Absolutely beautiful holiday accommodation.

Everything you could need. The house is so comfortable and styled so well. Great location so convenient.

Little School Brilliant accomodation.

Clean, fully functional and ideally suited to explore the island. No noise from the larger adjoining property. A good secure garden for our dog with no worries of it escaping A nice daily walk to the beach and back. This was generally on good footpaths and quiet minor roads. The beach is exceptional. Quiet, clean and great walking. I will return.

This was our first time staying at Ysgol Fach and we have re booked for next year.

The accommodation was spotless, modern and comfortable in a fantastic location to explore Anglesey. The outside space was bigger than expected with comfortable outdoor furniture and secure for our dogs.

Very nice accommodation, thoughtfully furnished with plenty of parking.

The beds were comfortable, the showers were excellent, and there was a lovely outside seating area. The Wi-Fi was brilliant too, which is important as there is virtually no mobile signal. Everything was clean, although a little more attention to detail with cobwebs and dust at both low and high levels would make a real difference. It felt as though these areas may have been missed on changeovers, but it certainly didn’t detract from what was an enjoyable stay. The TV remote wasn’t working properly. I understand this had been reported previously, so I’m not sure whether it’s the same issue or if it simply hasn’t been replaced yet. We only stayed for three nights and enjoyed it enough to book another three-night stay later in the year. For two people, the seating was perfectly adequate, but for four adults I think an additional armchair would make the lounge much more comfortable. The existing low armless chair isn’t really suitable for relaxing, and having three adults sharing the sofa while one uses the only armchair isn’t ideal. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with just a few minor points that, if addressed, would make the accommodation even better.

The accommodation was perfect in every way furnished out to a very high standard .

unfortunately for us our dog is raw fed so getting a weeks supply of food in an ice box was quite difficult and left no room for anything else, other than that it was a beautiful place to stay and we would deffinalty take the 6 hour drive to go again .I highly recommend this place

This was our second time staying at Little School and it did not disappoint - it has everything you need and the owner really has thought about home comforts too.

This is such a gorgeous place and Benllech really is the perfect location to stay to explore the island - we love it. Thank you once again, we will be back! x

We booked the small school and my brother had the large school next door.

There was a door in garden fencing which adjoined the cottages. It was ideal for our family get together. Facilities in both cottages were great .

Beautiful accommodation, lovely location, Gemma the owner was very helpful.

Definitely be back for the full week next year

An exceptional stay from start to finish.

The property has a real je ne sais quoi about it. As a couple travelling with our dog, the downstairs space was more than perfect for us. We absolutely loved the decor, especially the unique retro pieces of furniture throughout the house. We were lucky with the weather, and Ynys Môn was simply breathtaking. A truly perfect January break. Thank you!

Lovely and warm with the under floor heating (we were there in December) We didn’t use or go upstairs as we have a dog. Would visit again.

Little School had everything and the owner had really thought about the little things that you might need when on holiday - especially in the kitchen. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, well decorated and felt very homely! We have already booked to stay again next year - highly recommend to anybody wanting to visit Anglesey - perfectly located! Thank you again x

The property is in an ideal location to explore Anglesey by foot and car.

It is a modern renovation that has been done well. There is everything that you need and it is a light, airy space. The large glass panel floods the room with light. We enjoyed our stay here and the owners were on hand to answer questions. Unfortunately we couldn't locate the 2 back cushions for the outside seating area, which made them less comfortable. Overall it is a beautiful property and appeared mostly as the listing stated. As with any rental unfortunately not everyone treats it carefully, there were lots of marks on the white walls and some fixtures or fittings were slightly damaged, which is a real shame considering how much effort the owners have put into making it contemporary and aesthetically pleasing. I'm sure these can be easily rectified in the quieter months. It certainly wouldn't deter us from visiting again though as it is a beautiful place, which all 3 of us felt settled in.

The accommodation was fantastic, attention to detail was great.

If I had to say one thing bad about it, it would be that the pillows in both bedrooms need replacing and that was our only fault!

We had a great stay at the Little School.

The property was lovely, it had all mod cons and felt very homely. The decor had been thoughtfully put together so it didn’t feel like a rental property. Great location for the beach, shops and pub. Would definitely come back again.

On arrival the door handle and lock were loose.

The toilet seat was very loose in the downstairs bathroom,which was reported to the owner.The fridge doors didn’t fit properly, needed adjusting.The TV remote was faulty.We we’re really looking forward to our visit(Been coming to Benllech for sixty plus years) and a five star experience.Certainly not the case.

We loved Ysgol Fach and it proved a great base for visiting the sights of Anglesey.

The house has been very thoughtfully designed in layout and every need considered when furnishing and equipping it. Plenty of parking, a sunny outdoor space - we were very lucky to have sunshine nearly all week! - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely showers, dog-friendly accommodation, a big TV to relax in front of at the end of the day, and only a mile to one of the best beaches on the island. We’d love to return!

We had an amazing stay at Ysgol Fach (Little School) on the 14 January 2025.

The cottage was modern, beautifully furnished and fully equipped and it was lovely and warm, inviting and cosy. It was the perfect base for our little holiday and within such easy reach of Benllech and other lovely beach spots. The cot and high chair was perfect for our grandson and our dog made herself quite at home! A big thank you to Gemma who was on hand over the phone - she was extremely helpful and friendly and she also helped with the heating. Thanks again Gemma for a perfect stay, we would love to return and will be recommending this property to all our friends and family. Sue x

A lovely, well equipped property that was ideal for a winter getaway.

Great space for the 4 of us & just a short walk from the local shops & Benllech beach. Thank you for letting our 4 legged friends stay as well. We would highly recommend this to friends & family.

We had a fantastic week here.

The open plan made for a lovely family holiday especially with having two small children. It had an enclosed garden for the dogs which was just the right size. It’s a fantastic base for exploring Anglesey with plenty of facilities on your doorstep. We hope to return again soon.

It is perfectly situated for the beach just down the road and has some lovely features and touches.

The shower was amazing. The only negative things were that the ground floor bedroom was a bit cool and we couldn't quite get the right sound on the tv. It would have been nice if there was a dvd player too.

This was a beautiful cottage every aspect was of a top specification it was comfortable and very clean.

With regards to the location of the cottage it was perfect with a nice 15 minute walk down to the village with pubs and shops and cafes and the glorious beach. The little garden was very secure for our dog. I can highly recommend this property

A fabulous holiday home.

Clean and comfortable. Doggy gate very welcome and a nice enclosed garden. Fantastic TV, piping hot water. Had some problems with the heating but the owner came to the property and sorted it out. Thanks Gemma

Apart from my personal dislike of wicker this property was perfect for us.

It had space, it was neutral on the eye and the kitchen was great. Particularly liked the gate at the foot of the stairs. Cottages generally require dogs to stay downstairs but you enabled us to comply stress free as obviously dogs dont care about the rules. Parking, recycling and the deck and just enough grass all added value.

We had a lovely stay and cottage was superb.

The only thing we would say to improve would be to add a few more cooking utensils like egg cups,sieve,roasting trays,etc. We are real foodies however and appreciate not everyone is inclined to cook when on holiday. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

The cottage was lovely and located just a short 20 minute walk from Benllech.

The property is fab and really well thought out.

Clean and modern interior and the garden furniture came in handy when the sun was out! Lots of amenities to help make your stay as relaxing as possible and the Nespresso coffee machine has an aeroccino milk frother attached for perfect latte/cappucinos (mentioning this as I took one with me and didn’t need it!). Less than a mile down to the centre of Benllech and the Tesco Express and not much further to the beach, it’s a great base to explore further afield too. You couldn’t ask for more and I hope to visit again at some point in the future. The dogs had a fantastic time too!

First time staying in the little school & it did not disappoint.

Absolutely beautiful interior that’s incredibly well thought out. The safe secluded outside space was perfect for our two dogs and a delight to relax in .We made great use of the barbecue provided during our visit.Cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely be back.

A beautiful cottage which was fully equipped.

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is a lovely welcoming treat of Welsh cakes on arrival. Would definitely recommend this holiday accommodation.

This was our first family visit to Angelsey, we will definitely be back!

The little school location is perfect for exploring the Island! We did lots of activities which came recommended in the welcome pack from the owners, who made sure our stay was just perfect. Our favourites were, rib rides and crabbing in Beaumaris, tabogan run Llandudno and Newborough Beach/forest. The little school is refurbished to a very high standard lots of thought and heart from the dedicated hosts, we loved our stay and will be back!

The property is spotless and very stylish and comfortable it was perfect, the loveliest holiday cottage we have stayed in by far. We came here for my birthday with our 2 dogs and had a fabulous time, so much so we didn't want to leave. We will definately be back For another stay here as soon as we can Can't wait.
