Jane was so friendly and we were blown away by our welcome pack, she even made us Welsh cakes for the journey home. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Perfect

Absolutely stunning cottages, all set on a working farm and all 4 cottages are set within a beautiful courtyard , absolutely lovely host Jane, who went above and beyond with cakes, sausage rolls and even eggs as we were leaving !

Jane was very helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had to ask. The cottage is in a great location, close to the beach and the mountains with lots of attractions right on the doorstep. Idilic location with beautiful views. We will definitely be back to stay.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location.

Easy access to Bangor, Caernarfon, Anglesey and the mountains so perfect for exploring North Wales. Appreciated the goodies on arrival, especially Jane going the extra mile to make some gluten free and delicious Welsh cakes. Cottage well kitted out, amazingly comfortable beds to sink into at the end of the day, and a well-equipped kitchen. Decor lovely and we felt at home. Wifi signal was variable but that was ok for us. I’m sure we will be back, as it felt perfect for us.

An excellent location to explore and enjoy North Wales, Snowdonia and Anglesey.

A comfortable and well equipped cottage in peaceful surroundings with the mountains and Snowdon as a backdrop. We received a very warm welcome from Jane with a generous supply of homemade cakes! We enjoyed two wonderful weeks.

What a lovely welcome awaited us, on our arrival Jane had left homebaked cakes and sausage rolls that were delicious.

Although we ate out everyday, should we have wanted to cook, there was every kind of pot and pan available and a large cooker and fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely soft bedding and the shower was superb, especially after a long day hiking the beautiful Welsh countryside. Just as we were leaving Jane came out to give us more homemade Welsh cakes for our journey home. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday, highly recommend.

It is perfectly positioned for Snowdonia, Anglesey and the coast. The cottage is clean, comfortable, quiet and really well equipped. We could not have asked for more but we got more! So many delicious baked goods, they kept us going all week! Thank you xx.

We was made very welcome when we arrived and greeted by Jayne who showed us around the property and introduced us to her homemade cakes, delicious!

The property was warm, cosy & spacious. No issues at all and would highly recommend. Ideal area for mountain and costal walks. Hope to see you again in the future.

We felt very much at home at your cottage. And we loved the wood stove. We loved to be on your farm with all the birds and animals and the countryside sounds. The kitchen is very cozy and well equipped.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Hendre, starting with the delicious baked goodies left for us by the owner.

It is an excellent place for touring Anglesey and we visited many places on our wish list. It was lovely staying on the farm with all the newborn lambs and calves to look at too! The cottage was warm and cosy and we loved the large walk in shower upstairs and the woodburner in the lounge.

The cottage was the best equipped one we've ever been to.

We were made very welcome and the home made cakes and sausage rolls were exquisite. We loved the place and North Wales: its great to hear Welsh being spoken. To paraphrase Arnold Schwarzenegger "we'll be back". The McLaughlins

We entered the property and discovered a large selection of sweet and savoury baked goods laid out for us by Jane, the owner.

They were all delicious. This is a very comfortable and well equipped property that has everything you need. The beds are very comfy, the fire is wonderful and it's in a good area. There are lots of things to do and places to visit that are only a short drive away. If you have a dog I suggest making the very short drive to Y Felinheli as there is a great dog exercising area on the waterfront where they can run and swim. There is also a nice pub if you fancy a pint. I will definitely come back to this cottage as my family and I really felt at home here.

Lovely, well equipped and furnished cottage.

A special and warm welcome was provided by the owner with a table set ready for tea, loaded with tasty home baked cakes and pastries. Great central location for easy access to Snowdonia, Anglesey, Caernarfon and other attractions of the area. We had a brilliant holiday, would certainly stay at Hendre again and also would recommend to others.

The cottage was easy to find and the additional directions and advice from Jane the owner was much appreciated.

Jane also went to the trouble of leaving us with plenty of delicious cakes and biscuits that she'd prepared for our arrival. The cottage itself was very cosy, comfy and quiet and had all the essentials that we needed for our stay, the location was great as well for the touring we had planned to do. Jane was on hand if we needed anything. All in all we had a lovely stay in a great location and we would definitely return at some stage in the future

Excellent property.

The owner was great, very welcoming, provided a feast of baked goods, and was there to answer my questions. The cottage is lovely, very comfortable and had everything we could need. The location is fantastic, easy access to all of Snowdonia. It was very nice going to sleep to the sound of sheep and cows in the surrounding fields.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful.

It was clean and tidy throughout. The decor was amazing and the attention to detail was second to none. Everything was thought of. Jane even made us a huge selection of cakes for our arrival which were absolutely delicious and she greeted us which was a lovely gesture. 10/10. Couldn’t have asked for better. We will be back next year.

We would stay at Hendre again in a heartbeat.

Jane left out various pastries on our arrival which was lovely. The place was spotless and incredibly homely. I could have stayed forever. The working farm it’s on was a joy. The country smells and the glimpses into the farms life, cows being moved around sheep and lambs in the fields was just a delight. It was very well placed for everything. Llanberis just around the corner. Plenty of shops in the vicinity. The surrounds and the views in the area were simply stunning. We will hopefully be back and staying at TY MAWR farm in the future. Thanks Jane and family for giving us a great week on your farm.

The tea and baking upon arrival was lovely and very welcome after a long journey! The cottage is spacious, comfortable, well appointed with everything you need and in the perfect location for exploring both Snowdonia and the coast. We've stayed in many places over the years and this is one of the best. Thank you Jane for a lovely holiday.

We didn't stay at Hendre due to building work in the cottage next door.

The lovely Jane upgraded us FOC to Beudy Bach which was totally faultless. Best property we've ever stayed in for welcome.comfort, amenities and location. Will definitely stay again.

What a beautiful gem of a cottage.

I really couldn't find fault in any area. Warm , peaceful, well stocked, well maintained. Set in a peaceful farm , just a 5 min drive to all major routes. Jane was very welcoming and supplied us with some scrumptious home made baking on our arrival and for our journey home. The property is set in a small area on the farm with 3 other holiday accomodations and would be absolutely perfect for a group of friends wishing to holiday together. I look forward to returning and to say the beds were luxurious would be a understatement, and the shower, how I missed that shower last night. Thankyou Jane.

Plentiful hot water, good shower, comfortable bed and lovely welcoming food.

Only problem was height of doorways but that is my husband’s fault for being 6ft 4ins tall.

Our cottage was lovely as was the owner Jane, she kept us stocked up with Welsh tea cakes and was very helpful when we had to take our dog to the vets, I would highly recommend this property, I would definitely go back there again,

Fantastic cottage, in a great location, very welcoming host will definitely return.

The cottage was really lovely - full of mod cons such as dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, etc.

The beds were extremely comfortable, so much so, that my friend has now gone home to buy herself a new mattress! The shower was fab - hot power shower. Apart from an issue on the very first night with WiFi, which the owner quickly rectified, we had no concerns at all. My only one small issue was that I thought the garden with this cottage was enclosed, as I have 2x Spaniels, but it was just an open patch of grass for generic use for all 4x cottages. I just ensured they were always on their leads when we used it. The owner was so welcoming, banana loaf, Welsh cakes all left freshly baked for us on arrival, which bearing in mind we'd driven all the way up from Cornwall, was a very welcome sight! Would 100% recommend this cottage, and would happily stay again. Really good location for travelling around North Wales.

Absolutely amazing, lovely renovation of the barns, set in the farm, beautiful decor throughout - modern bathroom with slate effect walk-in shower Kitchen was modern and Country feel Perfect peaceful location Host, jane and family are lovely,, such a warm welcome with Yummy home made cakes on arrival, perfect after a long journey This is outstanding and looking forward to going back, many thanks to Jane and family for sharing there home Location was great, 10 min drive to Anglesey, 15 min to Llanberis, 15 min to Caernarfon, 20 mins to llyn ogwen.

This was a wonderful property and perfectly suited for our needs.

It was an ideal location for the places we wanted to visit in North Wales. Jane, the host was wonderful and it was a warm welcome to arrive to some fresh homemade cakes. A beautiful property, well equipped with all your needs and Jane was very accommodating for all our needs and quick to deal with an issue when the toaster stopped working! Highly recommend.

Jane, the owner of the property was very helpful and friendly during our stay.

She provided a lovely selection of home baked treats on our arrival and three other cake deliveries during our week there. The cottage was very well furnished and the beds very comfortable. The walk in shower was very easy to use as one of our party had mobility issues, we did not use the wood burning stove as it was too warm but there was lots of fuel provided. We visited lots of lovely and varied places within a reasonable journey time. We would definitely recommend these cottages to family and friends.

The host, Jane, was very welcoming, providing us with a tasty home baked tea when we arrived. The cottage was warm and very well equipped with a huge kitchen and comfortable beds. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding towns - Llanberis is just minutes away by car, and Bangor, Caernarfon, Plas Newydd are also very close. Highly recommended.

As we where due to arrive Jane txt asking for a 30mim pre arrival notice.

- this was to allow her to have the scones ready When we entered the kitchen the table was full with a selection of cakes. The lounge seating was comfy and more the adequate for our party of four adults. The bed was so comfy and the shower was fantastic . Jane as a host couldn’t do enough for you would absolutely recommend this property as you won’t be disappointed !!!!

Lovely spacious cottage, fab shower, fabulous hostess who provided cake and milk on arrival and more cake to go home with!

The cottage was lovely,clean ,tidy and great for us and 2 large dogs. My only wish was it could have done with a dog walking area (just a bit of land fenced off for dogs to be walked on lead as it’s a working farm) as the grass verge by the main road was too narrow and too busy to walk our dogs but otherwise a fab location with plenty of beaches within easy reach and Anglesey (which we loved) nearby. Would happily book again but maybe with one of the cottages with a bit of a front garden!

everything you could possibly need was included.very nice cakes were given on arrival. just be careful in the shower the floor is very slippery when wet,we put a towel down as well as the non slip bath mat.overall no problems.

I have stayed in many cottages over the years and Hendre is amongst the very best in a great location.

Spacious cottage with excellent facilities. With two cars off street parking which is important to us was excellent. Jane our host was fantastic. Always available and nothing was too much trouble and to find on arrival no less than three superb home baked cakes on the kitchen table says it all.

The cottage was very good comfortable and homely, Jane the owner was very helpful and there for any inquiry.

The are was pretty and scenic. The only draw back for us was there was no where near for us to exercise our dog, but this as a small point and did not effect our very enjoyable holiday stay at Hendre.

A well equiped,comfortable cottage, ideal for a family of four. Location good for exploring the area, plenty to do with teenage children with National Outdoor Centre 5 minutes away if they want to try windsurfing, climbing, sailing...

Beautiful cottage in perfect location to be able to visit Anglesea and surrounding areas.

Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s been recently redecorated and gives you the real cottage experience. Log burner is amazing. Owner very helpful and friendly. Arrived to lovely home made cakes & tea, coffee & sugar all available. Wished we could have tried the owners cooked breakfast but it wasn’t available during our stay. Would definitely stay again

We completely enjoyed our stay at Hendre cottage.

Jane met us on arrival to give us the keys and show us around. She also had a lovely tea set out for us. The bedrooms were set up nicely and very comfortable. The bathroom had just been redone with a gorgeous new shower which was very nice though I did miss having a bath to soak in at night. The farm where the cottage is located was great and there was plenty of parking. The location was very close to everything and made it easy to explore Snowdonia.

Amazing cottage so peaceful and exactly what we thought it would be.

It was made better by the lovely hostess Jane especially the cakes made on our arrival and our departure. Lovely touch! So good to have little things for us like washing up liquid, toiletries etc. Cottage really good. Only criticism is think it would benefit from having a proper shower over the bath with shower curtain put up. It’s hard to not have a shower for a week.

Really nice holiday cottage.

Great location, very close to Llanberis (for Snowdon), Caernarfon and Bangor. Awesome view from the courtyard every morning! Very helpful landlady. Well equipped kitchen, and cosy living room. Comfortable beds, and provided a baby cot and stair gate for our little one. (There was a review we read before about lack of shower curtain, this is very much still an issue! The shower head has a leak on one side as well, so water gets ALL over the floor! Don't put your clothes or towel anywhere near the bath if you have a shower! But this is a pretty minor issue) Had a lovely time! Thank you!

The wording in the cottage description led you to believe there was a garden with the cottage and that the local pub and shop 2 miles away was walkable.

Wording needs changing to state communal shared garden and no footpaths led off from the Farm and local pub and shop was by car only. Two kep points when taking dogs with you.

We were very happy with our choice of accommodation - the owner was lovely and very friendly.

As this is on her land specifically we got to chat when we arrived. The accommodation is not the "Cleanest" with some things being a bit dusty and cobwebbed - but at the end of the day its a farm cottage and was roughly in line with my expectation. Once we got settled we found most of the things that mattered in cleanliness were taken care of - the couch and carpets were all clean and so were the beds. The arrival was lovely with Jane (Owner) having made food for our arrival including baked items on the kitchen table that went above and beyond what she needed to do. As a penny pinching Scotsman i must say i felt we got our money's worth :). The parking outside could get complicated if the housing was all in use and they all had cars / multiples there were three cars at our time of staying and we all managed perfectly fine and could possibly squeeze 1 or 2 (maybe) more without having a tight parking situation! The fire was a delight i had not 100% expected as it was as Jane allowed us access to the firewood stores to collect our own fuel as and when we wished and we made good use of this on chillier nights though often these were far and few between with the cottage being quite warm (probably with the weather). One thing to bear in mind, the ceilings are very high but those doorways ain't ;) and its easy to forget that on the way to the loo at 2am. The only thing i would point out as needs improving would be the show in this cottage, i would add an anti slip mat to the bath for one, as this was noted when all 6ft 6 of me went a bit slidy, and the second thing would be a curtain, i felt terrible with the fantastic water pressure in this shower that the water just sprayed everywhere in the bathroom. That would be the only thing i think. For people looking at booking i recommend you do so its a great place lovely and out of the way, it took 10 minutes to get to walks around the cottage for hills, or to visit the towns (10 min drive to Bangor and supermarkets) and a 20-30 minute outing to Holy Island for a day. This is a perfectly placed cottage that is comfortable and friendly with excellent facilities and a fantastic link to nearby areas - it has to be the best place i have stayed in the last 10 years. What a wonderful place to stay, central point for visiting lots of places in Snowdonia.

A brilliant exeperience for our little boy as we visited at the right time to see all the new lambs and brand new calves, he loved it and didn’t want to leave.
