an amazing day we had with the dogs, and the fantastic weather certainly helped. Gareth kindly bought over a ball for the dogs to play with too, which was very thoughtful of him. I would definitely recommend staying at Rynys, especially if you are getting together with a few friends or family, as there is so much to do. We’re already planning our next visit later in the year!!! Wendy, Steve & Doggies.

Amazing well appointed property - great location with fantastic views.

The cinema room and games room was a huge hit aswell as the log fires in the evenings. Gareth was very helpful and would highly recommend.

Wow what an amazing property.

So glad I chose Rynys to celebrate my 60th birthday, the house was perfect for the 6 of us to enjoy our week away. The photos were great but to see the house in person, blew us away. The kitchen/dinner was perfect for meals, cocktails, games boards & quiz competition. Pool table proved very competitive & was enjoyed by all of us and the cinema room was a bonus. Beautiful property, great size rooms, warm & cosy, even tried the log burner in the lounge one night. Nice and quiet location, fab views & near enough to visit places of interest. Would not hesitate to return or recommend. Great having Gareth on hand when we needed him.

The house was absolutely immaculate, on arrival Gareth the caretaker greeted me and my parter (along with a very obnoxious dog) and was more than lovely towards us.

Throughout our stay we had a couple of minor incidents the main bathroom shower overflowed and caused water to leak through the ceiling, Gareth immediately aided us in what to do and made sure it was fixed the same day. The house itself was absolutely incredible with many facilities for all ages. The games room was an absolute hit for all 3 generations of my family and not to mention the sound quality of the sound system installed. Overall we were very impressed and I am sure we will be back!

Superb holiday rental.

Great location in North Wales close to Caernarfon and Anglesey. Our extended family really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space and well laid out. The house is in a lovely setting and is extremely well furnished throughout. It was very interesting to read through the book about the house renovations, quite a project. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, thank you. Gareth was very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. Our little grandaughter was fascinated by 'Magnus' the lawnmower as it travelled round the garden. She also thought watching 'Room on the Broom' with surround sound was just marvellous. Adults had a great time too and became very competitive at the pool table! We would highly recommend the house to others.

An amazing house, that delivered beyond our expectation.

We will definitely return again. Lovely country location, but close to all areas of North Wales.

The house was beautiful and absolutely immaculate with everything you could possibly need - apart from a microwave.would highly recommend and will definitely return.

What a gem!

This was THE best house we have ever stayed in, and we've been in a few over the last 25 years - everyone was wowed by it and everything it provided which was every single thing you could need except a microwave (unless we just couldn't find it!

). We chose the house for its location - Snowdonia and fantastic outdoor climbing around Llanberis - which is second to none, and the very large garden which was perfect for our dog who hates other dogs so we didn't want to have to take her out for walks - she loved the space and learnt very quickly to avoid the bee hives which are sited well away from the house and own a slope out of site - if you are concerned about such things. The views are incredible - sipping wine looking across to the mountains - it was heaven. The photos don't do the place justice as we didn't realise that the master bedroom is a contained suite with dressing room and amazing shower room. The downstairs boot room is amazing for storing all the walking kit and even a boot drier rack - we've never stayed anywhere so perfectly equipped and the whole family ran around on arrival exclaiming "WOW - look at this!" on arrival. We had sublime weather - just wall-to-wall sunshine - Anglesey has fantastic beaches and you are perfectly positioned for walking. There was ping-pong (not mentioned in the details so a nice surprise to find in the garage), table football, pool table, trampoline (very large) and a cinema room - for rainy days and kids - with a beer fridge so you don't have to go back up from the basement to the kitchen!! We had prosecco AND wine waiting in the fridge for us on arrival as well as milk and a basket with coffee, cake and welsh cakes. Fantastic. We had a perfect stay and will 100% re-visit. Don't even think twice about booking this place, you won't regret it - although don't book it so we can go whenever we want and pretend its ours!

We had an incredible couple of days at this property.

The facilities and views are amazing, everything has been thought through from the lighting to the spaces. The welcome pack and bits in the fridge were a really thought. And the basement…wow. It has enough space and things to do for a whole group to do what they want which was great. Couldn’t recommend this place enough

Absolutely enjoyed staying here, everything was outstanding,the only thing I would say is that the pillows were to soft,your head just falles through,this isn't a complaint it's just a preference apart from that absolutely loved it it.

hooefully our next visit here will be for a week as we felt a weekend wasn't enough.

Rynys is a fantastic place to stay!

Very quiet location with views over the mountains and beautifully maintained. The weather wasn't kind to us during our stay, but that just gave us an excuse to light the log burners and make the most of the house itself. The open plan kitchen/dining area is a great place for socialising while preparing food, while the games room and cinema means that there's plenty of space even if you are in a big group. Looking forward to returning in the summer to make the most of the garden too!

Beautiful property

Amazing house for my family.

Everything is so nice n fresh. Beautiful views outside the windows. Bed linens really clean. Bathrooms very fresh. We had so much fun in game room. We loved pool, table tennis, table football n kids loved trampoline n football. Fireplaces made the house quite warm n cosy. Really like the kitchen as well, floor heating helped a lot with bare feet. Such a good location close to many beautiful places to view. Housekeeper is very nice n helpful. Highly recommend for families or friends. So many things can do in the house. We had such a great time n kids don't want to leave at all!

The grounds outside were perfect , football goals set up and table tennis in the garage. The addition of a games and movie room, you were never bored. The grandchildren didn’t want to come home There is plenty to do in the local area too. Greenwood Family Park only 3 minutes drive away. Zip World and Snowdonia a drive away. We would definitely recommend Rynys to anyone wanting a perfect getaway. Gareth the caretaker is on hand if you need anything or have any questions. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
