We have had a wonderful stay at Riverlea.

It is in a super location right opposite the waterfall. The house has everything you need and is so comfortable. Like home from home. The New Inn do great food and staff are great. The Red is a pub the other side and has the story of the Alarm from the 80's who are the owners. We met his wife who was very welcoming. Well worth a visit. The shops on the high street only 10 mins walk away up the steps on the left by the white bungalow. It is steep up there though, not for people with mobility issues. All in all, a super visit and we will definitely return.

Wonderful pub next door serving lovely food. The waterfall and surrounding walks were very enjoyable.

We did enjoy our stay in Riverlea but we did have an issue over the heating.

We had no heating coming on in the morning, it came on at 5-30 in the evening and went off at 8. Some days were a bit chilly and we could have felt better if it was warm. A wood burning stove was there but no information on how to use it or what type of wood to get, it would have been ideal if there was some fuel included. We came home early because of feeling cold. I did ask about it but nothing was done. Felt disappointed.
