Bron Gors

Bron Gros is an excellent place to spend your time exploring North Wales.

We have been there many times and feel sad that the owner is looking into selling the house.

Bron Gors was the perfect base for us, whilst we walked the Llyn Peninsula coastal path.

Situated near the end of a quiet lane, the property is surrounded by beautiful views and fields with cattle and sheep as daily visitors. Evening sunsets were idyllic. The cottage was perfect for our party of four adults. It had everything you need for a self catering stay. The welcome pack from Mrs Jones, the owner, was a very kind gesture and most appreciated by us, especially the homemade barra brith, which was delicious! The accommodation together with the great location made this a blissful stay and a welcome retreat to return to after pounding the miles along the coastal path.

Really good property, clean, spacious, and well equipped.

Great view! Nice garden for the youngster to play in. Splendid location. Lots of sandy beaches and Snowdonia within easy reach. One of the best holidays we can remember!

2nd year at Bron Gors and excellent as always, very clean and everything you could need.

The location is outstanding and the views in the evening are beautiful? I'll miss those evening drinks outside. The local pub is a 10 minute walk away and the food is very nice. There is also a childs play area 2 minutes around the corner. Would definitely recommend.

Great house for a group of 6.

Maybe more seating in the kitchen/ living room as the weather was good and we didn’t really use the back room.

Such a lovely quiet location,just the sound of the birds and the sheep. The pub in the village was welcoming and the food was excellent though the portions were enormous! Nearest beach at Morpha was super especially ina heatwave.

We had a lovely weeks stay at Bron Gros.

Accommodation was spacious and plenty of room to take yourself off for a bit of peace and quiet. (we were a multi generational family) Kitchen facilities were excellent. Garden lovely, unfortunately the weather was wet and cold but we stayed the end of November so only to be expected, but would be beautiful location in the summer. Highly recommended. Only less positive thing we would have liked more visible information around the under floor heating and log fire. .

We were very comfortable and the house has space for everyone to sit together or to spread out. We can"t wait to go back.

Fantastic property in an amazing location.

The house was spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. We were a group of 7 and so the large kitchen/dining/living space was ideal and the bedrooms all roomy and comfortable. The views are beautiful and the peaceful surroundings perfect. Bethan was great at responding to questions and we really appreciated the 'welcome' goodies she left for our arrival.

It had everything you need. It could do with a soap dish in the upstairs bedroom en suite. It could also benefit having a new patio set and a tidy up in that area as that bit is not very appealing. All in all a lovely holiday location.

The weather was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed lots of different beaches in the area. The Barra brith, wine and other bits left for our arrival was very much appreciated & enjoyed. The house is lovely, has an amazing garden and is very close to a play park (an added bonus when you've got young kids!) We would absolutely recommend staying at this property to explore the area.

Perfectly maintained and the kitchen is so well equipped. A real home from home. The wine, milk, juice and homemade Bara brith were really appreciated. We would recommend this property for families and couples alike.

The property is comfortable and well thought out. The kitchen is the best equipped we've seen in a holiday let. It is easy to reach many great places in the car within 20 minutes. Would love to stay here again.

Great property, clean with everything you would need and more.

Village was very quiet and locals were friendly and helpful. Driving in the area was a pleasure, what a change from back home. Loads of lovely beaches, plus weather was kind to us.

This is a beautiful house in a fabulous location, we particularly enjoyed the kitchen/dining/sitting area with the wonderful views, and spent most of our time in that room when we weren't out and about exploring this lovely country, I bet it would be glorious to be here in warmer weather to be able to enjoy sitting out in the garden.

We also enjoyed watching the cows and sheep close up each day (they seemed to alternate daily) and the wonderful variety of birds that came into the garden, it was actually hard to tear ourselves away from the house! Inside the house there is everything you could possible need for a self catering holiday, there is certainly plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans etc to accommodate your catering needs. As a party of 4 we only used two of the bedrooms, the downstairs double and the upstairs king sized, both had very comfortable beds. We loved this place and would have given it 5 stars, however, the lack of somewhere to put your toiletries in the shower was quite an issue for some of us 'less abled folk', having to constantly bend to pick up shampoo, body wash etc in such a confined space was pretty uncomfortable, not what you really need when trying to take a shower each day, and it's a little disappointing to see this issue has been raised by others and has still not been addressed, a little rack to hang over the showers would make it much more comfortable for your guests. Also, maybe a fan to use in the main bedroom upstairs? It's not been mentioned by others, but the bonus of having the beautiful big windows to take advantage of the stunning views meant that when the sun was shining it was extremely hot up there, even through the night as it was such a warm room in general, so a fan would have been most welcome. As a little note to housekeeping, you might want to check under the cushions in the kitchen sitting area, my pen went between the cushions on the sofa one morning, and when I removed the cushion to retrieve it, I have to say it didn't look like it had been vacuumed for a little while (either that or your previous guests had been extremely messy and it had just been missed on this occasion). Apart from these few little issues, if they were to be addressed I'd definitely give this house a 5 star review. A big thank you for the wine, orange juice and Bara Brith (which was the best I have ever tasted, including my own!) we tried it in a few places while we were out, and yours was by far the best!

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in.

We struggle to find properties with a bathroom per couple so this fitted the bill. Very spacious we could all congregate in the huge kitchen and enjoy the wonderful view, and relax in the living room later on. Lovely and warm, clean and tidy, very well thought out and tastefully decorated. In a great location with a local friendly pub. Great for looking at the stars to, husband happy to see a shooting star…One petty niggle from us all was a lack of anywhere to put your body wash shampoo etc in the showers…but hey ho. We had the best time and would highly recommend Bron Gors

This holiday home is fabulous inside and outside.

The views are wonderful. We were a family of 4 adults and 3 children 3 and under and this property was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped . Plenty of room and space for us all to enjoy. The children loved the gardens and swings. The complimentary wine and cake went down very well thank you as did the orange juice and milk. Would recommend this property for a great stay in wales. Fabulous stay from all of us.

Fabulous holiday home set in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Everything provided even a cake and wine to welcome us. Our son is disabled so the bedroom with en-suite on the ground floor was ideal. The owners Bethan and Gwynn were very helpful and on hand to sort any problems but we just didn’t need them everything was perfect. Our home from home in Morfa Nefyn even had cows and a calf in the field next to us. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Had a slight problem mid week, but the owner was on hand to keep me informed. Thank you. The house is lovely, lots of space, indoors and outdoors in the gardens.

The feedback from the family was that this house was one of the best for the family break, we all had plenty of space and the views were fantastic.

The cake and wine went down well with everyone (thanks for that), and if we come back to Wales in the future we will be looking to book again.

One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed at.

Very spacious, lots of light and very well equipped. The garden area was a bonus and our grandchildren enjoyed playing games on the grass. Very peaceful spot with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Nice beaches a short drive away. Lovely playground a few minutes walk away for the kids. We had incredible sunny weather every day which was wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the area, in superb accommodation, we would highly recommend Bron Gors.

What a beautiful house!

My siblings and I spent 3 nights here. Lovely and warm on our arrival, milk and orange juice in the fridge, a bottle of wine and delicious cake. We felt very welcome! Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Gorgeous lounge and fab kitchen diner. One of the nicest houses we have stayed in. Wonderful views! We loved it and would definitely book again! Such a pretty area to explore. Would definitely recommend. One little thing to mention is the toaster only toasts one side of your bread but who cares everything else was 5 star.

A large beautiful house in a very quiet location.

The house was very well furnished and very well equipped, and it was a great central location for photographing the Llyn Peninsula coastline. Ideal for a family and would happily return again.

This was our 2nd time staying at Bron Gors, this time we had our grandchildren with us, so the addition of the swings in the garden was welcome.

The house is lovely, it is decorated beautifully & is well equipped. The gardens are gorgeous and have wonderful views. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there , so much so, that I looked to see it the house was free for the weekend so we could extend our stay. Unfortunately it wasn't!

Bron Gors is a fabulous cottage in a peaceful location with lovely views across the fields.

The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It's just a few minutes from the beach at Morfa Nefyn and Porth Dinllaen. The children loved playing in the garden and the nearby playground.

Bron Gors is a beautiful property in a very quiet location.

The views are fabulous. The house has everything you could need so ideal if you want to cater for yourselves. There is a large fridge freezer and food storage cupboard to store everything and loads of pots and pans etc. There is a lovely pub, The Ship, about a ten minute walk away and a nice Chippy in nearby Morfa Nefyn. Other than the pub and a small shop there isn’t anything else in the village so better to take some provisions with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend Bron Gors.

Bron Gors cottage is wonderful.

There were six of us having a long awaited family get-together. The cottage was large and well equipped and had ample parking for our three cars. Bron Gors is quiet, secluded and has great views. Our pre-arrival phone call was answered cheerfully and helpfully by Mrs Jones and the gift of wine and home baked bara brith put a smile on our faces from the start. The location is also ideal with walks from the cottage and many more just a short drive away.

We have had many holiday cottages over the years, but we both agree that Bron Gors is the best yet.

Great location with lovely pastoral views, very quiet and secluded. Superbly clean, well presented and very well equipped. The fact that we had wall to wall sunshine for the week certainly helped! We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Bron Gors to anyone. Thanks Bethan for a great week.

We had a fabulous family holiday. Bron Gors had everything we needed, plus amazing views and quiet rural setting. The property was very well maintained, and ideally located for us to explore around the Lleyn Peninsula. We enjoyed Edern's Ship Inn, and Morfa Nefyn's Y Bryncynan and Gwen's Chippy.

We have been in many many cottages around Wales but this house well exceeded expectations.

We called it a footballers house, spotless every utensil you could think of. four bathrooms beautiful bedding comfy beds, in a fantastic rural quiet location. the gardens were immaculate with swings and clothes drying also with large utility room. it was a pleasure staying at this house would love to book again. everything was very high quality, spacious, even had a shed with buckets spades surf boards everything. the owners should be very proud of there property would love to book again. highly recommended.

The house was lovely, the setting was better than I expected and the rooms were beautifully set out.

We took my Father with us, he has mobility problems but it was such an easy house to navigate that the whole experience was enjoyable.

Bron Gors is a lovely, large house in a great setting with far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside.

The house itself was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The lounge was particularly and even had a grandfather clock! Our only criticism was the lack of shelving in upstairs en-suite bathroom, which meant all our toiletries had to be kept on the floor. A soap dish on the sink is essential and a storage in the shower would also be very useful. Apart from this small criticism, a great holiday home!

Great location for great beaches (Morfa Nefyn/Nefyn, Tudweiliog within a few minutes), fabulous house itself, so clean and comfortable with great views out from the kitchen. Loved it!

The house felt really homely with a well equipped kitchen,games for the children,and a good selection ofbooks and dvds.The beds were comfortable and the showers excellent.we liked the fact that we could watch the children play in the garden through the large glass windows while preparing a meal.We loved the generous welcome gifts ,so thoughtful(and delicious). In fact we enjoyed it so much that we booked it again for next year.

This was our 5th year at Bron Gors so we knew what to expect.

It’s a spacious cottage with plenty of room for a large mixed age group but also with areas to find a quiet corner. This year we had bright blue skies with cold weather to start then hot sunny beach days. The addition of milk, orange juice, bara brith and a bottle of wine are welcome additions to start a holiday.

As soon as we arrived it was absolutely spotless. It had all the facilities we wanted and more! It was in a great location, very peaceful and picturesque, but conveniently located just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to Abersoch! The hostess was incredible and left us a bottle of wine and lovely cake. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely home in a quiet setting with beautiful views.

The owner's were very welcoming with flowers, cake, wine, milk and juice! Everything was thought of from the extra supplies in the kitchen to an abundance of wood for the log burner. The small village of Edern has easy walking access to the coastal path and a ten minute walk from the cottage to The Ship Inn, highly recommend for fabulous food and friendly atmosphere.

The place was so well equipped.

Not just utensils but laundry liquid, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. Plentiful cutlery, glasses and plates and every pot and pan you might need. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, full of nick nacks and ornaments that made it feel like a real home. I would happily move in.

Bron Gors was a brilliant holiday house.

It was extremely well equipped, very comfortable and in an idyllic location. It ticks all the boxes for me.

Wow, what an amazing place, it really felt like a home, the space, the quality of the cottage and the views are outstanding.

As a family you literally could arrive and entertain yourselves without leaving the cottage. It’s brilliant and safe for kids to play, and we WILL definitely be returning to this one, didn’t want to go home

It was spotlessly clean. Being 3 ladies, we appreciated having a bathroom each! It's in a peaceful place, we had good weather so were able to sit out and enjoy the views and the weather. If anything, we were too warm some nights, so spare sheets to use on the beds instead of the duvets would have been handy. The owners were very pleasant on the phone, they made us feel very welcome, with a bottle of wine, some flowers and a fresh bara brith waiting for us when we arrived. The cake disappeared quickly!

A lovely cottage in a great location

We absolutely loved the cottage at Bron Gors and had a lovely week aided by some fantastic weather.

Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the owner as we arrived late and left early. We did however speak on the phone when the owner rang to check everything was ok as she hadn't been able to greet us at the cottage, and again when I called pretty late in the evening due to a minor problem which was dealt with and solved with efficiency. A very pleasant and helpful owner. I have just one suggestion, it is something I always have a bit of a whinge about in holiday cottages. It would be useful to have a shelf/or tray inside the shower cubicles to hold toiletries so that you don't have to bend down all the time. Also the other people with us used the shower in the main bathroom and said it was very slippery so maybe consider some shower mats to aid safer showering, & perhaps handrails, particularly for those who might be slightly disabled. All in all though a very comfortable and well equipped cottage making for a great holiday. Thank you.

It's a stunning house and is fantastically equipped. We have been going to the Llyn on and off for nearly 38years and this was the first time we stayed somewhere new. Personally, I found the house was slightly over priced but I would have to say that it is a stunning place and the hospitality is brilliant. This was a once off for a big birthday... though we would love to stay there again.

Plenty of places to go nearby but still had the peace and quite if wanted. The house was great, comfy, clean and cosy with lots of space. The owner made us feel really welcome even baked us a lovely cake. The group had a really good weekend and didn't want to leave, we all said we would go back and overall can't fault the place.
