“Stayed at this charming cottage for two nights over christmas.”

There were 4 adults in our family group and one dog. We found the cottage very comfortable and relaxing. If I could convey the cosiness of this cottage to you, I would say, think of the film The Holiday; picturesque, roaring log fire and rural location. Infact, for anyone who likes stargazing, I would class this as a dark sky site, because on a clear Christmas Eve, I've never seen so many stars! The quiet location also made for a peaceful nights sleep. Both bedrooms in the cottage have double beds, and though low, are very comfortable. There were heaters in each room which warmed the bedrooms up very quickly. The garden room was used by two of our party for sleeping, and they loved having their own space. The sofa bed, pulled out to make up a large double, so they were comfortable and the heater kept the place warm. This cottage is in a great location. You can see the sea from the cottage. It's very dog friendly, with lovely walks from the front door. We took a 20 minute stroll on Christmas day to a bay called White beach, which is right near a National Trust nature reserve. Simply stunning! Another plus was the lovely owner. I phoned her twice prior to arrival with a couple of questions, and she was very pleasant and accommodating to speak to. Thank you.
